Education:
1988 Graduated in Architecture from the University of Naples, with a thesis in architectural and
urban planning entitled “Urban Requalification and Infrastructures in Suburban Areas”. Graduated
cum laude in Architecture.
Teaching Experience:
• Tutor and examiner in the “Technology of Construction Materials” at Bari Polytechnic, Faculty
of Architecture, with Professor Giancarlo Casanova. Lectured, supervised student exercises
and projects, and was a member of the examining commission from 1991 to 1993.
• Tutor and examiner in the “Materials and projecting of constructive elements” at Bari
Polytechnic, Faculty of Architecture, with Professor Giancarlo Casanova. Lectured, supervised
student exercises and projects, and was a member of the examining commission from
1993/2006.
• Collaborated with Professor Giovanni Tortorici in the organisation of the MSc in European
Construction.
• Lectured in English on “Local Architecture in Apulia: Castles, Cathedrals and Rural
Constructions”, as part of the aforementioned MSc course from 1994 to 1997.

Portugal 1998.

Professional Achievements:
• Since 1988 she has been a partner of de Marco group, involved in all the architectural projects
of public and private building carried out by the group.
• Among the most important buildings planned and executed:
• Two funeral chapels in the cemetery of Zapponeta (FG), commissioned by the local
authority;
• Residential and commercial complex in Bari, called “Contrada Barone”, privately
commissioned.
• New Urban Form for Piazza delle Erbe in the old town of Molfetta, commissioned by the
Molfetta local authority
• Gymnasium for the Mediterranean Games, commissioned by the City of Bari.
• Refurbishment of the ducal palace of Erchie, Brindisi, commissioned by the Erchie local
authority.
• Refurbishment of crypt and chapel of the Sanctuary of Santa Lucia in Erchie, Brindisi,
commissioned by the Diocese of Oria.
• Conversion of industrial complex for use as training school for building trades, privately
commissioned.
• Restoration and conversion of early twentieth-century building for residential use, privately
commissioned.
• Factory building for graphics works in the Bari industrial zone, privately commissioned.
• Landscaping for the Bari youth sport and recreation training centre, privately commissioned.
• Refurbishment of the old S. Francesco Monastery, commissioned by the Diocese of
Manfredonia (FG).
