VISIT SICILY: AGRIGENTO &VALLEY OF THE TEMPLES
Itinerary to discover Agrigento, beautiful city that retains an extraordinary monumental heritage and landscapes that
include the imposing Doric temples, the agora, the pagan and Christian necropolis and the dense network of
underground aqueducts, the evidence of a long history that began in the sixth century BC with the foundation of the
ancient Greek colony of Akragas. The colour of the temples goes from deep yellow to pink during sunset, a unique and
unforgettable view.
1st day - Milan - Catania – Agrigento
Departure from Milan "Linate" airport at 06:55 and arrival at the international "Vincenzo Bellini" airport of Catania at
08:45. Airport assistance and transfer by minibus or bus to a charming property in the heart of Sicily in Agrigento.
Check-in at the hotel. Relax at the property. Dinner with typical Sicilian products. After dinner, visit of the Kolymbetra,
the wonderful garden that runs along the Valley of the Temples. Return to the hotel and overnight.
2nd day - Agrigento
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit of the spectacular Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO world heritage site
where among the almond trees we can admire the remains of the ancient Akragas that Pindar defined as "the most
beautiful city built by mortals". Here you can admire the Temple of Juno, the Temple of Concord and the Temple of
Hercules. Lunch with street food at a downtown cafe. In the afternoon, visit of Agrigento. Return to the hotel and
relax at the property. Dinner. After dinner, panoramic tour of the Valley of the Temples by night. Return to the hotel.
Overnight.
3rd day - Agrigento – Catania - Milan
Breakfast at the hotel. Relax at the property. Transfer to the international "Vincenzo Bellini" airport of Catania. Lunch
with street food along the way. Arrival and presentation to the check-in counters. Boarding formalities. Departure for
Milan at 20:30. Arrival in Milan at 22:30 and end of our services.

Itinerario alla scoperta di Agrigento, splendida città che conserva uno straordinario patrimonio monumentale e
paesaggistico che racchiude gli imponenti templi dorici, le agorà, le necropoli pagane e cristiane e la fitta rete di
acquedotti sotterranei, testimonianze di una storia millenaria iniziata nel VI secolo a.C. con la fondazione dell’antica
colonia greca di Akragas. Il colore dei templi passa dal giallo intenso al rosa durante il tramonto, uno spettacolo unico
e indimenticabile.
1° giorno – Milano – Catania - Agrigento
Partenza dall’aeroporto di Milano “Linate” alle ore 06:55 e arrivo presso l’aeroporto internazionale “Vincenzo Bellini”
di Catania alle ore 08:45. Assistenza aeroportuale e trasferimento in minibus o bus presso incantevole struttura nel
cuore della Sicilia ad Agrigento. Arrivo e sistemazione in hotel. Relax presso la struttura. Cena a base dei tipici prodotti
dell’agrigentino. Dopo cena, visita della Kolymbethra, il meraviglioso giardino che costeggia la Valle dei Templi. Rientro
in hotel e pernottamento.
2° giorno - Agrigento
Prima colazione in hotel. In mattinata, visita della spettacolare Valle dei Templi dichiarata dall’UNESCO patrimonio
mondiale dell’umanità dove tra i mandorli sorgono i resti dell’antica Akragas definita da Pindaro “la più bella città
costruita dai mortali”. Si potranno ammirare il Tempio di Giunone, il tempio della Concordia e il Tempio di Ercole.
Pranzo a base di street food presso storico caffè del centro. Nel pomeriggio, passeggiata nel centro storico di
Agrigento. Rientro in hotel e relax presso la struttura. Cena. Dopo cena, giro panoramico della Valle dei Templi by
night. Rientro in hotel. Pernottamento.
3° giorno - Agrigento
Prima colazione in hotel. Relax presso la struttura. Trasferimento presso l’aeroporto internazionale “Vincenzo Bellini”
di Catania. Pranzo lungo il percorso a base di finger food. Presentazione presso i banchi di accettazione e disbrigo delle
formalità di imbarco. Partenza per Milano alle ore 20:30. Arrivo a Milano alle ore 22:30 e fine dei nostri servizi.
