UNITA’ CP 800
DESCRIZIONE TECNICA - TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Le unità CP800 sono state progettate e costruite specificatamente per l’attività “Search
and Rescue”, e sono le sole in Italia appositamente dedicate a tali compiti. Esse fanno
parte dell’ammodernamenta catena SAR del Corpo delle Capitanerie di Porto - Guardia
Costiera, e sono in grado di portare soccorso in tempi rapidi anche in condizioni
meteomarine avverse.
The CP800 VITTORIA vessels have been designed and constructed specifically for
“Search and Rescue” operations and are the only ones dedicated specifically to said
tasks in Italy. They form part of the modernized SAR chain of the Harbor Office Coastguards Corps and are capable of promptly providing assistance even in very severe weather conditions at sea.
I battelli sono dotati di sofisticati apparati elettronici per comunicazioni radio e navigazione, hanno elevate capacità di sopravvivenza ad ampia dotazione di mezzi di soccorso per oltre 150 naufraghi (530 nella versione aereoportuale).
L’elevata velocità di risposta su chiamata, l’autonimia e le doti di manovrabilità e tenuta al mare permettono alle motovedette classe CP800 di rispondere appieno alle esigenze di soccorso e cooperazione internazionale SAR in mare aperto.
The boats are fitted with sophisticated electronic equipment for radio communications
and navigation, they have a great capacity for survival and a plentiful array of rescue
equipment for more than 150 shipwreck survivors (530 in the airport version).
Their great speed in responding to a call, their range and their exceptional maneuverability and seaworthiness enable these class CP800 patrol boats to cope admirably with
rescue and international co-operation needs on the open sea.

per motorizzazione, propulsione, disposizioni logistiche ed equipaggiamenti, personalizzate per ciascun Corpo di appartenenza (italiano/estero) accumunate dalle stesse
doti qui descritte.
The Cantiere Navale Vittoria S.p.A. can boast more than 70 vessels built in five versions
differing as concerns the type of engine, propulsion, logistic layout and equipment,
customized for each of the Corps to which they belong (in Italy and abroad), but with
the features described here in common.
Le motovedette classe CP800 VITTORIA sono in grado di raddrizzarsi da sole dalla posizione capovolta, in cui possono trovarsi per un’onda in mare tempestoso o per un
urto. Condotte, scarichi e finestrature sono completamente stagne.
Le motovedette sono inaffondabili, grazie alla elevata compartizione ed al volume di
materiale espanso antro lo scafo.
La disposizione degli impianti e degli apparati è studiata per combinare la praticità di
smontaggio, la facilità di uso e l’assenza di interferenze.
Le dotazioni elettroniche di bordo, per la navigazione e telecomunicazione, sono di
tipo digitale e consentono il collegamento bordo-terra anche per trasmissione dati,
oltre che collegamenti con navi ed aereomobili.
Il sistema propulsivo, che può essere rimosso in brevissimo tempo, consente al battello velocità a pieno carico di oltre 32/40 nodi (secondo la motorizzzione e il tipo di propulsione installato).
Gli impianti di bordo, duplicati e molto robusti, danno garanzia di affidabilità anche in
condizioni meteomarine estreme.
The class CP800 Vittoria patrol boats are capable of straightening themselves alone in
the event of their capsizing due to stormy seas or impact. The piping and drainage
systems and windows are completely watertight.
The patrol boats are unsinkable thanks to a marked degree of compartmentation and
the volume of foam material inside the hull.
The layout of the systems and apparatus has been designed to combine features of
easy dismantling, practical usage and no interference.
The on board electronic equipment for navigation and telecommunications is of the
digital type and enables links from on board to land (even for data transmission) as well
as connections with other ships and aircraft.
The propulsion system, which can be removed very rapidly for repairs, ensures the
boats a speed when fully loaded of more than 32 or 40 knots (depending on the type
of engine and propulsion system installed).
The systems on board are duplicated and very sturdy, guaranteeing their reliability even
in extreme weather conditions at sea.
L’elevatissima robustezza delle strutture e degli impianti é stata provata per ciascuna
unità del superamento dell’IMO Splash down Test dell’altezza di 3.5 metri. Tutti i battelli hanno superato brillantemente la prova, a riprova dell’accuratezza della costruzione.
The very sturdy nature of the structures and systems has been demonstrated for
each vessel by the fact that they all undergo the IMO Splash-down Test from a height
of 3.5 m. All the boats have passed the test with flying colors, which goes to show the
accuracy of their construction.
