Parmi toutes les vedettes à fly-bridge « décapotables » de luxe
que nous avons produites dans nos vingt-six ans d’existence, nous
sommes particulièrement fiers du modèle 58 à fly-bridge fermé.
Non seulement est-il le résultat de technologies de conception et de
fabrication de pointe, mais sa structure, ses caractéristiques et ses
options permettent de recevoir des invités ou de se reposer dans un
espace d’un confort inégalé.
La vedette à fly-bridge fermé 58 a été entièrement conçue à l’aide de
logiciels de PAO et de fabrication les plus modernes, qui permettent
de guider la détoureuse robotique pour produire un moule - puis
une carène, un pont et un fly-bridge - fidèles à la conception
d’origine. Des essais poussés en bassin puis sur eau ont démontré les
performances supérieures ainsi obtenues.
De nombreux autres éléments participent à la mobilité et à la
stabilité du modèle 58. Par exemple, Frank Mulder, le célèbre
architecte naval, a imaginé une surface de flottaison comprenant
des tunnels de propulsion qui offrent encore plus de poussée, une
meilleure utilisation du carburant et un confort plus stable. Le
modèle 58 comprend également un système de gaz immergé de une
nouvelle génération propre et silencieux.
L’intérieur est tout aussi innovant. Il comprend un escalier interne

created in our twenty-seven year history, we are
especially proud of our 58 Enclosed model. Not
only is it the result of leading edge design and
manufacturing technology, but the layout, features
and fittings cater for easy entertaining and a relaxed
lifestyle like never before. The 58 is unlike any
Flybridge Cruiser we have ever built.
Australia is blessed with a climate that promotes
al fresco dining and our entertaining - although
often lavish - is generally easy-going and informal.
This is reflected in contemporary Australian
architecture with huge sliding doors and windows
that create a seamless flow between inside and out.
Kitchens are often positioned to cater to both areas
with equal ease.
These principles are very evident in the design of the
58. While it is quintessentially Australian, the design
is far from parochial: Riviera’s international appeal
stems from having an international outlook, and the
European styling of the 58 is very apparent.
Yes, our boating traditions continue to play a part
in our interior design but in the 58 these blend
elegantly with the ambience of a modern city
apartment.
Australia is also the world’s only island continent and
there is a lot more to our boating life than graceful
tours of the harbour around the Sydney Opera
House. We are flanked by three fierce oceans and two
challenging seas and this has spawned a standard of
boat building that inspires confidence. As one of the
largest builders of Flybridge Convertibles in the world,
Riviera goes further when it comes to the integrity
of both our build quality and the integrity of our
support for Riviera owners the world over.
Build quality is especially important with an
enclosed flybridge model because such a vessel is
clearly designed to go further, to fish beyond the
continental shelf, to explore distant shores. With the
58 Enclosed Flybridge you can do this with absolute
confidence, impeccable style and in the greatest of
comfort.
The superb underwater profile of the 58 reveals Riviera’s latest thinking
in terms of design and specification. Trim Tabs, stern thruster, under
water exhausts, propeller tunnels, new shaft bracket design, larger
diameter shafts, Veem propellers and Riviera’s galvanic corrosion
protection system, combine to deliver the ultimate performance and
handling.
1. The enormous cockpit is designed to include toe-kicks around
the coaming.

insulated icebox under the saloon door step.
3. Hawse hole on the stern quarters of the coaming provides easy
access for mooring lines and minimises fishing obstructions.

EXPECTATIONS
The light, bright feel of the saloon and the use of
contemporary materials flows below decks into the
staterooms and guest cabin. Fixed port lights in the
hull contribute to the light and airy feeling in the
accommodation space.
Step into the owners’ stateroom and you’ll find
a walk-around bed with a queen size innerspring
mattress. There is also plentiful cupboard and storage
space (as befitting a long-range cruiser) and subtle
touches like the cedar lining to the hanging lockers
add to the sense of luxury and good taste. For your
entertainment there is a flat screen television and
DVD player.
The en-suite and second bathrooms are very
contemporary in their design. The above bench sinks
and solid surface bench-tops are contemporary, stylish
and easy to clean. Fittings such as mixer taps and
chrome showerheads are all from leading brands and,
as in the galley, the flooring is extremely practical yet
stylish Amtico.
The second stateroom also features a queen size bed
and many of the luxury appointments of the owners’
suite including an LCD television and DVD player. Even
the guest cabin, with its two-bunk configuration,
offers a high level of comfort and considerable
cupboard and drawer space.
To cater for extended voyages there is a concealed
laundry with a leading brand washer-dryer in a
cupboard off the companionway.
Throughout the 58, you will see the finest timberwork
we have ever crafted. The finish is particularly
noteworthy and it is the result of our new robotic
varnishing facility, the most advanced in Australia. The
surfaces are mirror-like.
To help personalise your boat, we offer a choice of
teak or cherry wood with a gloss finish.
With the Riviera 58 Enclosed Flybridge there is no
doubt that you will rest immensely satisfied with your
choice of vessel because of her design and luxury

FEELING GOOD INSIDE
AND OUT
One of the most notable features of the interior is an
internal stairway between the saloon and the flybridge.
This design feature enhances socialising because of the
access between the two areas and, in less favourable
weather, the internal access will be most welcome.
The internal, electric opening door that divides the
saloon and flybridge provides additional onboard
security and safety.
The flybridge itself is the epitome of Riviera quality
with its large lounge, extension table, teak floor and
optional sunroof. You’ll also find a wet bar and fridge,
glass racks, plenty of storage and other convenient
features. And the helm is nothing short of sensational,
with adjustable, leather Pompanette helm-chairs
and an ultra-modern console. Sit back and enjoy!
The vision and sense of control is magnificent.
Equally inspiring is the cockpit. Not only is it
generously proportioned, it has been designed to
enhance the 58’s fishing capabilities while providing
greater comfort for superior entertaining. It features
the largest volume cool box of all our models, there’s
an insulated icebox, floor storage bins plus large
storage with bait tank option in the transom.
The flow between the cockpit and saloon is delightful.
For lazy days and fun filled times it is an idyllic
arrangement with a stainless steel framed rear window
to open up the full potential of the area.
Positioning the galley next to the door, aft in the
saloon, makes catering a breeze. People can help
themselves more readily and the chef is totally
involved in the party. It is a particularly well-equipped
and substantial galley too, with everything from solid
surface bench tops and a double bowl sink to dual
fridges and stylish, non-slip Amtico flooring.
Locating the galley aft has helped create a huge,
light-filled saloon… and a saloon brimming with
ingenious features and quality inclusions such as a
32” LCD TV, Bose Lifestyle surround sound system, rod
storage in the headliner, the deepest leather lounge, an
extendable dining table, an icemaker, and so on. In fact,
everything to help you relax and indulge Riviera style.

Il Flybridge 58 cabinato è stato interamente disegnato usando il
