Dear Trevisani Members:
Buon Natale to all our members and their families. 2013 certainly was an exciting time
for the Trevisani Society. We celebrated our society's 35th anniversary this year . Our
picnic was well attended and we sold out of everything. Our annual banquet was
another success with more and more participating every year. Our membership is up
and we hope this trend continues into 2014.
We will end this year's events with a CHRISTMAS LIGHTS BUS TOUR. Last year
was the first year we organized this and even with the rainy weather we had a full bus.
This year the bus will leave St. Helen's at 6:00 pm and travel around Vancouver so we
can see some of the amazing light display, followed by hot drinks and sweets at the
end of the tour. If you are interested the cost is $10.00 per member and $15.00 for
non-members. The date is December 15. If you would like to participate please call
Teresa at 604-299-5950 and reserve your seat as spots are limited.
We will begin our 2014 events on Sunday January 12 th where we will have our 2014
registration. This will take place at St. Helens Hall (PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE
OF VENUE) starting at 2:00 pm. The cost for membership is as follows:
►$5.00 for one person 18 years and under
►$15.00 for one person
►$25.00 for a husband and wife
►$50.00 for one person with the newsletter
►$60.00 for a husband and wife with the newsletter
NO registration will be accepted after March 15, 2014. As you can see we have
included an envelope for you to submit your membership dues. Don’t wait send in your
registration fees now.
Showing up on Sunday January 12th, will be The Befana. This will also take place at
St. Helen's Hall starting at 3:00 pm. All children or grandchildren of our members are
invited to attend. Ages are from newborn to 10 years. Children must be present to
receive their gifts. To register call Emanuela at 604-294-5615, before December 31st,
2013. We will NOT accept any registrations after this date.
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday February 16th at St.
Helen's Hall starting at 1:30 pm. At this meeting we will be having our elections for all
positions. All elected will be for a 3 year term. If you want any information on the
elections please contact us. This will also be your last opportunity to pay your
membership dues.
Our fun Carnevale afternoon, will be held at St. Helen's Church Basement on
Sunday March 2. Join us for sweets and prizes. The event begins at 1:30 pm.

Trevisani Trip 2014. Plans are underway for a 3 night cruise and a 3 night stay in
Vegas. If you are interested in this trip and would like more information, please call

Of course our fun Trevisani Picnic will on Sunday July 20th at Confederation Park.
Come out and enjoy an afternoon of bocce, food and sitting around with friends and
family.

Cari Soci Trevisani:
"Buon Natale" a voi tutti ed alle vostre famiglie. Il 2013 é stato certamente un anno
eccitante per la nostra associazione. Quest'anno abbiamo celebrato il nostro 35 mo
anniversario di fondazione. Il "picnic" é andato benissimo, presenziato da
numerosissime persone, per cui abbiamo venduto tutte le nostre proviste cibarie. Il
nostro banchetto é stato pure un grande successo. Ogni anno vi sono sempre piŭ
partecipanti. Il numero dei nostri soci é grande e speriamo che questa tendenza
continui nel 2014.
Prima di'iniziare gli eventi del 2014, vogliamo terminare l'anno con la visita in autobus,
delle illuminazioni natalizie. Stiamo organizzando un giro con l'autobus che ci porterá
a visitare le luci di natale. Essa partirá dalla chiesa di S. Elena alle 6:00 pm e viaggerá
attorno a Vancouver , in modo che potremo ammirare le spettacolari luminare.
Concluderemo poi la fine dell'escursione con bibite calde e dolci. La data é Dicembre
15, 2013. Se siete interessati a parteciparvi, il costo é di $10 per socio e $15 per i non
soci. Per piacere telefonate a Teresa 604-299-5950 e riservatevi il posto perché i
seggi sono limitati.

Senza dubbio noi tutti sappiamo chi si presenterǎ domenica 12 gennaio, la Befana.
Anche questa ricorrenza si terrǎ nella sala della chiesa di “St. Elena” ed inizierǎ alle
3:00 pm. Tutti i bambini o nipotini dei nostri soci sono invitati ad attendervi. L’etǎ va
dai neonati ai dieci anni. I bambini perǒ devono essere presenti per ricevere i loro

La nostra riunione generale annuale si terrǎ domenica 16 febbraio, nel salone della
chiesa di St. Helens e inizierǎ alle 1:30 pm. Durante quest'incontro avverranno le
elezioni per tutte le posizioni del direttivo. Tutti gli eletti rimarranno in carica per 3 anni.
