Operating Instructions Manual - ver.:1.1 Engine Digital Control controls and protects diesel engine. The device features 8 LED, 2 buttons, a key and 5 relay output. Engine Digital Control manages oil pressure alarm, temperature alarm, fuel alarm, emergency stop and battery charge alarm. Engine Digital Control permits normal manual star with the key or an automatic mode, by using an external command. As “engine running” LED starts to flash, turn the key to position "start", hold it till the engine stars and “engine running” LED is steady lighted. If you do not turn the key within 15 seconds, "alarm" and "elettro stop" activate and "fuel valve" disactivate. D. to stop the engine, turn the key counter-clockwise till "off" position, press "stop" button or activate "emergency" input (#5). Low fuel level (input #6): "low fuel level" LED flashes and "alarm" outout (#2) is activated. After 5 minutes, if there is no manual intervention , the device stops the engine and "low fuel level" remains lighted. After refueling, you must first turn the key back to "off" in order to re-start the engine. Low oil pressure (input #3): related LED lights up and the device stops the engine and activates "alarm" output (#2). After refilling, you must first turn the key back to "off" in order to re-start the engine. High temperature (input #4): “high temperature” LED lights up, the device stops the engine and activates "alarm" output (#2). You must first turn the key back to "off" in order to re-start the engine. ver.: 1.1 2 EN0534-C Auto start: A. turn the key clockwise until the first position "preheat"; all LEDs light up for test; B. “Low oil pressure” and “preheat” LEDs light up; “preheat” LED stays lighted for a set time (from 10 to 50 seconds; set with the rear trimmer); C. Press “auto” button: “auto” LED starts flashing; as “remote start” is activated, the device makes 4 startup tries: 1. 4 seconds “start” #12 and “fuel” #9 are activated, 2. 3 seconds the device checks wheter the engine is running (oil pressure ok), 3. if engine is not running, it is stopped. Then starts the next try. If after 4 tries the engine is still not running, the "alarm" output #2 and "electric stop" #10 are activated, and "fuel" is deactivated. E. to stop the engine, turn the key counter-clockwise till "off" position, press "stop" button or activate "emergency" input (#5). If “remote start” input #7 is deactivated, the device stops the engine by activating "electric stop" output #10 and by deactivating "fuel" output #9; it then waits that “remote start” (#7) is reactivated: at this point it repeats the auto start procedure. High temperature (input #4): the device stops the engine by activating "electric stop" output #10 and by deactivating "fuel" output #9; it then waits that temperature alarm goes off: at this point it repeats the auto start procedure. low fuel alarm (input #6): the device waits 5 minutes; then, if there is no manual intervention, It stops the engine by activating "electric stop" output #10 and by deactivating "fuel" output #9. Low oil pressure (input #3): the device stops the engine by activating "electric stop" output #10 and by deactivating "fuel" output #9. AUTO EN0534-C 3 versione 1.1 LEDs and errors resume the LED lights during preheating cycle. PREHEAT STOP AUTO ENGINE RUNNING the LED flashes indicating engine is stopping; the LED lights up when engine has been stopped by pressing of "stop" button or by emergency input. the LED falshes indicating that the device waits for an external start command; it then remains lighted when the engine is running. the LED flashes for 15 seconds indicating it waits a start command. the LED remains lighted when engine is running. indicates low oil pressure; indicates high temperature: manual start: engine is stopped; automatic start: engine is stopped; when temperature alarm goes off the engine is restarted; battery charge failure; low fuel lever.
