Vorteil - wasserdicht:
Der Eintrittsbereich des Marders in den Motorraum konnte bisher nur bedingt abgesichert werden, da die
Marderabwehrgeräte, schmutz- und spritzwassergeschützt im Motorraum verbaut werden mussten. Auch beim
Einsatz im Carport war eine geschützte Einsatzstelle erforderlich. Durch das Erreichen der Schutzart IP 65 ist
das M8700 nun wasser- und schmutzbeständig.

Ausführliche Beschreibung und Einbauhinweise:
Das Gerät erzeugt einen enorm lauten, pulsierenden aggressiven Ultraschallton von ca. 23 kHz, der für die meisten Menschen
unhörbar ist, aber für Wildtiere eine erhebliche Belästigung darstellt und deshalb möglichst gemieden wird. Das Gerät wird mit 2
Stück Batterien AA 1,5V betrieben (n.i.Lieferumfang), die je nach Qualität bis zu 12 Monaten halten.
Vor dem Einsatz:
Marder verteidigen bei Verbiss oft ihr Revier, besonders wenn durch andere Marder Duftmarken gesetzt wurden. Daher unbedingt
vor dem Einsatz eine Motorwäsche durchführen oder den speziellen K&K-Duftmarken-Entferner 000300 verwenden. Ggf. auch den
Stellplatz mit Schrubber und Spülmittel säubern.
Aufbauanweisung:
Bitte öffnen Sie das Gerät mit einem Schraubendreher (Bodenplatte abschrauben). Legen Sie die Batterien in den eingebauten
Batteriehalter ein. Wenn alle Batterien eingelegt sind, blinkt die Leuchtdiode unter dem Lautsprecher im ca. 6-Sekundentakt auf.
Wenn die LED blinkt, ist das Gerät in Betrieb. Sie können die Bodenplatte wieder anschrauben und das Gerät an der
vorgesehenen Stelle (mittels Kabelbindern oder Schrauben) montieren. Ultraschalltöne breiten sich aus wie das Licht: Gradlinig
und wenn Hindernisse da sind, werden Schatten geworfen (hinter Hindernissen ist kein Ultraschallton mehr zu hören). Sie müssen
das Gerät also so montieren, dass der gewünschte Beschallungsbereich möglichst frei ist. Beim Verbau im Motorraum: Das
M8700 sollte so im Motorraum eingebaut werden, dass die schallabgebende Kuppel möglichst die Eintrittsöffnungen der Marder
und die Marderbiss gefährdeten Stellen bestrahlt. Bitte darauf achten, dass vor der Gehäuse-Wölbung Freiraum vorhanden ist,
damit sich die Ultraschalltöne möglichst weiträumig ausbreiten können. Jedoch nicht unmittelbar an den Auspuffkrümmer oder
direkt neben dem Motor anbringen - wegen zu großer Erhitzung. Bitte beachten: Das Gerät ist zwar äußerst schmutzbeständig,
eine Dreckschicht auf der gewölbten Lautsprechermembran behindert aber die Schallabstrahlung (Leistung wird durch den
Schmutz gedämpft). Daher bitte so einbringen, dass sich keine dicke Schmutzschicht aufbauen kann!
Die Funktion kann mit der eingebauten LED geprüft werden. Wenn die LED nicht mehr blinkt, sind wahrscheinlich die Batterien
leer. Wenn Sie das Gerät unter einen Wohnwagen gegen Mäuse montieren, dann müssen Sie daran denken, dass das Gras kurz
gehalten werden muss (sonst breitet sich der Ultraschallton nicht so gut aus).

Advantage - waterproof:
Up until now it was only possible to secure the access area to the engine compartment used by martens to a
certain degree, as the marten repelling modules had to be installed in the engine compartment in a manner that
protected them from dirt and water splashing. A protected installation location was also required when the
module was used in carports. Achievement of the IP 65 degree of protection means that the M8700 is now water
and dirt resistant.

Detailed description and installation instructions:
The module generates a very loud, pulsating and aggressive ultrasonic sound of approx. 23 kHz which is inaudible for most people,
but causes considerable stress to wild animals and is therefore avoided if possible. The module is powered by 2 x AA 1.5V
batteries (not included in delivery) which, depending on their quality, can last up to 12 months.
Prior to use:
Martens frequently defend their territory through biting, particularly where odour markings are left behind by other martens. It is
therefore imperative that the engine be washed prior to use of the module, or the special K&K 000300 odour marker remover be
used and, where necessary, the parking space cleaned with a mop and detergent.
Assembly instructions:
Please open the module with a screwdriver (unscrew the base plate). Insert the batteries into the integrated battery holders. The
LED under the loudspeaker flashes at approx. 6 second intervals when all the batteries have been inserted. The module is ready
for operation when the LED flashes. You can screw the base plate into position again and mount the module in the intended
location (using cable binders or screws). Ultrasonic sounds spread out like light (i.e. in a straight line), and shadows occur where
obstacles are present (no ultrasonic sound is heard behind obstacles). Ensure therefore that the desired ultrasonic emission area is
kept as free as possible when mounting the module. When installing in the engine compartment: The M8700 should be
mounted in the engine compartment so that the sonic emission dome radiates over the access openings used by the martens and
areas at risk from gnawing. Please ensure that space is available in front of the housing dome to allow the ultrasonic sound to
expand over as broad an area as possible. However, it should not be mounted directly adjacent to the exhaust manifold or engine,
due to the excessive heat in these locations. Please note: The module is extremely resistant to dirt, but a layer of dirt on the
domed loudspeaker membrane will impair the sound emission (the output is reduced by the dirt). The module should therefore be
fitted in a location where a thick layer of dirt cannot build up!
The function can be checked with the integrated LED. The batteries are probably flat if the LED no longer flashes. When mounting
the module under a caravan to protect it against mice, ensure that the grass is kept short (as the ultrasonic sound will not spread as
effectively otherwise).

Used batteries should be disposed of at a collecting point for old batteries (do not throw into household waste or fire). The majority
of companies that sell batteries also take back used batteries for disposal. Should disposal of the module prove necessary at any
stage, please bring it to a disposal site for electronic waste where other electronic appliances such as televisions and audio
systems are also accepted for disposal (please contact your city or municipal office for information)
Please note that ultrasonic noises only represent an extreme nuisance for the animals, but do not harm them physically. Our
modules are extremely effective deterrents against martens, but we cannot guarantee that martens will be repelled in 100 % of cases!

Description détaillée et indications de montage :
L’appareil produit des ultrasons à répétition extrêmement puissants et agressifs d’une fréquence d’env. 23 kHz. Ces derniers sont
imperceptibles pour la majorité des hommes mais sont ressentis comme extrêmement contraignants par les animaux sauvages qui
cherchent alors à s’en tenir le plus éloignés possible. Le fonctionnement de l’appareil requiert 2 piles AA 1,5V (non incl. dans la
livraison). En fonction de leur qualité, les piles peuvent durer jusqu’à un an.
Avant utilisation :
Les rongeurs ont souvent recours au grignotage pour marquer leur territoire, en particulier si d’autres rongeurs y ont laissé des
marques odorantes. Par conséquent, il est nécessaire de procéder au lavage du moteur avant l’utilisation ou d’avoir recours à
l’Anéantisseur de marques odorantes K&K 000300. Le cas échéant, il peut également s’avérer utile de nettoyer le futur
emplacement du dispositif avec une brosse et du produit vaisselle.
Indications de montage :
Veuillez ouvrir l’appareil avec un tournevis (dévisser la base). Insérez les piles dans le compartiment pour piles intégré. Une fois les
piles insérées, la DEL clignote sous le haut-parleur avec une fréquence de 6 secondes. Le clignotement de la DEL indique que
l’appareil est en fonctionnement. Revissez la base et montez l’appareil à l’endroit prévu (à l’aide d’attaches-câbles ou de vis). La
propagation des ondes ultrasons est semblable à la diffusion de la lumière : en ligne droite. Les éventuels obstacles entraînent la
présence d’ombres (aucun ultrason n’est perceptible derrière les obstacles). Vous devez donc installer l’appareil de telle façon que
la zone à irradier soit dénuée d’obstacles.
Montage à l’intérieur du compartiment moteur :
Le M8700 doit être monté dans le compartiment moteur de façon à ce que le profil arrondi d’émission sonore irradie autant que
possible les orifices d’accès des rongeurs ainsi que les zones menacées par leur grignotage. Veuillez veiller à ce qu’un espace
libre se trouve devant la partie bombée du boîtier afin que les ultrasons puissent se propager le plus loin possible. L’appareil ne
doit cependant pas être monté sur le coude d’échappement ni directement à côté du moteur, au risque d’être exposé à une chaleur
trop intense !
Attention :
Même si l’appareil est extrêmement résistant à la poussière, une couche de saleté sur la membrane bombée du haut-parleur
gênerait le rayonnement sonore (la poussière amoindrit les performances). Il est par conséquent recommandé d’installer l’appareil
de façon à prévenir la formation d’une couche de poussière trop épaisse !
La DEL intégrée permet de contrôler le fonctionnement de l’appareil. Si la DEL cesse de clignoter, les piles sont probablement
déchargées. Si vous montez l’appareil sous une caravane pour lutter contre les souris, la pelouse doit rester courte (dans le cas
contraire, les ultrasons ne pourront pas se propager correctement).

Conditions prévues d’utilisation :

Mise au rebut :
Les piles usées doivent être déposées dans les boîtes de collecte prévues à cet effet (ne pas les mettre au rebut avec les déchets
ménagers, ne pas jeter au feu). La majorité des sociétés commercialisant des piles les reprennent et se chargent de leur
élimination. Si le dispositif anti-rongeur doit être mis au rebut, veuillez le déposer dans le container destiné à la collecte des
appareils électroniques usagers (téléviseurs, chaînes hifi, etc.). Renseignez-vous auprès de votre mairie pour connaître
l’emplacement d’un tel container.
Veuillez garder à l’esprit que les ultrasons sont uniquement une source de dérangement importante pour les animaux mais ne leur
cause aucun trouble corporel. Même si nos appareils sont extrêmement efficaces dans la lutte contre les rongeurs, nous ne pouvons
garantir une absence complète de rongeurs dans la totalité des cas.

gebruik in carports moesten de marterverschrikkers worden beschermd. Door het bereiken van de
beschermingsgraad IP 65 is de M8700 nu bestand tegen water en vuil.

Uitvoerige beschrijving en aanwijzingen voor montage:
Het apparaat produceert een enorm hard, agressief en pulserend ultrasoon geluid van ca. 23 kHz. Deze is voor de meeste mensen
niet hoorbaar, maar voor wilde dieren enorm hinderlijk en wordt daarom zoveel mogelijk gemeden. Het apparaat werkt op twee
batterijen AA 1,5V (niet bij levering inbegrepen) die afhankelijk van de kwaliteit voldoende zijn voor maximaal 12 maanden
Voorafgaande aan het gebruik:
Marters verdedigen bij marterbeten vaak hun territorium, vooral wanneer andere marters hun geurvlaggen hebben achtergelaten.
Daarom moet de motor beslist worden gereinigd voor het gebruik van de marterverschrikker. U kunt daarvoor ook de speciale K&Kgeurvlagverwijderaar 000300 gebruiken. Indien nodig dient u ook de parkeerplaats zelf met schrobber en afwasmiddel schoon te
maken.
Montageaanwijzing:
Open het apparaat met een schroevendraaier (bodemplaat eraf schroeven). Plaats de batterijen in de ingebouwde batterijhouder.
Wanneer alle batterijen zijn geplaatst knippert de lichtdiode onder de luidspreker om de 6 seconden. Als de LED knippert werkt het
apparaat werkt. U kunt de bodemplaat weer vastschroeven en het apparaat op de gewenste plek monteren (met kabelbinders of
schroeven). Ultrasoon geluid verspreidt zich als licht: in een rechte lijn en als er hindernissen aanwezig zijn, ontstaat er daarachter
een schaduw (achter hindernissen is het ultrasone geluid niet meer hoorbaar). Het apparaat moet zodanig worden gemonteerd, dat
het gewenste geluidsbereik zoveel mogelijk vrij is. Bij montage in de motorruimte: De M8700 moet zo in de motorruimte worden
gemonteerd, dat de geluidsafgevende koepel zoveel mogelijk de toegangsplaatsen van de marter en de plaatsen met een risico op
marterbeten bestraalt. Daarbij moet erop worden gelet dat er voor de welving van de behuizing een vrije ruimte is, zodat de
ultrasone signalen zich zo breed mogelijk kunnen verspreiden. Het apparaat mag echter niet direct bij de uitlaatpijp of naast de
motor worden gemonteerd, omdat deze plaatsen te heet worden. Let op: Dit apparaat is weliswaar zeer goed bestand tegen vuil.
Een vuillaag op het gewelfde luidsprekermembraan voorkomt echter de bestraling met geluid (vermogen wordt door het vuil
gedempt). Daarom dient u het apparaat zo aan te brengen, dat er zich geen dikke vuillaag kan opbouwen!
Met de ingebouwde LED kan worden gecontroleerd of het apparaat werkt. Wanneer de LED niet meer knippert, zijn de batterijen
waarschijnlijk leeg. Als u het apparaat onder een caravan tegen muizen monteert, dan moet u eraan denken, dat het gras eronder
kort moet worden gehouden. Anders kan het ultrasone geluid zich niet goed verspreiden.

worden verjaagd!

Urządzenie generuje wyjątkowo głośny, pulsujący sygnał ultradźwiękowy o częstotliwości ok. 23 kHz, który, choć niesłyszalny dla
większości ludzi, stanowi znaczne obciążenie dla dzikich zwierząt, które starają się go unikać. Urządzenie zasilane jest 2 ba teriami

Przed zastosowaniem:
Przegryzienie może być spowodowane tym, że kuny często bronią swojego terytorium, zwłaszcza wtedy, gdy inne kuny
pozostawiły na nim swoje znaki zapachowe. Dlatego przed użyciem urządzenia należy koniecznie umyć silnik lub zastosować
specjalny preparat do usuwania znaków zapachowych K&K 000300. Należy ewentualnie oczyścić miejsce postoju za pomocą
szczotki do szorowania i płynu do mycia naczyń.
Instrukcja montażu:
Otwórz urządzenie za pomocą śrubokręta (odkręć dolną płytę). Włóż baterie do wbudowanego uchwytu na baterie. Po włożeniu
wszystkich baterii miga dioda świetlna pod głośnikiem w 6-sekundowym takcie. Migająca dioda LED oznacza, że urządzenie
pracuje. Można ponownie przykręcić dolną płytę i zamontować urządzenie w wybranym miejscu (za pomocą opasek zaciskowych
lub śrub). Ultradźwięki rozprzestrzeniają się tak jak światło: prostoliniowo, a w razie wystąpienia przeszkody powstaje cień (za
przeszkodami ultradźwięki nie są słyszalne). Urządzenie należy zatem zamontować w taki sposób, aby wybrany obszar
oddziaływania dźwiękiem był możliwie wolny od przeszkód. W razie montażu w komorze silnika: Urządzenie M8700 należy

występowanie wysokich temperatur. Uwaga: Wprawdzie urządzenie jest wyjątkowo odporne na zabrudzenia, jednak warstwa

Podrobný popis a pokyny pro montáž:
Přístroj vytváří mimořádně hlasitý, pulzující ultrazvukový tón o frekvenci cca 23 kHz, který je pro většinu lidí neslyšitelný, avšak zvěř
jej vnímá jako velmi nepříjemný a proto se mu pokud možno vyhýbá. Přístroj je napájen dvěma bateriemi AA 1,5 V (nejsou součástí
dodávky), které podle kvality vydrží až 12 měsíců.
Před použitím:
Kuny si svůj revír často značkují okusem, zejména pokud zde zanechaly své pachové značky jiné kuny. Před použitím proto
bezpodmínečně omyjte motor nebo použijte speciální odstraňovač pachových značek K&K 000300. V případě potřeby také mycím
prostředkem vydrhněte a vytřete parkovací místo.
Montážní návod:
Otevřete přístroj pomocí šroubováku (odšroubujte spodní desku). Vložte baterie do integrovaného držáku. Při vložení všech baterií
bliká světelná dioda pod reproduktorem v intervalu cca 6 sekund. Pokud LED dioda bliká, je přístroj v provozu. Spodní desku
můžete opět přišroubovat a přístroj namontovat na určené místo (pomocí kabelových vazačů nebo šroubů). Ultrazvukové tóny se
šíří stejně jako světlo: přímočaře, a pokud narazí na překážky, vytvoří stín (za překážkami již není slyšet žádný ultrazvukový tón).
Přístroj proto musíte namontovat tak, aby byl požadovaný plašicí prostor pokud možno prázdný. Při instalaci v motorovém
prostoru: Přístroj M8700 by měl být v motorovém prostoru namontován tak, aby hlavice emitující ultrazvuk pokud možno
ozařovala otvory, kudy mohou kuny vnikat dovnitř, a místa ohrožená okusem. Dbejte prosím na to, aby byl před vyklenutím tělesa
volný prostor, aby se ultrazvukové tóny mohly dobře šířit. Montáž však neprovádějte přímo na koleno výfuku nebo přímo vedle
motoru – z důvodu příliš vysokých teplot. Prosím pozor: Přístroj je sice mimořádně odolný proti znečištění, avšak vrstva nečistot
na vyklenuté membráně reproduktoru zabraňuje vyzařování ultrazvuku (nečistota snižuje výkon). Přístroj proto umístěte tak, aby se
nemohla vytvořit silná vrstva nečistoty!
Funkci lze kontrolovat pomocí integrované LED diody. Pokud LED dioda přestane blikat, jsou pravděpodobně vybité baterie. Pokud
přístroj namontujete pod obytný přívěs pro plašení myší, musíte trávu udržovat krátkou (ultrazvuk se jinak nebude moci tak dobře
šířit).

Likvidace:
Vybité baterie musí být likvidovány ve sběrných místech pro baterie (nepatří domovního odpadu, nevhazovat do ohně). Většina

Descrizione dettagliata e avvertenze per il montaggio:
L’apparecchio genera ultrasuoni potenti, aggressivi e pulsanti di ca. 23 kHz, che non vengono percepiti dalla maggior parte delle
persone, ma che per gli animali selvatici risultano particolarmente fastidiosi e, quindi, da evitare. L'apparecchio è alimentato da 2
batterie AA da 1,5 V (non comprese nella dotazione) che, a seconda della qualità, possono avere una durata anche di 12 mesi.
Prima dell'uso:
Le martore spesso difendono il proprio territorio con il morso, soprattutto se altre martore hanno lasciato le loro tracce odorose.
Pertanto, prima dell'uso è assolutamente necessario lavare a fondo il motore oppure impiegare lo speciale prodotto per la
rimozione delle tracce odorose delle martore 000300. Eventualmente pulire anche il luogo di installazione con spazzolone e
detergente.
Istruzioni di montaggio:
Aprire l’apparecchio con un cacciaviti (svitare la piastra di base). Posizionare le batterie nel portabatterie integrato. Quando tutte le
batterie sono inserite, il diodo luminoso sotto l’altoparlante lampeggia a intervalli di ca. 6 secondi. Se il LED lampeggia,
l’apparecchio è in funzione. Si può quindi riavvitare la piastra di base e montare l’apparecchio nel punto previsto (tramite fascette
per cavi o viti). Gli ultrasuoni si diffondono come la luce, cioè in modo rettilineo; quando incontrano ostacoli si formano zone
d’ombra (dietro agli ostacoli gli ultrasuoni non sono più percepibili). Montare quindi l’apparecchio in modo che l’area da raggiungere
con gli ultrasuoni sia il più possibile sgombra da ostacoli. In caso di montaggio nel vano motore: montare l'apparecchio M8700
nel vano motore in modo che l’elemento a cupola che genera le onde sonore possa diffonderle il più possibile nelle aperture di
accesso per le martore e nei punti a rischio di morso. Accertarsi che davanti alla convessità dell’alloggiamento vi sia spazio a
sufficienza per consentire la massima propagazione degli ultrasuoni. Tuttavia, non montare l'apparecchio direttamente sul
collettore di scarico o troppo vicino al motore, in quanto il calore sarebbe eccessivo. Attenzione: l'apparecchio è estremamente
resistente alla sporcizia, ma uno strato di sporco sulla membrana curva dell'altoparlante compromette la diffusione del suono (lo
sporco attenua la potenza). Collocare quindi l'apparecchio in modo da impedire la formazione di spessi strati di sporco!
Lo stato di funzionamento può essere verificato con il LED integrato. Se il LED non lampeggia più, probabilmente le batterie sono
scariche. Se si installa l’apparecchio sotto a un camper per allontanare i topi, preoccuparsi di tagliare regolarmente l’erba (in caso
contrario la diffusione degli ultrasuoni risulta ostacolata).

Numerose ditte che vendono batterie nuove ritirano anche quelle obsolete. Qualora fosse necessario smaltire l'apparecchio,
consegnarlo presso un centro di smaltimento per rifiuti elettronici, dove vengono accettati anche altri apparecchi elettronici, come
televisori e impianti audio (chiedere all'ufficio preposto della propria città o del proprio comune).
Ricordare che gli ultrasuoni risultano soltanto particolarmente fastidiosi per gli animali, ma non arrecano alcun danno fisico. I nostri
apparecchi sono particolarmente efficaci nell’allontanamento delle martore. Tuttavia non possiamo offrire alcuna garanzia che le martore
vengono scacciate nel 100% dei casi!
