laser works by treating
sequentially, one after the
others, microskin portions.
It is a CO2 laser with a
wavelength of 10600nm that
emits a series of micro rays of
luminous energy into the skin,
that by penetrating through
the epidermis directly into the
dermis, cause micro areas of
thermal damage alternated
with columns of intact tissue.

The laser functions by
emitting luminous energy that
passes through the skin and
is mainly absorbed by water
fond in the tissues. The lase
light stimulates fibroblasts to
produce new collagen and
elastin replacing old fibres.
The laser removes very
thin layers of skin in order
to decrease the visibility of
wrinkles and of other beauty
flaws. The older and damaged
collagen is replaced with new
and regenerating skin. During
cutaneous regeneration, skin
becomes smoother and softer.
