Education
Graduated (Laurea) in Mathematics in 1988, at l'Università degli Studi di Milano (degree:
110/110 magna cum laude). Obtains the Ph.D. in Mathematics (l'Università degli Studi di
Milano) with a national examination held in Rome on 15.9.1993. In 1993 obtains the
national "habilitation" to teach Matemathics in High School.

Born in Milano (I), on 27.9.1964, italian citizen.

On 12.6.1995 wins a "concorso" for a permanent position as "Ricercatore" (Lecturer) in
Mathematical Analysis in the Dipartimento di Matematica del Politecnico di Torino, where
she works since 25.9.1995.
Since 1.10.2008 is "Ricercatore" (Lecturer) in Mathematical Analysis in the Agriculture
Faculty of University of Milano.
Is the author of about twenty papers on major international scientific journals.
Research fields
Geometrical methods for differential equations, and in particular
- Geometrical formulation of Lagrangian mechanics on jet bundles, also in presence of
non-holonomic constrains.
- Michel theory of symmetry breaking and application of Partial Differential Equations and
Gauge Theories.
- Generalization of Hamiltonian formalism.
- Variational principles and Exterior Differential Systems (EDS).
- Symmetries and reduction for Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations.
