At the Gasthof Schorn you will breathe in
history! In the 13th century this was a hunting lodge
of the Gartenau palace in St. Leonhard. In 1612,
innkeeper Hans Schorn acquired the property and
named it “Schornwirt”, as it is still known today.
Since 1880 it has been in the hands of the Ziegler
family – and this is something of which we are very
proud. The hotel has been modernized and rebuilt
over the course of the centuries but the historic
structure has been preserved. The resulting one-ofa-kind atmosphere can be felt everywhere and is
one of the Gasthof Schorn’s special qualities. Most
likely because of our history, we are innkeepers with
passion. The hotel managers pitch in and, together
with our valued team, it is our personal desire to
pamper you.

Al Gasthof Schorn la storia si respira!
Già nel XIII secolo il locale era una locanda di cacciatori e apparteneva ai possedimenti del Castello
Gartenau a St. Leonhard. Nel 1612 Hans Schorn ne
diviene il proprietario e le dà il nome di “Schornwirt”, che ha continuato a trasmettersi fino ad oggi.
Dal 1880 la locanda viene acquistata dagli Ziegler
a cui appartiene ancora e di cui la famiglia è molto orgogliosa. Nel corso degli anni la casa viene
continuamente ristrutturata e modernizzata senza
perdere comunque l’originale struttura architettonica.
La particolare atmosfera che si respira è una caratteristica che fa del “Gasthof Schorn” un posto
estremamente accogliente. Grazie alla nostra storia
familiare siamo osti per passione. Insieme al nostro
staff di collaboratori ci diamo continuamente da
fare e ci sta a cuore che i nostri ospiti si trovino

Im Gasthof Schorn atmen Sie Geschichte!
Als Jägerwirtshaus gehörte er im 13. Jahrhundert
zum Schloss Gartenau in St. Leonhard. 1612 erwarb
ihn der Gastwirt Hans Schorn und nannte ihn fortan
„Schornwirt“, wie man ihn auch heute noch nennt.
Seit 1880 ist er im Besitz unserer Familie Ziegler –
darauf sind wir sehr stolz. Das Haus wurde im Laufe
der Jahrhunderte immer wieder modernisiert und
umgebaut, die historische Bausubstanz aber wurde geschickt bewahrt. Die dadurch entstandene
einzigartige Atmosphäre ist überall spürbar und
gehört zu den Besonderheiten des Gasthof Schorn.
