Documento ufficiale per la pubblicazione di notizie
permanenti o significativamente durature, di carattere
aeronautico, essenziali per la navigazione aerea in
Italia secondo i requisiti internazionali.
L’ AIP - Italia è attualmente formato da sette volumi a
fogli sciolti, testo bilingue (inglese ed italiano).

Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP)
The official document used to publish aeronautical
information of permanent nature or of significant
duration, essential for air navigation in Italy as by
International requirements.
The AIP - Italy is now divided in seven volumes, in a
loose-leaf form with bilingual text (English and Italian).
3.3
Amendment service to the AIP (AIP AMDT)
L’aggiornamento dell’AIP viene effettuato con la
sostituzione delle pagine. Vengono pubblicati due tipi
di Variante:
Amendments to the AIP are made by means of
replacement sheets. Two types of AIP AMDT are
produced:
1)
Variante AIP regolare (AIP AMDT), pubblicata
secondo gli intervalli di tempo stabiliti (vedi AIC
in vigore) ed identificata da un frontespizio
bianco, contenente variazioni di carattere
permanente in AIP alla data di pubblicazione
indicata; e
1)
regular AIP Amendment (AIP AMDT), issued in
accordance with the established regular interval (see
relevant AIC) and identified by a white cover sheet,
incorporates permanent changes into the AIP on the
indicated publication date; and
2)
Variante AIP AIRAC (AIRAC AIP AMDT),
pubblicata secondo il sistema AIRAC e
riconoscibile
da
un
frontespizio
rosa
e
dall’acronimo AIRAC, contenente importanti
variazioni di natura permanente ed operativa in

AIP - Italia
In caso di AIRAC AIP AMDT viene riportata sul
frontespizio una breve descrizione degli argomenti
trattati.
Le informazioni nuove o modificate, inserite nelle
pagine ristampate, vengono evidenziate con una barra
verticale nera posta lungo il margine sinistro del testo
modificato; le informazioni eliminate vengono, invece,
evidenziate con una barra verticale nera o con una
freccia orizzontale, entrambe poste lungo il margine
sinistro del testo eliminato.
Ogni pagina AIP ed ogni pagina sostituita dalla
Variante è datata.
La data è formata da giorno, mese (nome) ed anno
della data di pubblicazione (Variante AIP regolare) o
della data di entrata in vigore AIRAC (AIRAC AIP
AMDT) dell’informazione.
Ciascun frontespizio contiene indicazioni del numero
identificativo di eventuali elementi del Pacchetto
Integrato di Informazioni Aeronautiche inserito in AIP
dalla Variante e successivamente annullati.
In case of AIRAC AIP AMDT a brief description of the
subjects affected by the amendment is given on the AIP
Amendment cover sheet.
Added or modified information included on the reprinted
AIP pages are identified by a thick black vertical line
immediately to the left of the change/addition; deleted
information are identified by a thick black vertical line or
an horizontal arrow immediately to the left of the
deletion.
Each AIP page and each AIP replacement page introduced
by an amendment are dated.
The date consists of the day, month (by name) and year
of the publication date (regular AIP AMDT) or of the
AIRAC effective date (AIRAC AIP AMDT) of the
information.
Each AIP amendment cover sheet includes references to
the serial number of those elements, if any, of the
Integrated Aeronautical Information Package which have
been incorporated in the AIP by the amendment and are
consequently cancelled.
Each AIP AMDT and each AIRAC AIP AMDT are allocated
separate serial numbers which are consecutive and based
on the calendar year. The year, indicated by two digits, is
a part of the serial number of the amendment, e.g. AIP
AMDT 1/04; AIRAC AIP AMDT 1/04. A checklist of AIP
pages containing page number, title of the chart and the
publication or effective date (day, month by name and
year) of the information is reissued with each amendment
and is an integral part of the AIP.
Ad ogni AIP AMDT e AIRAC AIP AMDT viene assegnato
un numero consecutivo che lo contraddistingue,
basato sull’anno calendariale. L’anno, espresso a due
cifre, è parte del numero consecutivo della Variante,
AIP AMDT 1/04; AIRAC AIP AMDT 1/04. Il sommario
delle pagine AIP, che contiene pagina, numero/nome
cartina e la data di pubblicazione o di entrata in vigore
(giorno, mese per nome ed anno) delle informazioni,
viene ripubblicato ad ogni Variante ed è parte
integrante dell’AIP.
3.4
Supplementi alla pubblicazione AIP (AIP SUP)
3.4
Le variazioni a carattere temporaneo di lunga durata
(superiore a tre mesi) e le informazioni di breve
durata con testo lungo e/o grafico, ad integrazione
delle informazioni permanenti in AIP, vengono
pubblicate come Supplementi AIP (AIP SUP).
Cambiamenti
temporanei
rilevanti,
riguardanti
argomenti di natura operativa, vengono pubblicati con
il sistema AIRAC a date prestabilite di entrata in
vigore, chiaramente contraddistinti dall’acronimo
AIRAC AIP SUP.
I Supplementi AIP sono di norma divisi per argomento
(Generale_GEN, In-rotta_ENR e Aerodromi_AD) e
vengono collocati all’inizio della parte AIP interessata.
I Supplementi vengono pubblicati su carta gialla per
essere ben visibili e risaltare dal resto dell’AIP. Ogni
Supplemento AIP (normale o AIRAC) deve essere
identificato da un proprio numero consecutivo su base
annuale (per esempio AIP SUP 1/04; AIRAC AIP SUP
1/04).
Un Supplemento rimane in AIP finché tutto o parte del
suo contenuto rimane in vigore. Il periodo di validità
delle informazioni ivi contenute, viene solitamente
indicata nel Supplemento stesso. In caso contrario,
vengono emessi NOTAM per segnalare eventuali
variazioni
alla
validità
o
cancellazione
del
Supplemento.
L’elenco dei Supplementi validi viene pubblicato nel
sommario mensile dei NOTAM in vigore.
3.5
NOTAM
Temporary changes of long duration (three months and
longer) and information of short duration which consists
of extensive text and/or graphics, supplementing the
permanent information contained in the AIP, are
published as AIP Supplements (AIP SUP).
Operationally significant temporary changes to the AIP
are published in accordance with the AIRAC system and
its established effective dates and are identified clearly by
the acronym AIRAC AIP SUP.
AIP Supplements are normally separated by information
subject
(General_GEN,
En-route_ENR
and
Aerodromes_AD) and are placed accordingly at the
beginning of each AIP Part. Supplements are published on
yellow paper to be conspicuous and to stand out from the
rest of the AIP. Each AIP Supplement (regular or AIRAC)
is allocated a serial number which is consecutive and
based on the calendar year (i.e. AIP SUP 1/04; AIRAC AIP
SUP 1/04).
An AIP Supplement is kept in the AIP as long as all or
some of its contents remain valid. The period of validity of
the information contained in the AIP Supplement will
normally be given in the Supplement itself. Alternatively,
NOTAM may be used to indicate changes to the period of
validity or cancellation of the supplement.
The checklist of AIP Supplements currently in force is
issued in the monthly printed plain-language summary of
NOTAM in force.
3.5
NOTAM
I NOTAM contengono informazioni circa l’attivazione,
le condizioni e le variazioni di ogni ausilio, servizio,
procedura o pericolo aeronautico, la cui tempestiva
conoscenza è essenziale per il personale addetto alle
operazioni di volo, in base a quanto disposto dalla
normativa internazionale applicabile (Annesso 15 e
DOC 8126 ICAO). Il testo di ogni NOTAM contiene
informazioni secondo l’ordine del modello NOTAM
ICAO in forma di fraseologia abbreviata abbinata al
codice NOTAM ICAO completato dalle abbreviazioni
ICAO, indicatori, identificatori, designatori, nominativi
di chiamata, frequenze, cifre e linguaggio esteso.
I NOTAM vengono richiesti, emessi e diffusi in cinque
serie identificate dalle lettere A, B, C, W ed S
(SNOWTAM).
NOTAM contain information concerning the establishment,
condition or change in any aeronautical facility, service,
procedure or hazard, the timely knowledge of which is
essential for personnel concerned with flight operations
based on international applicable rules (Annex 15 and
DOC 8126 ICAO). The text of each NOTAM contains the
information in the order shown in the ICAO NOTAM
Format in abbreviated phraseology assigned to the ICAO
NOTAM Code complemented by ICAO abbreviations,
indicators, identifiers, designators, call signs, frequencies,
figures and plain language.

Stati che ne fanno richiesta via AFTN.

un sommario contenente la lista numerica dei NOTAM
in vigore (divulgato a mezzo rete AFTN) ed un elenco
descrittivo degli stessi (distribuito via posta).
I NOTAM vengono distribuiti agli uffici NOTAM
Internazionali e ad altri corrispondenti come segue:

Information concerning snow, slush, ice or standing water
associated with snow and slush and ice in the movement

NOF Italy (LIIAYNYX) will forward national SNOWTAM to
requesting States via AFTN.

NOTAM are distributed through the International NOTAM
Office (NOF).
Each NOTAM is provided with a number preceded by
appropriate letter indicating the series.
The serial numbers of each series start with number 1 on
first January every year.
A numerical check list of NOTAM in force (by means of
AFTN) and a list of valid NOTAM (via mail) are issued on
the first of each month.

Circolari di informazioni aeronautiche (AIC)
3.6
Le circolari di informazioni aeronautiche (AIC)
contengono informazioni a lungo termine sui principali
cambiamenti relativi a norme, regolamentazioni,
procedure o installazioni; informazioni di natura
prettamente descrittiva o consultiva connesse alla
sicurezza del volo; informazioni o notifiche di natura
descrittiva o consultiva relative a materie di carattere
tecnico, legislativo o puramente amministrativo. Le
AIC sono distinte per argomento e vengono emesse in
2 serie (A e C). Le AIC Serie A contengono
informazioni che interessano l’aviazione civile
internazionale e vengono diffuse in tutto il mondo,
mentre le AIC di Serie C contengono informazioni di
esclusivo interesse nazionale e vengono diffuse a
carattere nazionale.
Ciascuna AIC di ogni serie è contraddistinta da un
numero progressivo che comincia all’inizio di ogni
anno.
L’anno, indicato da 2 cifre, è parte del numero di serie
dell’AIC, per esempio AIC A 1/04; AIC C 1/04.
L’elenco delle AIC, anch’esso sotto forma ordinaria di
AIC, viene pubblicato contestualmente con l’uscita di
ogni nuova AIC.

Lista controllo NOTAM
Each AIC is numbered consecutively within each series on
a calendar year basis.
The year, indicated by 2 digits, is a part of the serial
number of the AIC, e.g. AIC A 1/04; AIC C 1/04.
A checklist of AIC, also in the form of ordinary AIC, is
issued according to every new AIC publication.

Una lista di controllo dei NOTAM in vigore viene
pubblicata mensilmente. La lista di controllo viene
seguita dalla stampa dei sommari NOTAM e distribuita
via posta (e/o via e-mail in formato PDF) a chi riceve il
pacchetto integrato delle informazioni aeronautiche.
Contiene una presentazione per esteso (in inglese) dei
NOTAM in vigore e l’informazione dei numeri delle
ultime uscite AMDT, AIRAC AMDT, SUP e AIC così come
i numeri degli elementi emessi con AIRAC che entrerà
in vigore oppure, se non ce ne sono, la comunicazione
AIRAC NIL.

Check List of NOTAM
A checklist of valid NOTAM is issued monthly. The
checklist is followed by a printed summary of NOTAM and
is distributed by mail (and/or via E-mail in PDF format) to
all recipients of the Integrated Aeronautical Information
Package. It contains a plain language presentation (in
English) of the valid NOTAM and information about the
number of the latest issued AMDT, AIRAC AMDT, SUP and
AIC as well as the numbers of the elements issued under
the AIRAC that will become effective or, if none, the NIL
AIRAC notification.

Aeronautical information circulars (AIC)
The Aeronautical Information Circulars (AIC) contain
information on the long-term forecast of any major
change in legislation, regulations, procedures or facilities;
information of a purely explanatory or advisory nature
liable to affect flight safety; information or notification of
explanatory or advisory nature concerning technical,
legislative or purely administrative matters. AICs are
divided by subject and are issued in 2 series (A and C).
AIC Series A contains information affecting international
civil aviation and is given international distribution, while
AIC Series C contains information of national interest only
and is given national distribution.
Purchase and availability of AIS publications
All national publications produced by the Aeronautical
Information Service (Integrated Aeronautical Information
Package) are available for consultation at AIS
headquarters and at ARO of aerodromes where Air Traffic
Services are provided.
The Aeronautical Information Service publications can be
purchased as specified in the specific AIC in force.

Generalità
4.1
General
Allo scopo di controllare e regolare modifiche
significative in campo operativo che richiedono
modifiche alle carte, ai manuali di rotta, ecc., tali
cambiamenti, verranno pubblicati in date predefinite
in accordo al sistema AIRAC. Questo tipo di
informazioni viene pubblicato come emendamento AIP
AIRAC o Supplemento AIP AIRAC. La tabella che
segue indica le date effettive AIRAC per i prossimi
anni. Le informazioni AIRAC vengono pubblicate in
modo da essere ricevute dagli utenti non più tardi di
28 giorni (per emendamenti rilevanti, non più tardi di
56 giorni) prima della data di entrata in vigore. Il
giorno di pubblicazione dell’AIRAC AMDT/SUP viene
emesso un TRIGGER NOTAM, che fornisce una breve
descrizione dei contenuti, data di entrata in vigore e
numero di riferimento dell’AIP AIRAC AMDT/SUP, che
diventa effettivo in quella data.
Quando non è prevista alcuna pubblicazione ad una
specifica data AIRAC, viene emesso un TRIGGER
NOTAM contenete il messaggio: “AIRAC NIL”.
In order to control and regulate the operational significant
changes requiring amendments to charts, route manuals
etc, such changes will be issued on predetermined dates
according to the AIRAC system. This type of information
will be published as an AIRAC AIP amendment or as an
AIRAC AIP Supplement. The table below indicates AIRAC
effective dates for the coming years. AIRAC information
will be issued so that the information will be received by
the user not later than 28 days, and for major changes
not later than 56 days, before the effective date. At
AIRAC publication date, trigger NOTAM will be issued
giving a brief description of the contents, effective date
and reference number of the AIRAC AIP amendment or
AIRAC AIP supplement that will become effective on that
date.

I NOTAM estrapolati nelle varie tipologie standard di
PIB sono quelli in vigore da 3 ore prima dell’EOBT fino
a 16 ore successive all’EOBT.
PIB standard automated production takes into account
relevant NOTAM in force from 3 hours before EOBT until
16 hours after EOBT.

REMARK
La struttura dei PIB “RPL/FPL/ROUTE bulletin”,
prevede la presenza dei NOTAM dell’aeroporto di
partenza, di arrivo, degli alternati e delle
informazioni lungo la rotta comprendenti le
radioassistenze, le restrizioni etc.

Presso gli ARO-CBO i PIB vengono prodotti

secondo dei criteri standard. È altresì possibile
ottenere, evidentemente non in forma di PIB, tutti i
NOTAM che risultano validi/in vigore/attivi al momento
della richiesta (NOTAM Inquiry).

At ARO-CBO PIB are prepared automatically, with the
above described modalities, according to standard
criteria. Furthermore, it is also possible to obtain, not in
PIB form obviously, all NOTAM valid/in force/active at the
moment the request is submitted (NOTAM Inquiry).

The automated system used for PIB production
allows the use of exclusion criteria, that produces
as a matter of fact an incomplete NOTAM retrieving.
The use of one of the standard types of PIB is
recommended in order to obtain all relevant
information actual at the moment the request is
submitted.

NOTAM e SNOWTAM diversi da quelli emesse
rispettivamente dal NOF Italia e dalle strutture
aeroportuali

Consistency within PIB of NOTAM and SNOWTAM
information other than those issued by Italy NOF or by
