The Suite will take place in the Quintessentially Terrace right in the heart of the
Venice Film Festival from 2 September ~ 12 September, 2009.

Background
For more than 70 years the end of summer has marked the transformation of the island of Lido Venice into the world’s cinema capital. Described as “the definitive test” for any director, the
Venice Film Festival, known as La Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica, has consecrated
cinema as a true art form, etching important chapters in its history and expanding recognition
around the world.
The Venice Film Festival remains a point of reference for all other international film festivals,
discovering and launching hundreds of directors, industry trends, foreign film projects, and careers
of celebrated “divas” and “maestros” in cinematographic culture.
La Biennale di Venezia is the internationally recognised cultural foundation responsible for the
creation, production and promotion of the festival, as well as many other internationally important
cultural events during the year.
The Venice Film Festival now includes over 2,700 press attendees from the most influential and
respected global publications.

Our partnership with La Biennale di Venezia
In 2006 at the official request of La Biennale di Venezia, one of the most
prestigious and renowned cultural foundations in the world, the first Venice Film
Terrace operation was established. The purpose was to bring glamour,
sophistication, and VIP entertainment to the festival.
This partnership was realised in the Mediterranean Terrace, situated at the foot
of the Red Carpet and in front of the Casino Palace. Through the partnership
the terrace is recognised as the only official location of la Biennale di Venezia,
making it the preferred choice for parties, lunches, dinners, press conferences
and of course, the stars….

Terrace format
• The terrace is the central location for daily activities, press conferences, lunches,
cocktails, film presentations and the ultimate party and event scene in Venice during
the festival.
• It is celebrated as an official sponsor of the Festival, proudly occupying a prominent
location in the heart of the activity.
• The terrace possesses a vast space for venue installation providing an
immense waterfront welcoming location for all festival-goers and attendees.
• The terrace structure is designed a movable transformable space, allowing individual
and private areas or wide open spaces seating 300 people and cocktails for up to 500.
