Questo dispositivo è adatto all’apertura a distanza di cancelli attraverso un
modem GSM incorporato a 900/1800 MHz. Il Gatel-1 può memorizzare
fino a 499 numeri telefonici. Se un numero telefonico memorizzato chiama
la carta SIM inserita nel Gatel-1, questo attiva automaticamente l’apertura
del cancello. La programmazione avviene tramite tastiera remota via radio
inclusa.
1. Per iniziare
Rimuovere la la copertura in plastica che protegge i terminali di
collegamento, i led e i tasti. Si potrà vedere:
A - Morsetto di collegamento dell’alimentazione a 12V c.c.
B - Power Led : acceso quando viene fornita alimentazione al morsetto A
C - GSM Run: questo Led lampeggerà quando è presente campo GSM, al
contrario rimarrà spento se non c’è presenza di campo GSM
D - Led LEARN: lampeggia quando viene premuto un qualsiasi tasto sulla
tastiera wireless.
E - tasto PROGRAM: premendo questo tasto verranno emessi 2 beep e
sarà possibile memorizzare uno o più numeri telefonici.
F - tasto LEARN: premendo questo tasto e successivamente premendo
un tasto sulla tastiera wireless fornita a corredo sarà possibile abbinare la
tastiera wireless al Gatel-1.
G - Relé: questa relé cambia stato per 2 secondi quando il dispositivo
rileva che il numero telefonico chiamante è presente all’interno della
memoria.

2. Alimentare il Gatel-1
Connettere l’alimentatore al Gatel-1 (morsetto A), dopo circa 40
secondi l’unità è pronta a funzionare. Durante questo lasso di tempo il
Gatel-1 non risponderà ad eventuali comandi impartiti dall’utente.
3. Configurazione della tastiera wireless
Per configurare la tastiera wireless fornita con il Gatel-1 è
sufficiente premere il tasto LEARN e quindi premere un tasto qualsiasi
sulla tastiera wireless.
4. Programmare i numeri telefonici attraverso la tastiera wireless
Per essere certi che la tastiera wireless sia correttamente
configurata premere uno qualsiasi dei tasti; il LED “LEARN” lampeggerà.
Per configurare i numeri telefonici in memoria premere il tasto
“PROGRAM”, verranno emessi due beep. A questo punto è possibile
inserire un nuovo numero telefonico.
Per inserire un numero viene utilizzata questa sintassi:
Posizione in memoria + Prefisso Nazionale + Numero di telefono + #
Esempio (per l’Italia): Poniamo di voler inserire nella posizione di memoria
N. 1 il numero 320123123123, si digiteranno sulla tastiera remota le
seguenti cifre:
001 39 320123123#
Per inserire il numero telefonico 320 123123123 nella posizione di
memoria M. 150 si digiteranno le seguenti cifre:
150 39 320123123#
Durante la digitazione di ogni singola cifra si sentirà un beep a conferma
della ricezione della cifra digitata.
Quando viene premuto il tasto # si sentiranno 2 beep a conferma della
ricezione dell’intero numero.
5. Cancellazione di un numero presente in memoria
Per eliminare un numero dalla memoria del Gatel-1 premere il
tasto PROGRAM, si sentiranno due beep.
L’eliminazione di un numero avviene conoscendo la posizione di quel
numero in memoria ed utilizzando la seguente sintassi:

Esempio: per eliminare il numero telefonico registrato nella posizione di
memoria 1 si digiteranno le seguenti cifre:
001#
Per eliminare il numero telefonico registrato nella posizione di memoria
150 si digiteranno le seguenti cifre:
150#
6. Eliminare tutti i numeri presenti in memoria
Per cancellare il contenuto di tutta la memoria del Gatel-1
procedere come segue:
A)Spegnere il Gatel-1 togliendo l’alimentazione
B)Premere e lasciare premuto il tasto “PROGRAM”
C)Accendere il Gatel-1 fornendo alimentazione
D)Attendere, sempre lasciando premuto il tasto “PROGRAM” 20
secondi.
A questo punto i numeri telefonici presenti in memoria saranno stati
cancellati e sarà possibile procedere ad una nuova programmazione.
7. Controllo remoto del Relé
Per azionare da remoto il relé del Gatel-1 è sufficiente chiamare il
numero telefonico della scheda SIM inserita all’interno da un telefono il cui
numero è stato memorizzato all’interno della memoria del Gatel-1
Il Gatel-1 eseguirà un controllo e azionerà il relé per 2 secondi. Quindi
verrà interrotta la chiamata.
Nota: se il telefono chiamante ha l’ID nascosto (non appare il numero del
chiamante) il Gatel-1 non potrà eseguire alcun controllo e il relé non verrà
azionato.
E’ possibile tenere nota dei numeri memorizzati e delle posizioni
utilizzando l’ultima pagina di questo manuale. Se si prevede di utilizzare
più di 40 posizioni è necessario fare foto-copia di tale pagina.

1. To Start
Remove the plastic bracket that cover the terminal blocks, Leds
and function buttons. You will see:
A - POWER+: 12 Vdc. Power input to the Gatel-1
B - PWR: Power led which lights once power is applied.
C - GSM_RUN: This led will flash when GSM field is present, led “OFF”
indicate GSM communication field not present.
D - LEARN: This led will light when the Gatel-1 memorizes. A new
telephone number.
E - PROGRAMMING BUTTON: By pressing this button 2 beeps will be
heard. This indicates that the unit is ready to memorize new telephone
numbers.
F - LEARN BUTTON: To have the Gatel-1 learn the keypad code, you
must first press this button and then press any button on the wireless
keypad.
G - RELAY: This is the Gatel-1 dry contact output relay that will change
state once the unit is triggered.
2. Powering up the Gatel-1:
To start you must connect the power 12Vdc. to the power input
termials (A) and after 40 second the unit will be ready to start functioning.
During these 40 seconds, the Gatel-1 will not respond to any other
command.

3. Digital keypad configuration
Have the Gatel-1 learn the transmission code of the wireless
digital transmitter (supplied with the unit) by pressing the (button learn D)
followed by pressing any of the keys on the digital keypad. Now the
keypad has been configured to function with the Gatel-1 unit. To eliminate
this function, you must press the (learn button D) for 8 seconds.
4. Memorizing the telephone numbers with the wireless keypad
To be sure that the keypad has been correctly configured with the
Gatel-1, press any key on the keypad the LED
(learn D) will flash. This indicate that you may proceed to memorize the
telephone numbers by pressing the (program
button E). You will hear 2 beeps. Now proceed to memorize the telephone
numbers by following the below format.
Memory position + Country Code + Telephone number + #
Example (for Italy): If I wish to insert in position N. 1 the tel. number
320123123123, on the wireless key pad I must press the following digits:
001 39 320123123 #
To insert the tel. number 320 123123123 in the memory position 150, you
must press the following digits.
150 39 320123123 #
Everytime a digiti is pressed, a beep will be emitted by the Gatel-1 to
confirm reception and when you press the key # 2 beeps will confirm
reception of the entire number.
5. To cancel a memorized telephone number
To cancel a tel. number in the Gatel-1 memory, press the
(program button E), 2 beeps will be heard and after which you must follow
the below format.

Example: If I must cancel the number memorized in position 001, I must
press on the wireless keypad the following:
001 #
To cancel the number memorize in the position 150, press:
150 #
6. How to reset the Gatel-1 memory
To reset the Gatel-1 memory bank proceed as follows:
A) Remove all power to the unit
B) Press the (progam button E) continuously
C) Power up the Gatel-1
D) Wait 20 seconds keeping button (E) pressed
At this point all programmed tel. numbers have been cancel and the
Gatel-1 memroy bank has been cleared and maybe reprogrammed.
7. To trigger the Gatel-1 relay
To trigger the Gatel-1 relay, you must simply call the telephone
number of the SIM card included in the unit and if the calling telephone
number is found in the memory bank of the Gatel-1, it will automaticly
trigger the relay (changing its state) for 2 seconds, after which the call will
be cancelled.
IMPORTANT: If the calling telephone ha has a hidden ID, the Gatel-1 can
not recognize the calling number and therefore can not trigger the output
relay.
