Detailed requirements and additional information 2.1. Recommended language skills The sending institution, following the agreement with our institution, is responsible for providing support to its nominated candidates so that they can have the recommended language skills at the start of the study or teaching period. Nomination Deadlines for Partner Universities Applications/information on students nominated must reach our institution by: Autumn term May – to be confirmed by official mail to Partner Universities year by year Spring term November - to be confirmed by official mail to Partner Universities year by year 2.3.2. Nomination Within 4 weeks from the nomination deadline, the University of Trieste will send an e-mail directly to the students with important information on enrollment procedures, housing services and similar issues. 2.3.3. Transcripts of Records The receiving institution commits to provide the sending institution and the student with a Transcript of Records within a period not longer than five weeks after publication/proclamation of the student’s results at the receiving institution. 2.3.4. Termination of Agreement Any unilateral or bilateral decision to discontinue or modify the exchanges will be notified to the other party by 1 September 20XX and it will only take effect as of 1 September 20XX+1. 3. Additional information 4.1. Grading system In the Italian system, for all programmes/modules the passing grade is 18/30 and the top grade is 30/30. All grades below 18/30 are failing grades More information at this web page link :http://www2.units.it/internationalia/it/policy/ According to the Italian Ministerial Decree nr. 270/2004, paragraph 5, 1 CFU credit corresponds to 25 hours of personal workload for the student. The average per-year personal workload for a full time student is conventionally fixed at 60 credits. Insurance According to the requirements of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education, insurance cover is the responsibility of the mobile participant. In cases in which insurance cover is not automatically provided, the University of Trieste will inform and assist mobile participants.
