Giosuè Carducci ( 1835-1907), is an Italian poet who was born in Tuscany, near Pisa. He won a Nobel Prize for his literature in 1906. Through his poetry he is like a painter, the way he describes the awakening of nature, the sounds of children's’ laughter and the radiant glow of women. However, the turmoil of loosing his son at such a young age is evident and returned in his introduction to snakes and nettles in his poetry.
