A SAFARI THROUGH THE JUNGLE OF
DESIGN: LOUIS VUITTON REVEALS NEW
OBJETS NOMADES
The French maison continues to expand its project in the world of furnishing with further
‘traveller objects’ designed by international designers

The collection of foldable furniture commissioned by Louis Viutton from successful
and emergent talents of various nationalities has been enriched by new ultra-luxurious
furnishing ‘objects’. This year’s novelties go to expand the preceding successes of a
strategic diversification first launched in the Miami Design Week 2012, now comprising
a total of sixteen furnishing creations inspired by the maison’s most iconic accessories,
under the collective title Objets Nomades. Among the renowned designers who up to
now have lent their creativity to the project are: the Fratelli Campana, Patricia Urquiola,
Maarten Baas and Nendo… these are now joined by three further designers: Raw Edges,
Gwenaël Nicolas and Damien Langlois-Meurinne. The images show various exemplars
of the ravishing collection in the scenic presentation inside Palazzo Bocconi in Milan,
transformed for the occasion into a luxury safari, surrounded by hints of traveller’s tales,
equatorial suggestions and exquisite finishing.
Si arricchisce di nuovi lussuosissimi pezzi la collezione di arredi pieghevoli commissionata
dalla storica maison Louis Vuitton a designer affermati ed emergenti in ambito internazionale.
Le novità presentate quest’anno, vanno ad aggiungersi ai precedenti successi dell’iniziativa
debuttata durante la Miami Design Week 2012, per un totale di sedici creazioni ispirate
agli accessori più iconici della maison, sotto il nome comune di Objets Nomades.
Tra i nomi più acclamati che hanno prestato la loro indole creativa al progetto ricordiamo:
Fratelli Campana, Patricia Urquiola, Maarten Baas e Nendo, cui vanno ora ad aggiungersi
lo studio Raw Edges, Gwenaël Nicolas e Damien Langlois-Meurinne.
Le immagini ritraggono alcuni esemplari della preziosa collezione all’interno della scenografica
presentazione allestita presso Palazzo Bocconi, trasformato per l’occasione in un safari di
lusso, tra racconti di viaggio, suggestioni equatoriali e finiture pregiate.
