DIREZIONE GENERALE AREA RELAZIONI INTERNAZIONALI, RICERCA E TRASFERIMENTO TECNOLOGICO SERVIZIO FORMAZIONE ALLA RICERCA GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FELLOWSHIPS These General Terms and Conditions apply to all the students enrolled in a Doctoral Course who benefit from a scholarship awarded by the University. Enrolled doctoral students and scholarship recipients assume responsibility for complying with the following provisions. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in exclusion from the course and/or termination of the award and recovery of scholarship funds. Possible changes to the General Terms and Conditions will be communicated at the enrolment. The enrolment will be effective by submission of the completed and signed enrolment form. By completing the enrolment form, the winner declares that he/she is aware that: - during the enrolment in the Doctoral Course s/he is not allowed to enrol in any of the following University courses in Italy or abroad: “Laurea”, “Laurea specialistica/magistrale”, “Master”, “Scuola di specializzazione” or any other doctoral programme; - s/he has to ask the Council of the Course for the permission to carry out activities external to the doctoral programme or to continue work activities since the enrolment into the Doctoral Course; - s/he has not already received a scholarship in Italy in the past for other Doctoral programmes; students who have already benefited from a scholarship for a doctoral programme in Italy cannot apply a second time; - s/he will not accept any additional scholarship except those offered by national or foreign institutions aimed at integrating the Doctoral student’s research abroad; - in order to benefit from the scholarship s/he must not have a personal income exceeding € 13.638,47 per year. S/He commits her/himself to communicate promptly a possible exceeding of the limit of income; exceeding the limit of income will result in the loss of the scholarship for that year and implies the duty to return the monthly payments already received; - s/he commits her/himself to paying back the scholarship received during the year if the student’s income exceeds the limit.
