Learning mobility is increasingly perceived and more and more adopted as an effective measure to involve NEETs in practical experiences abroad. Learning mobility is an integral element of many youth programmes promoting empowerment via non-formal and informal education activities. Learning mobility is integrated within measures supporting the implementation of the Youth Guarantee. The conference offers a unique opportunity to decision makers and practitioners to meet each other, discuss around successful initiatives and fine tune new programmes. The conference promotes synergies and exchange of experiences between educational providers active in different sectors (VET, HE and Non formal Education) and among decision makers with different portfolios (Youth, Employment, Education). Not only in terms of safety and health, but also in terms of expectations, preparation and what the students can/will achieve in terms of competences and how they will be supervised and evaluated. The workshop is built up from two points of view of quality Assurance in mobility: “micro” quality in the context of quality in mobility at operational/ implementation level and the “macro” quality in the context of the quality of the Erasmus+ programme as such. The first session of the workshop offers an overview of the tools developed by Europemobility Network to support quality at micro level while within the second session participants have the opportunity to formulate comments and recommendations to the European Commission on critical aspects and on solutions to improve the implementation of Erasmus+. Enhancing entrepreneurship and providing support measures to potential start-up entrepreneurs and newly-established micro and small enterprises is a clear priority at European level. In 2009 the European Commission, DG Enterprise and Industry, launched Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, a business exchange programme aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills of new European entrepreneurs by shadowing experienced entrepreneurs in a different country. While celebrating the fifth anniversary, the workshop presents the benefits of the programme, its operational structure and the outcomes achieved. Inactivity and the decrease in youth employment are particularly severe for lesseducated young workers. In 2012 the European Commission, DG Employment, launched “Your first EURES job”, a labour mobility scheme targeted to young people aged between 18-30, aimed at promoting labour mobility and exploiting the potential of unfulfilled job vacancies in Europe. The ultimate objective of the programme is maing the search of a work placement in another Member State as easy as searching in one's own country. Employment centres together with other stakeholders, including educational providers, are expected to cooperate in the perspective of supporting companies and SMEs in particular in recruiting from outside their home country, through the provision of information, recruitment, job matching and financial support. The workshop offers the opportunity to exchange views and experiences on making European Labour Market a reality.
