Bando di concorso Toy Designer
PERSONALIZZA la tua TOY LAMP
Art. 1 – L’associazione Culturale Mastronauta e il Kidult Lab Ludiko bandisce, in occasione dell’evento Pups In Town, un Concorso per
la personalizzazione di una ToyLamp.
Art. 2 - Il concorso si svolgerà la sera di Venerdì 17 Ottobre ed è aperto a tutti. La partecipazione al concorso è gratuita.
Art. 3
Ogni artista potrà realizzare la sua opera intervenendo su una IDOLL light bianca (misura 36x36cm).
L’opera dovrà ispirarsi al testo guida della prima MANI-FESTA-AZIONE PUPSIANA :
“un esercito di Spiriti Pupsiani e di Mutanti armati di Colore e Fantasia invade la città per diffondere spontaneità e rianimare l’inanimato
a colpi di Pop Bum Bum. Il loro credo unico e multiplo è il Gioco libero -– elemento originario del mondo e esperienza libera collettiva
e universale di adesione, espressione…e relazione . Combattono Perfezione e distrazione, Non Battono le mani -meglio una coccola
silenziosa”
Art. 4 Per partecipare al concorso bisogna presentare un bozzetto che illustri il soggetto che si vorrà realizzare. La tecnica di
realizzazione del bozzetto è libera. E' possibile presentare anche più di un bozzetto per la selezione finale.
Art. 5 Ogni bozzetto elaborato, dovrà recare nome, indirizzo, indirizzo email e recapito telefonico dell'autore (nel caso di lavori di gruppo
il nome, l'indirizzo e il recapito telefonico di tutti i componenti del gruppo). Dovrà anche essere indicato il numero di spray o colori
acrilici richiesto e relativi colori.
I bozzetti dovranno essere inviati come immagine .jpg all’indirizzo [email protected] indicando nell’oggetto TOYLAMP entro non oltre il 15
Settembre 2008.
Art. 6 - Le opere in concorso verranno valutate da una giuria composta da esperti e personalità del settore artistico.
Art. 7 - Tra tutti i bozzetti pervenuti la giuria provvederà a sceglierne 20. I relativi autori avranno la possibilità e si impegnano,
partecipando a questo concorso, a realizzare la sera di Venerdì 17 Ottobre 2008 l’opera rappresentata dal bozzetto durante un live
show presso il Forum di Omegna.
La giuria avrà diritto di decisione finale su tutto quanto non specificato in questo regolamento. La decisione della giuria sarà
inappellabile.
L'esito della selezione della giuria verrà comunicato solamente ai vincitori selezionati come finalisti.
I Risultati della selezione, così come tutte le altre fasi del concorso, saranno consultabili sul sito Internet www.pups.it/pupsintown
nella sezione dedicata al concorso. La proclamazione del vincitore avverrà Sabato 18 ottobre 2008.
Art. 8 Al fine della realizzazione delle opere verrà fornito agli autori finalisti il materiale necessario, in particolare colori acrilici, pennarelli
e materiale adeguato.
Art. 9 - I concorrenti si impegnano a non pretendere compensi di sorta per la realizzazione delle opere definitive.
Ogni concorrente riceverà in omaggio un MiniIdoll a sua scelta.
I premi delle 3 opere vincitrici sono:
primo classificato: 1 lampada +1 coperta Pupz+ 1 maglia Idoll
secondo classificato: 1 lampada + 1 Boris pillowpuppet + maglia Idoll
terzo classificato: 1 lampada + 1 maglia Idoll
Art. 10 –L’ Amministrazione Comunale, l’Associazione Culturale Mastronauta e il Kidult Lab Ludiko devono ritenersi sollevati da
qualsivoglia evento relativo ad infortuni e danni a cose che dovessero verificarsi per tutta la durata dell'iniziativa del concorso.
Toy Designer Contest Notification
Personalize your Toy Lamp
Art. 1 – Cultural Association “Mastronauta” and the Ludiko Kidul Lab, in occasion of the Pups
In Town event, are organising a contest where you can personalize your ToyLamp.
Art. 2 – The contest will hold place on Friday 17th October during the evening, is open to
everybody and is without charge.
Art. 3 – Each artist may create its own personal work by modifying and changing a white
IDOLL light lamp (36x36cm). The work has to be ispired by the first PUPS
MANY-F(E)AST-ATION: “an army of Pups Spirits and Mutants armed with Colour and
Fantasy envades the city to spread freshness and to ReAnimate the inanimated with Pop
Bum Bum beats. Their only and multiple belief is Free Play – the original element of the world
and the free group and universal experience of partecipation, expression … and relation.
They fight Perfection and Distraction, they don’t clap their hand – better to cuddle silently”.
Art. 4 – To partecipate at this contest one has to present a sketch that illustrates the subject
that one wants to create. The technique of the sketch is completely free. It is possible to
present more than one sketch for the final selection.
Art. 5 – Every sketch has to have name, address, email address and phone number of the
artist (in case of group sketch: name, address and phone number of all group components).
Also, the number of sprays or acrylics and other colours have to be indicated.
The sketches have to be sent in .jpg format to [email protected] and put TOYLAMP as mail
subject before midnight of 15th September 2008.
Art. 6 – The jury of the contest is made out of experts and professionals of the Art sector.
Art. 7 – The jury will pick 20 sketches. The creators have hence the possibility and are
commited, through the partecipation to this contest, to create the work on the sketch during a
live show on Friday 17th October at the Forum of Omegna.
The jury has the right for the final decision about all that is not specified in this contest
regolation and its decision is unquestionable.
The jury’s result will be communicated solely to the finalists.
The selection results, just as all the other steps of the contest, can be found on
www.pups.it/pupsintown in the section dedicated to the contest. The winner will be
announced on Saturday 18th October 2008.
Art. 8 – In order to complete the creation, the selected partecipants will be provided with the
necessary tools, i.e. acrylics, drawing pens and other appropriate material.
Art. 9 – The contestants will not demand any kind of reimbursement for their final creation.
Each contestant will receive a free Minidoll of his/her choice.
The prizes for the 3 winning creations are:
first place: 1 lamp + 1 PupZ blanket + 1 Idoll sweater
second place:
1 lamp + 1 Boris pillow puppet + 1 Idoll sweater
third place: 1 lamp + 1 Idoll sweater
Art. 10 – The City Amministration, the Cultural Association “Mastronauta” and the Ludiko
Kidult Lab are to be considered free of any responsibility in case of injury or damage
occurring during the entire evening of the event.
