Why choose them
The cords connect the instrument table to the handpieces and carry all the supplies that the handpieces need to function, including water, air and electricity at various pressures and voltages. Tecnomed Italia has patented a special, intelligent cord with its own micro13 circuit and lubrication indicator. After a handpiece has been used for 15 minutes also not continuous , a green warning LED lights to tell you that you should lubricate the handpiece in order to avoid possible damage. These safety circuits reduce the risk of instrument failure.

Il cordone Safety Handpiece viene collegato al riunito come un cordone standard. L’alimentazione del circuito di controllo è in parallelo all'alimentazione della fibra ottica con un range di 3 ~ 4 VDC (anche con polarità invertita). Il cordone, non
appena viene alimentato, blinka tre volte ed inizia il countdown di 15 minuti. In questo arco di tempo sia che l'operatore lavori consecutivamente per 15 minuti, sia che si interrompa più volte, viene memorizzato solo il tempo effettivo di rotazione
del manipolo. Una volta raggiunti i 15 minuti si accende sulla ghiera del cordone un led verde che indica che è necessario lubrificare il manipolo. Il pulsante “Reset” permette di resettare il cordone ed iniziare un nuovo countdown. Per resettarlo è
necessario azionare brevemente il manipolo e premere "Reset".
The Safety Handpiece cord is fitted to the dental unit as a standard cord. The power supply of the control circuit is in parallel to the power supply of the fiber optic, the range is 3 ~ 4 VDC (even with inverted polarity). As soon as it is powered, the cord

led on the cord ring nut lights on, it means that it’s time to lubricate the handpiece. The “Reset" push allows to reset the cord so that a countdown may start. It is necessary to power on shortly the handpiece and press "Reset".

Il triplice blink è ripetuto ogni volta che si aziona il manipolo.
