had the first important
results that can help to identify the favourite drivers for the final win in this prestigious trophy which
represents a good deal of the history of kart.
In KF3 it was the young Kevin Lavelli (Top Kart Parilla) the fastest one in the qualifying time trials and who
managed to confirm his leadership in the first qualifying heat of the weekend. Only Nicolò Balsamo (BirelBmb) – recovering from an initial fifth place - and Speedy (Crg-Maxter) from Cosenza tried to match up with
the Northern Italian driver of the Top Kart Parilla Team.

Speedy got the lead during
the first laps, but he then had
to leave the leadership first
to Lavelli then to Balsamo.
Mattia Moretti (Intrepid-Tm)
arrived in 4th after achieving
an overall second time.
In KF2 Stefano Cucco (BirelIame) was the fastest of the
group, both in the time trial
and in the first heat, won
with a good lead over
Vittorio Maria Russo (Tony
Kart-Vortex) and Alessio
Costantini (Tony Kart-Vortex).
Augusto Di Braccio (Top
Kart-Tm) and the Polish
Jakub Dalewski (Tony KartVortex) arrived fourth and

fifth respectively, while the
other protagonists were all slowed down by a great crash during the first lap. Among them, Alessio Profeta
(Crg-Maxter), starting from third row, and Federico Savona (Parolin-Parilla), who had achieved the 7th time
in the trial. The Sicilan driver Giuliano Niceta (RK-Bmb), at his debut in the category, was rather unlucky too
and got involved in the first lap crash.
Awesome race in 60 Mini too. In the category reserved to the youngest drivers, the performance of Alessio
Lorandi (Tony Kart-Lke) stood out; he arrived before the excellent Angelo Giannone (CRG-Lke) and the
Russian Alexander Zhirkov (Birel-Lke). Danilo Albanese (Top Kart-Lke) behaved very well too, arriving
fourth on the finish line. On the other hand, Leonardo Lorandi (Tony Kart-Lke) was rather unlucky. He was
obliged to retire around half race after being the fastest in the qualifying trials. The most expected driver
Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart-Lke) had technical troubles during the trials and from the last position
managed to recover up to the 18th in the heats.
In the 125 Italia Ivan
Bocchiola
(Spirit-Tm)
confirmed to be the fastest in
the trials and won the first
heat before the runner up
Omar Avanzato (CKR-Tm)
and
Cristiano
Falciti
(Maranello-Maranello).
In the single-brand category
Vortex, the Super Rok, the
win went to Demis Graziani
(Tony Kart)after a great
recovery from his initial 13th
place. Graziani was first at
the chequered flag before
Paolo De Simone (Maranello),
Riccardo Da Sacco (Tony Kart)
and
Mattia
D’Abramo
(Righetti Ridolfi). In the Rok
Matteo Piselli (Kosmos) won
arriving ahead of the Swiss
driver Rafael Aguiar (Exprit).
In the single-brand Iame X30,
Michele Beccaria (Top Kart),
the poleman, won arriving
before Tino Donadei (Top
Kart), who was able to
recover
two
positions.
Alfredo Gagliardi (DR) was
third.
