Di forma cilindrica con parte inferiore tronco-conica,
si caratterizza per:
- razionalità di scorrimento degli inerti
- eliminazione di tutti i residui di inerti grazie alla sua
configurazione
- facilitazione di convogliamento in tramoggia di pesatura
anche in presenza di notevole numero di inerti
- raccolta dell’acqua rilasciata da inerti molto umidi,
indispensabile sia per la migliore qualità dei dosaggi
sia per il rispetto e la pulizia dell’ambiente
- semplificazione del montaggio: i sili sono costruiti con
pannelli modulari zincati (sia la parte cilindrica che il
tronco di cono) di altezza pari a 2 metri al fine di agevolare
il trasporto e per consentire il rapido assemblaggio
totalmente a terra in completa sicurezza evitando l’utilizzo
di ponteggi o gru
- agevole manutenzione: nella parte inferiore tronco-conica
dove vi sono le bocchette di prelievo, è installato uno
sportello a passo d’uomo (uno per ogni scomparto)
per consentire la manutenzione interna
- robustezza delle bocchette di estrazione a comando
pneumatico (optional: pareti antiusura).

Silo for aggregate storage
It is a cylindrical silo, whose lower part has the shape of a
truncated-cone, that is characterized by:
- rationality of aggregate flowing
- elimination of all the aggregate residues thanks to its shape
- easy conveying into the weighing hopper even in the presence
of a great number of aggregates
- possibility of conveying the water coming out of very moist
aggregates into collecting areas: it is indispensable to collect
the water both for carrying out high-quality batches and for
the environmental respect and cleaning
- simple assembly: the silos are constructed by galvanized
modular panels (both the cylindrical part and the truncated
cone) of suitable dimensions in order to facilitate their
transport and assembly; all the panels are 2 metres high
in order to allow a quick and safety assembly on ground,
thus avoiding the use of scaffolds and cranes
- easy maintenance: in the lower truncated-cone part where
the extracting mouths are positioned a crawl space (one for
each compartment) allows the internal maintenance
- sturdiness of the pneumatically-operated extracting mouths
(on request: wear-resistant plates).

The aggregate loading
can take place in two
different ways: by a
vertical bucket elevator
or by conveyor belts.
Primo piano:
vengono collocati i mescolatori di varie capacità (planetari, turboplanetari
o a doppio asse orizzontale). Si accede a mezzo di una scala esterna a doppia
rampa.
First floor:
the mixers of different capacities are positioned (planetary mixers,
turbo-planetary mixers or horizontal twin-shaft mixers).
The access to this floor is possible through an outside double-flight staircase.

it is the floor where the cement and aggregate
weighing hoppers are positioned. The weighing system
is based on electronic load cells.

Prefabbricazione
La struttura divisa in due parti è indispensabile nella prefabbricazione per dare spazio all’installazione
dei polmoni, degli accessori, dei carrelli aerei per la distribuzione del calcestruzzo.
Pre-Cast sector
The two-part structure is indispensable in the pre-cast sector for giving space to storage units,
to accessories, and to overhead rail skips for concrete distribution.

Calcestruzzo
Per il settore del calcestruzzo (impianti per servire autobetoniera) non è indispensabile realizzare una
struttura a 2 piani, in particolare per la versione silo BIG 10: ci si può limitare ad un’unica struttura formata
solo dagli 8 pilastri (a struttura triangolare contrapposta) allungati fino a terra. Questi ultimi non costituiscono
alcun impedimento all’accesso di due autobetoniere contemporaneamente (2 posizioni di carico).
Ready-Mix sector
In the ready-mix sector (plants for feeding truck mixers) it is not indispensable to realize a two-storied
structure, in particular for the BIG 10 silo version; it is sufficient to install a single structure composed
of 8 pillars only (an opposite triangular structure) lengthened up to the ground.
These pillars allow the access of two truck mixers at the same time (2 loading positions).
