The University of Parma offers a unique opportunity for 2 students from European Universities to
do an internship at the Servizio Scambi Didattici Internazionali e Accoglienza Docenti e Studenti
Stranieri of the University, within the framework of the LLP-Erasmus Placement.
The University of Parma is an institution with a strong international profile. Close ties with almost
350 universities world-wide form the basis for the mobility of students, professors and staff, as
well as several projects in teaching and research. The Servizio Scambi Didattici Internazionali
handles mobility flow for more than 400 outgoing and 400 incoming students, together with
outgoing and incoming teaching staff.
DETAILS ON THE INTERNSHIP
Duration of internship:
internship 3 months
Possible internship period:
period 02nd July – 28th September 2012
Working hours:
hours 20 hours/week
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
The Office is looking for someone to support the team during the registration of exchange
students for the fall/winter semester, as well as organising welcoming events for incoming
students.
Moreover, the student will prepare documents in English as well as translate promotional material
from IT > EN or vice versa.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

B1 knowledge of Italian

C1 knowledge of English

Preferably studying Humanities/Communication/Foreign Languages

Good organizational skills

Good use of the computer (mainly Microsoft Office OS)

FINANCIAL SUPPORT?
Students will have to apply for Erasmus funding through their home University
ACCOMMODATION?
It is possible to find accommodation in private flats, one or two-room apartments or in flats
shared with other students. The Servizio Scambi Didattici Internazionali will give you a list of
possible accommodation to choose from and will assist you on this matter.
