capaci di soddisfare i gusti degli appassionati delle più disparate tecniche di pesca
The area of the LAG Barbagia Mandrolisai Gennargentu Supramonte houses a wide range of aquatic environments
such as lakes and streams that potentially
should satisfy the needs of sport fishing
lovers, able to practice a variety of fishing
techniques and enjoy such diversity of fish
species, usually found in inland waters.
Lakes hold a variety of fish species and
have different morphologies. Whether
using a carp-fishing or a different ledgering techniques, they are extraordinary
locations for trout fishing enthusiasts:
an unspoiled setting, with sloping greenery bottoms, deeper rocky areas, perfect
for spinning or float fishing alike, crystal
clear streams filled with trouts.

Il progetto di cooperazione transnazionale
“ABBAS-Sport Fishing Tourism” è coordinato dal GAL Distretto Rurale BMGS,
in partenariato con il GAL Logudoro-Goceano, il GAL Sarcidano Barbagia di Seulo, il Consorzio BIM Taloro, il Consorzio
Turistico dei Laghi, il GAL Karhuseutu
(Finlandia), il GAL Leader Mittskane
(Svezia) ed il GAL Leader Skånes Ess
(Svezia).
L’iniziativa coinvolge 72 comuni sardi e
intende raggiungere gli obiettivi specifici
di sviluppo e promozione di un turismo
legato alla pesca sportiva, creazione di
sinergie tra operatori pubblici e privati,
sviluppo di una nuova imprenditorialità,
scambio di buone prassi, idee ed esperienze in materia di strategie di valorizza-

L’idea progetto nasce dalla consapevolezza della mancata valorizzazione delle
acque interne della Sardegna ed il conseguente bisogno di valorizzare le aree
lacuali, per incrementare un turismo naturalistico attivo e di qualità. Il partenariato
con i tre GAL svedesi e finlandesi è fondato su problemi e bisogni comuni, primi fra
tutti il problema inerente alla fragilità del
sistema turistico territoriale
ed il bisogno
di creare una
piattaforma
mirata alla valorizzazione e
alla promozione delle acque
interne tramite
la pesca sportiva e altre attività. Tutti i GAL
coinvolti sono
collocati in Paesi e regioni di grande pregio, ma risentono della concentrazione dei flussi turistici
in aree specifiche diverse da quella di loro
competenza: in Sardegna i flussi turistici
sono concentrati lungo le coste, in Finlandia a Helsinki e nella Regione dei Laghi,
in Svezia a Stoccolma e in Lapponia.
Tra le attività previste rientrano la mappatura delle aree di pesca, una ricerca sulla
fauna ittica dei laghi e fiumi dei tre GAL,
uno studio sulle buone prassi svedesi e
finlandesi, la creazione di cartellonistica
sulla pesca, la realizzazione di siti web
collegati tra loro, di opuscoli e materiale
audio-visivo in lingua italiana, inglese,
finlandese e svedese, la partecipazione a

The project’s idea grows out of the understanding that inland water in Sardinia
are not sufficiently exploited, resulting in
a need to enhance lacustrine areas and
boost quality outdoors tourism.
Driven by mutual problems and needs, the
transnational partnership recognize, first
of all, a fragile local tourism system and
the necessity to
build a platform
aimed at the development and promotion of inland
waters
through
sport-fishing and
other activities.
All LAGs involved
are located in
countries and regions of great value, however they
are affected by the
strong concentration of tourism flows found in other areas:
in Sardinia tourism is mainly seasonal, focused along the cost, in Finland, popular
destinations are Helsinki and the Lake Region, whereas in Sweden, Stockholm and
the Lapland top the list.
Planned activities include a research of
the fish fauna of lakes and rivers of the
three LAGs as well as the mapping of fishing areas; a study on Sweden and Finland
best practices; the organization of three
educational tours (in Finland, Sweden
and Sardinia) and the participation in international tourism fairs; the production
of posters and billboards on fishing; the
creation of interlinked websites, booklets

Il B&B Su Mendulau è situato a Tiana, un
piccolo borgo al centro della Sardegna e
dell’area del GAL BMGS. La posizione
della struttura è ottima e si trova vicino ai
laghi Cucchinadorza, Gusana e Govossai.
Nel territorio di Tiana si trovano, inoltre,
il lago Torrei ed i due fiumi Tino e Torrei.
La struttura collabora con l’ASD di pesca
sportiva non agonistica “Rio Torrei”. La
proprietaria è appassionata di pesca sportiva, attività che pratica nel tempo libero a
livello dilettantistico.
Mendulau Bed & Breakfast is located in
Tiana, a tiny village in the centre of Sardinia, within the area of the LAG BMGS.
The location is great and is closed to Cucchinadorza, Gusana and Govossai lakes.
Torrei lake and Tino and Torrei rivers
are also found in Tiana’s area. The b&b’s
owner is a sport fishing enthusiast, activity that she practices at amateur level.
She also collaborates with “Rio Torrei”
a non-professional sport fishing association.

L’affittacamere è situato a Teti, a pochi
passi dai laghi Benzone e Cucchinadorza,
dove è possibile praticare la pesca sportiva e altre attività escursionistiche e all’aria aperta. La struttura si trova nel vecchio
rione storico di “Funtanedda”, in un immobile di recente ristrutturazione con caratteristiche tipiche delle antiche case barbaricine ed è composta da tre camera da
letto doppie/triple con bagno in camera, di
cui una accessibile alle persone disabili.
