In auto
La Valbelluna è raggiungibile da sud percorrendo l’autostrada A27 (uscita di Cadola) e poi, raggiunta Belluno, scegliendo tra la strada statale
del Passo Rolle (n. 50) e la Strada Provinciale della
Sinistra Piave (n. 1). Da nord la città di Belluno è raggiungibile percorrendo la Strada Statale di Alemagna (n. 51).
Feltre è raggiungibile da Vicenza percorrendo l’autostrada
della Val d’Astico A31 (uscita Dueville), proseguendo poi
lungo la statale 47 (della Valsugana) quasi fino a Primolano, e quindi un tratto della statale 50 bis, poi 50. Per chi
proviene dalla Valsugana (es. uscendo dall’autostrada del
Brennero - A22 - a Trento) in direzione nord-sud, l’accesso
è lo stesso, dall’altezza di Primolano. Un accesso alternativo
da nord è rappresentato dal Passo Rolle.
In treno
Feltre e Belluno sono servite dalla linea ferroviaria PadovaMontebelluna-Feltre-Belluno-Calalzo anche con servizio di
trasporto biciclette (Padova-Feltre 83 Km in circa 1 ora e
30 minuti, Feltre-Belluno 31 Km in 30 minuti). Treni diretti
da Venezia per Belluno sono convogliati sulla linea VeneziaTreviso-Conegliano-Ponte nelle Alpi-Belluno (120 Km in
circa 2 ore).
In aereo:
L’aeroporto più vicino è quello di Treviso, in un’ora e mezza
di treno circa si arriva alla stazione di Belluno o Feltre. Altrimenti a 2 ore di viaggio in treno vi è l’aeroporto di Venezia.
GETTING HERE
The Dolomiti Prealpi area is easy to reach by train, by car or
by airplane.
By car:
Valbelluna can be reached from south along the A27 motorway (exit Cadola) and then, reached Belluno, choosing
the main road of Passo Rolle (no. 50) or the Provincial Road
of Sinistra Piave (no.1). From north, the city of Belluno can
be reached along the main road Alemagna (no.51). Feltre is reachable from Vicenza along the A31 Val d’Astico
highway (exit Dueville), then continue along the SS 47 (of
Valsugana) almost to Primolano and then a stretch of the
50a highway, then 50. Coming from Valsugana (eg coming from the A22 Brennero’s highway) in the north-south
direction, the access is the same, from Primolano. An alternative access from north is represented by Passo Rolle.
By train:
Feltre and Belluno are served by the railway line Padua-Montebelluna-Feltre-Belluno-Calalzo also with bicycle
transport (Padua-Feltre 83 km in about 1 hour and 30
minutes, Feltre-Belluno 31 km in 30 minutes). Direct trains
from Venice to Belluno are conveyed on the Venice-Treviso-Conegliano-Ponte nelle Alpi-Belluno line (120 km in
about 2 hours).
By airplane:
The nearest airport is that of Treviso, in an hour and a half
by train you will arrive at the train station of Belluno and
Feltre. Otherwise in a 2-hour train ride there is the airport
of Venice.
ANREISE
Mit dem Zug, mit dem Auto oder mit dem Flugzeug sind die
Dolomiten-Voralpen leicht erreichbar.
Auto:
Das Piavetal ist vom Süden über die Autobahn A 27
(Ausfahrt Cadola) erreichbar. Wenn man Belluno erreicht,
biegt man ab auf die Staatstraße Passo Rolle (N. 50) und
die Landstraße an der linken Seite des Flusses Piave (N.
1). Vom Norden her ist die Stadt Belluno über die Staatstraße Alemagna (N. 51) erreichbar. Feltre erreicht man von
Vicenza aus über die Autobahn Val d’Astico A 31 (Ausfahrt
Dueville), dann über die Staatstraße 47 (Valsugana) bis in
die Nähe von Primolano, schließlich befährt man einen Teil
der Staatstraße 50bis und schlussendlich die Staatsstraße
50. Wenn man aus Richtung des Suganertal (Valsugana)
kommt (z.B. von der Autobahn Brenner – A22 – Trient),
fährt man ab Primolano denselben Weg. Ein alternativer
Zugang aus Norden ist die Straße über den Rollepass (Passo Rolle).
Zug:
Feltre und Belluno sind über die Bahnstrecke Padova-Montebelluna-Feltre-Belluno-Calalzo verbunden. Fahrräder können auch transportiert werden. (Padova-Feltre,
83 km, in ca. 1 Stunde und 30 Minuten; Feltre-Belluno, 31
km, in 30 Minuten). Die direkten Züge Venedig-Belluno
werden über die Bahnstrecke Venezia-Treviso-Conegliano- Ponte nelle Alpi-Belluno geleitet (120 km in ca. 2
Stunden).
Flugzeug:
Der nächstgelegene Flughafen ist in Treviso, in ca. 90 Minuten mit dem Zug erreicht man von dort den Bahnhof
Belluno oder Feltre. Vom Flughafen von Venedig erreicht
man Feltre oder Belluno in 2 Stunden mit dem Zug.

the discovery of the villas in the Feltre piedmont. As
Dino Buzzatti wrote in “La mia Belluno” (My Belluno):“

che ancora sopravvivono”(they express a civilization
and a serenity that can still be perceived today). From
one villa to the other. The charming gardens, frescoes,
stuccoworks, staircases and the reminiscence of ancient
times will stimulate your sight and fantasy. There will
also be a small but interesting wander from the topic,
by visiting a precious small monumental church, treasuring one of the most beautiful artwork by the skilful
artist Lorenzo Luzzo. Dinner at Birreria di Pedavena (Pedavena brewery), where an authentic Dolomiti menu
will be served.
Sabato
Arrivo a Feltre per le ore 15.00, deposito bagagli in alloggio e ritrovo con la guida per partire
alla scoperta delle Ville della Pedemontana Feltrina. Come scrisse Dino Buzzatti in “La mia
Belluno”:“ […] esse esprimono una civiltà e una serenità di vita che ancora sopravvivono”.
Di villa in villa. Incantevoli giardini, affreschi, stucchi, scalinate e l’eco di un tempo che fu,
stuzzicheranno la vista oltre che la fantasia. Piccola ma interessante divagazione dal tema la
visita ad una preziosa chiesetta monumentale che custodisce una delle più belle opere del
valente artista Lorenzo Luzzo. Cena presso l’antica Birreria di Pedavena, dove sarà possibile
gustare un vero e proprio menù “dolomitico”.
Domenica
Protagonista della mattinata l’antica città fortificata di Feltre. Passeggeremo attraverso le vie
di questa arroccata città medievale, con lo splendore dei suoi affreschi cinquecenteschi e
dei preziosi resti archeologici romani. Ci soffermeremo ad osservare palazzi e chiese di pregio assoluto con possibilità di visita ai vari musei di Feltre. Gusteremo l’ottima cucina locale
presso un ristorante della città: in un ambiente curato e raccolto, sapori e profumi, aromi ed
armonie, vi coccoleranno e vi faranno riscoprire il piacere di stare insieme.

main event. We will walk through the roads of this
perched Medieval town, admiring its sixteenth century
frescos and precious Roman archaeological remains.
During the visit we will stop to observe prestigious

Feltre und antike Villen in den Dolomiten

Samstag
Ankunft in Feltre um 15.00. Das Gepäck kann in die
Unterkunft gebracht werden. Anschließend Treffen mit
dem Touristenführer, um zur Entdeckung der Villen des
Feltriner Vorgebirges aufzubrechen. Wie Dino Buzzatti
in „Mein Belluno” schrieb: „[…] sie drücken eine Zivilisation und Heiterkeit des Lebens aus, die noch immer
überleben”. Von einer Villa zur anderen. Zauberhafte
Gärten, Fresken, Stuck, Treppen und das Echo vergangener Zeiten regen das Auge und die Fantasie an. Ein
kleines, aber interessantes Abschweifen vom Thema,
ist die Besichtigung einer wertvollen, monumentalen
Kapelle, in der eines der schönsten Werke des begabten
Künstlers Lorenzo Luzzo aufbewahrt wird. Abendessen
in der antiken Brauerei Pedavena, in der man ein echtes
„dolomitisches” Menü probieren kann.

Im Mittelpunkt des Vormittags steht die antike Festungsstadt Feltre. Wir spazieren durch die Straßen
dieser bewehrten, mittelalterlichen Stadt, bewundern
ihre Fresken aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und die wertvollen archäologischen Überreste aus der Römerzeit. Wir
bleiben stehen und betrachten kostbare Paläste und
Kirchen. Einige Museen von Feltre kann man besuchen. In einem Restaurant der Stadt probieren wir die
köstliche einheimische Küche: In einer gepflegten und
familiären Umgebung werden Sie mit schmackhaften
Speisen, Duft, Aroma und Harmonie verwöhnt und
entdecken das gesellige Beisammensein neu.

Saturday
The tour starts at lunch time: a cosy restaurant will let
you discover the taste and aroma of mountain cheese.
A meal prepared with dairy products, made following
the traditions of local dairy shops. The afternoon will
continue visiting a renowned winery of Valbelluna: a
company with a robust tradition, dating back to the
early years of 21st century, a time when viticulture was
an important source of income for the families in this
territory. Passion, care and high devotion led to the
success of our wineries; a special local wine type has
recently been awarded a prestigious recognition in the
field. Dinner will be prepared with and accompanied
by these wines for you to better appreciate and taste
them.
Sunday
The Belluno brewing tradition dates back to 1800.
Here another innovative product linked to beer was
invented and produced for decades: “bovis”, a famous
food seasoning. Beer will therefore be the leitmotif of
today’s visits and the dishes you are going to taste. The
programme includes a visit to the historical Pedavena
brew house, where all phases of brewing and the magic
beyond a good glass of light beer will be explained. The
typical lunch will be at the adjacent restaurant, with a
menu of dishes prepared with hop.

Il nostro percorso non poteva che iniziare all’ora di pranzo. Un accogliente ristorante ci farà
scoprire i sapori ed i profumi dei formaggi di montagna. Un pranzo preparato con prodotti
lattiero-caseari, nati secondo la tradizione delle latterie della zona. Il pomeriggio continuerà
con la visita ad una rinomata azienda vinicola della Valbelluna. Un’azienda con una profonda tradizione, che ha radici agli inizi del Novecento, momento in cui la viticultura risultava
essere una fonte importante di sostentamento per le famiglie della zona. Passione, cura ed
estrema dedizione hanno portato al successo le nostre aziende vinicole. Una particolare
varietà di vino autoctono ha di recente vinto un prestigioso premio del settore. La cena sarà
preparata ed accompagnata da questi vini, che avrete così la possibilità di conoscere ed
assaporare al meglio.
Domenica
La tradizione della fabbricazione della birra in Provincia di Belluno risale addirittura al 1800.
Un’altra innovativa produzione legata alla birra, il “Bovis”, il celebre condimento alimentare,
fu qui inventato e prodotto per decenni. Birra quindi protagonista delle visite odierne ed accompagnatrice ufficiale dei piatti che degusterete. Visita al birrificio della storica fabbrica di
Pedavena. Verranno illustrate tutte le fasi della lavorazione e di tutta la magia che sta dietro
un bicchiere della bionda bevanda. Ovviamente il pranzo, tipicamente dolomitico, avverrà
presso l’adiacente ristorante, con un menù preparato con la preziosa essenza di luppolo.

Samstag
Wie kann es anders sein, unsere Tour beginnt zur
Mittagszeit. Ein gemütliches Restaurant lässt uns
den Geschmack und den Duft der Bergkäsesorten
entdecken. Ein Mittagessen, das mit Milchprodukten
zubereitet wird, die traditionell aus den Molkereien der
Ferienregion erzeugt werden. Am Nachmittag ist der
Besuch eines renommierten Winzerbetriebs angesagt.
Ein Unternehmen mit tiefgreifender Tradition, dessen
Gründung auf die ersten Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts
zurückgeht, als der Weinbau noch eine wichtige
Grundlage für den Unterhalt der Familie in diesem
Gebiet darstellte. Begeisterung, Sorgfalt und äußerste
Konzentration haben zum Erfolg unserer Winzerbetriebe geführt. Eine besondere Sorte des einheimischen
Weines hat vor Kurzem einen wertvollen Preis der
Branche gewonnen. Diese Weine werden das Abendessen begleiten, die beste Gelegenheit sie zu kosten und
kennenzulernen.
Sonntag
Die Tradition des Bierbrauens geht in der Provinz
Belluno auf das 19. Jahrhundert zurück. Das berühmte
Würzmittel “Bovis” (Bierhefeextrakt), eine weitere,
innovative Herstellung, die mit dem Bier verknüpft ist,
wurde hier erfunden und jahrzehntelang hergestellt.
Bier steht heute im Mittelpunkt der Besichtigungen und
ist offizieller Begleiter der Gerichte, die Ihnen serviert
werden. Besichtigung der historischen Brauerei in Pedavena. Alle Verarbeitungsphasen werden veranschaulicht und der gesamte Zauber, der sich hinter einem
Glas des blonden Getränks verbirgt, wird sichtbar. Das
typisch dolomitische Mittagessen, das ein Menü mit
der blonden Hopfenessenz umfasst, findet im daneben
liegenden Restaurant statt.

The weekend starts from Santuario dei SS. Vittore e
Corona in Feltre, a spirit sanctuary leading you to “Piaza
del Diaol” (the devil’s square), in the Vette Feltrine, a magic place. You will meet at 10 am and visit the Santuario
S.S. Vittore e Corona in Anzù, a convent perched on a
dominant rock, whose origins date back to the year
1000, formerly a fortified castle, then a place of worship.
The visit is followed by a suggestive lunch within the
convent tasting typical dishes. In the afternoon, various
walks on Monte Avena can be taken. In the evening,
arrived downstream, you will enjoy a Dolomiti dinner at
the historical Birreria di Pedavena (Pedavena brewery),
one of the most ancient in Italy.
Sunday
Departure at 7.30 am from Croce d’Aune for a day in the
Vette Feltrine to reach the shelter at 1993 m of altitude,
located at the core of Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi. The path follows a track and then a characteristic military road, built during the first World War, taking you
to the top. From the shelter, the trekking can be further
extended, depending on return times and individual
skills. The sight from “Circhi delle Vette”, the destination
of the high path walkers, is unforgettable. Geological
evolution and glaciers action melted with the legends
of those humans who have enriched the “buse” (channels) with thousands of shades. Shelters and alpine huts
are rest areas. Memorable views, pure nature. You will
enjoy sumptuous florescence with rare endemic species
in green high-altitude grazing where herds and typical
alpine animals can be found. The path will be modular,
you can decide to lengthen or shorten it as you prefer.
It is not a speed race, we climb on mountains like in a
conscious, relaxed and satisfying path through the life,
smells and colours of the protected mountain.
Note on lunch: for those who climb on the Vette, a
packed lunch is offered by the accommodation. You
can alternatively have lunch at the high-altitude shelter.
Please communicate the option chosen at the hotel the
night before the excursion.

Dal paradiso all’inferno e ritorno

Sabato
Inizia al Santuario dei SS. Vittore e Corona a Feltre questo weekend che, da un
santuario dello spirito vi condurrà alla “Piaza del Diaol” (Piazza del diavolo), nelle
Vette Feltrine, luogo magico della natura. Alle ore 10.00 ritrovo e visita al Santuario
S.S. Vittore e Corona ad Anzù, convento le cui origini si perdono fino all’anno 1000,
che prima fu castello fortificato e poi sede di culto fino ai nostri giorni, arroccato
su di una rupe dominante. Finita la visita si procede al pranzo alquanto suggestivo
organizzato all’interno dello stesso con specialità tipiche. Nel pomeriggio possibilità di svariate passeggiate sul Monte Avena. La sera, scesi a Valle, vi aspetta una
cena dolomitica
Domenica
Partenza alle ore 7.30 da Croce d’Aune per una giornata tra le Vette Feltrine con
obiettivo il Rifugio, 1993 slm, in pieno Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi. Il
percorso si svolge in sentiero e poi su una caratteristica strada militare, costruita
durante il primo conflitto mondiale, che porterà in quota. Dal rifugio stesso ulteriore possibilità di estendere, in base ai tempi di rientro ed alle capacità individuali, il
trekking. I “Circhi delle Vette”, meta dei camminatori nel percorso in alto, sono uno
spettacolo indimenticabile. L’evoluzione geologica ed il lavoro dei ghiacciai si sono
uniti alle leggende degli uomini che hanno caricato di mille sfumature le spettacolari “Buse”. Punti d’appoggio il rifugio e la malga. Panorami memorabili, natura allo
stato puro. Sontuose fioriture, con rari endemismi botanici, in verdissimi pascoli
di alta quota frequentati da mandrie di armenti e popolati dai tipici animali alpini.
Il percorso sarà modulare, ognuno potrà decidere di allungarlo o accorciarlo a
piacimento. Non è una gara di velocità, il nostro andar per monti, ma un consapevole, rilassato, appagante percorso tra la vita, i profumi ed i colori della montagna
protetta.
La quota, valida da maggio a settembre, comprende:

Samstag
Die Tour des Wochenendes beginnt an der Feltriner
Wallfahrtskirche des Heiligen Geistes, die den Heiligen
Vittore und Corona gewidmet ist, und führt zur “Piaza
del Diaol”(Teufelsplatz) auf den Gipfeln von Feltre, einem
zauberhaften Ort der Natur. Man trifft sich um 10.00 Uhr
und besichtigt die Wallfahrtskirche der Heiligen Vittore
und Corona in Anzù, einem Kloster, dessen Gründung
etwa auf das Jahr 1000 zurückzuführen ist, ursprünglich
war es eine Festung und wurde dann bis in die heutige
Zeit zur Kultstätte. Das Bauwerk ruht auf einem mächtigen Felsen. Nach der Besichtigung isst man dort recht
eindrucksvoll auch zu Mittag, geboten werden typische,
einheimische Spezialitäten. Am Nachmittag kann man
auf den Pfaden des Monte Avena spazieren gehen. Nach
der Rückkehr ins Tal erwartet Sie am Abend ein dolomitisches Abendessen in der historischen Brauerei-Gaststätte
Pedavena, eine der ältesten Italiens.
Sonntag
Start zu den Gipfeln Feltres in Croce d’Aune um 7.30
Uhr, das Ziel ist die Schutzhütte, die mitten im Nationalpark der Belluneser Dolomiten 1993 m ü.d.M. liegt. Die
Strecke, die nach oben führt, ist erst ein Pfad und anschließend eine typische Militärstraße, die während des
Ersten Weltkriegs angelegt wurde. Von der Schutzhütte
aus kann man je nach Zeit und den eigenen Fähigkeiten das Trekking noch weiter ausdehnen. Die “Kare
der Gipfel”, das Ziel der Wanderer auf dem Höhenpfad,
sind ein unvergessliches Schauspiel. Die geologische
Entwicklung und die Arbeit der Gletscher verschmolzen
mit den Erzählungen der Einwohner und dichteten den
spektakulären “Buse” (durch den Gletscher geformte Kare)
tausend Varianten an. Ausgangspunkte: die Schutzhütte
und die Alm. Eindrucksvolle Ausblicke, Natur in ihrer reinsten Form. Eine Blütenpracht mit seltenen, endemischen
Pflanzen, auf hochgelegenen, sattgrünen Weiden, auf
denen Viehherden grasen und typische Alpentiere leben.
Die Strecke kann nach Lust und Laune verlängert oder

Water adventures

Saturday
The adventure starts at 9 am after having dropped off
the luggage at the accommodation. Two excursions
have been organized for the first day, for which the
guide will provide a rent equipment to those who need
it. First, we will descend an extremely beautiful gorge,
impressive but easy, suitable both to beginners and
enthusiasts. The surrounding will impress you for its
continuity, low light and the peculiar beauty of contrasts. Having regained energy with a packed lunch, we
will move to the second canyon following a highly fascinating path from the geological point of view, inserted
in a very narrow but not deep gorge, a really funny
experience, where technical expertise is not necessarily
required, making it therefore suitable to many people.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Sunday
After a rich breakfast we leave with the guide. Thanks
to yesterday’s training, today a more challenging
excursion can be embarked on. The gorges of this area
are quite small, but are definitely the most beautiful
and amazing of the entire area, indeed they belong
to the “geological monuments” of Prealpi Bellunesi. A
satisfying and fulfilling day that couldn’t have a better
end than a delicious lunch in company. The lunch at
the shelter, with typical Val Belluna dishes, will be the
perfect end to this weekend dedicated to sport, nature
and adrenaline.
Note: weather conditions and the quantity of stream
water could change the descent conditions. The guide
will be entitled to decide whether to partially or totally
modify the programme, to safeguard the attendees’
safety.

Avventure d’acqua

Sabato
Dopo aver sistemato i bagagli in alloggio entro le 9.00 del mattino, si parte all’avventura. Per
questa giornata sono state organizzate due uscite per le quali la guida fornirà l’attrezzatura
a noleggio a chi ne fosse sprovvisto. La prima discesa verrà fatta in una forra di eccezionale
bellezza, imponente ma facile, adatta sia alle persone meno esperte che agli appassionati.
Vi troverete in un ambiente che impressiona per la sua continuità, la poca luce filtrante e
la singolare bellezza dei contrasti. Dopo aver recuperato le energie grazie ad uno sfizioso
pranzo al sacco, ci sposteremo nella zona del secondo canyon. Un percorso estremamente
affascinante a livello geologico, inserito in una gola molto stretta ma non molto profonda,
particolarmente divertente, dove le conoscenze tecniche non sono prevalenti e quindi
adatta a molti. Cena e pernottamento a conclusione della giornata.
Domenica
Dopo una ricca colazione si parte, sempre in compagnia della guida. Dopo il buon allenamento di ieri si prosegue con una parte un po’ più impegnativa. Le forre di questa zona
hanno dimensioni piuttosto ridotte, ma sono sicuramente le più belle ed affascinanti
dell’area, infatti sono parte dei “monumenti geologici” delle Prealpi Bellunesi. Una giornata
gratificante ed appagante. Alla fine niente di meglio di un buon pranzo in compagnia. Il
pranzo in rifugio, con piatti tipici della tradizione della Val Belluna, concluderà al meglio
questo week-end di sport, natura ed adrenalina.

Samstag
Nach dem Ausladen des Gepäcks in der Unterkunft
bis 9.00 morgens, beginnt das Abenteuer. Für diesen
Tag wurden zwei Ausflüge organisiert, für die man die
Ausrüstung beim Bergführer mieten kann, falls man
keine eigene dabei haben sollte. Der erste Abstieg ist
in einer außergewöhnlich schönen Schlucht vorgesehen, die gewaltig aussieht, aber leicht auch für wenig
Erfahrene zu bewältigen ist. Hier ist die Umgebung
für die Kontinuität, das wenig gefilterte Licht und die
einzigartige Schönheit der Kontraste eindrucksvoll .
Nachdem man mit einem leckeren Lunchpaket wieder
zu Kräften gekommen ist, begeben wir uns in den
zweiten Canyon. Unter geologischem Blickpunkt eine
äußerst faszinierende Strecke, die durch einen sehr
schmalen Engpass führt und recht vergnüglich ist, da
man keine besondere Erfahrung haben muss, eignet
sie sich für viele. Der Tag endet mit Abendessen und
Übernachtung.
Sonntag
Nach einem üppigen Frühstück wird, immer in Begleitung des Führers, aufgebrochen. Nach dem guten Training des Vortages, nimmt man eine etwas schwierigere
Strecke in Angriff. In diesem Gebiet sind die Schluchten
ziemlich kurz, aber sie gehören zu den schönsten und
faszinierendsten des Gebiets, schließlich sind sie ein Teil
der “Geologischen Monumente” der Belluneser Voralpen. Ein gelungener, schöner Tag. Als Abschluss gibt es
nicht Besseres als ein gutes Mittagessen in angenehmer
Gesellschaft. Das Mittagessen in der Almhütte mit
traditionellen Gerichten des Belluneser Tals beschließt
dieses Wochenende im Zeichen des Sports, der Natur
und mit viel Adrenalin.

(typical snowshoes): in the morning you will explore the
Cansiglio upland and the Cimbri village. The Cimbri people
was a Germanic tribe, settling here at the end of the 2nd
century B.C. and whose descendants still live in the area.
Cimbri peoples are one of the three linguistic minorities
officially recognized in the Belluno province, enriching the
Belluno Dolomiti valleys cultural heritage.
Lunch has been organized at a restaurant in the area,
starting point for the afternoon excursion. You will discover
another magic sweep, a soft plain covered in snow, from
which breech and spruce woods start populating the
surrounding mountain ranges. The evening is free for you
to choose the restaurant that most suits you for dinner (not

Today one of the dreams many people had as a child will
become true: as in many adventurous movies, you will run
on immense snow lands on a sleigh pulled by splendid

esplorare la parte dell’altopiano del Cansiglio dove è situato un villaggio cimbro. I cimbri
erano una tribù germanica che si insediarono alla fine del II sec a.C. ed i cui discendenti
ancora oggi abitano queste zone. Le popolazioni cimbre sono una delle tre minoranze linguistiche riconosciute ufficialmente in provincia di Belluno e che arricchiscono il
patrimonio culturale delle vallate dolomitiche bellunesi. Il pranzo è stato previsto in un
ristorante situato in quell’area, da cui partirà anche l’escursione del pomeriggio. Scoprirete
così un’altra incantata distesa, una morbida piana ricoperta di neve, dalla quale cominciano
ad estendersi, sui circostanti rilievi, i boschi di faggio ed abete. Avrete poi la possibilità di

Cansiglio-Hochebene erkunden, in der das zimbrische Dorf
liegt. Die Zimbern waren ein germanischer Volksstamm,
der sich am Ende des 2. Jahrhunderts vor Christus hier niederließ und dessen Nachkömmlinge noch heute in diesem
Gebiet leben. Die zimbrische Bevölkerung in der Provinz
Belluno ist eine der drei sprachlichen Minderheiten, die
offiziell anerkannt sind, sie bereichern das kulturelle Erbe
der Belluneser Dolomitentäler. Das Mittagessen ist in einem
Restaurant dieses Gebiets vorgesehen, auch der Ausflug am
Nachmittag startet von hier. Entdecken Sie auf diese Weise

On the crest of the sunset

Thursday
Arrival at the accommodation by 10 pm.
Friday
Departure at 8 am from the accommodation autonomously or by
transfer (if requested beforehand) to reach the path starting point
not far away. You will then climb on forest roads among woods and
panoramic plains: real balconies on Valbelluna, surrounded by the
mounts of Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi. You will reach the
top gradually. The path is quite accessible even with snow, being
equipped with “ciaspe” (typical snowshoes) is recommended to
ease the walk. After some short steer paths, you will pass the wood
threshold and reach the summit grazing. You will see different
scenarios, from the mid-mountain environment with rural life
mainly made of cattle breeding, that day after day, season after
season, year after year has shaped postcard landscapes with wide
cut grasslands, spaced out by wood and hedges, so looked after as
to resemble an ancient painting. Climbing, the cultures of wood,
breeches and spruces of significant size will prevail and the new
clearings, opened as consequence of the controlled plant cutting,
offer new vital room to wood animals diversifying the environment:
deer and roe deer accompanied by the frequent flight, the unmistakable call or the resonant echoing beating of the black woodpecker.
In the evening, dinner with local menu and a good glass of wine to
talk about the day.
Saturday
Departure at 8 am autonomously or by transfer (if requested beforehand) to reach a nearby spectacle of nature taking us towards the
roots of earth and its geologic history: a deep engraving in the rock,
created by thousands of years of water streams, shaping gorges and
cracks, uncovering stratified multicoloured rocks, traced by a crystal
clear water reflecting its shapes. In winter, the frozen temperatures
offer further fantasy landscapes to the visitors of Brent de l’Art
(canyon). If safety conditions are favourable, walking on the frozen
stream and exploring the canyon will be an exiting experience to
live. Spectacle of nature mixed with a pinch of adventure. Packed
lunch provided by the accommodation. In the afternoon, we will
change side but following the same topic of “mother earth” and its
deep shades. In one of the main valleys in Parco Nazionale Dolomiti
Bellunesi, we will investigate the basis of the mighty walls of Monte
Schiara (UNESCO Heritage) a mixture of earth and human evolution.
Another unique scenario: Buss del Buson, a deep fault generated
by the rock detachment and the erosion of a pre-historical stream,
where thousands of years of earth history can be counted on rock
layers as on a tree circles and an archaeological site of European
value dating back to Neolithic that has been inhabited since the
copper era.
Sunday
The morning is devoted to rural life, drawing excellent products
from nature. The old dairy store is preserving a secular management system, where milk processing from cattle fed with mountain
pastures becomes round soap shapes. An agricultural company,
precious guard of the territory that with organic seeds breeds goats
and produces tasty cheese, will welcome you for a gastronomic
goodbye from Dolomiti Bellunesi.

Sulle creste dei tramonti

Giovedì
Arrivo in alloggio entro le ore 22.00.
Venerdì
Ore 8.00 partenza dall’alloggio, con mezzi propri o con transfer (se richiesto preventivamente) per
percorrere il breve tratto di trasferimento per raggiungere l’inizio del percorso. Si sale poi a piedi per
strade forestali tra boschi misti e pianori panoramici, che sono veri e propri balconi sulla Valbelluna
con il corollario dei monti del Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi. Ci portiamo gradualmente in quota.
Buona la percorribilità anche con la neve, la dotazione di ciaspe al seguito potrà tornare utile e facilitare
il cammino. Piccoli strappi in salita ed eccoci ad oltrepassare il limite del bosco e raggiungere i pascoli
di cresta. Spazieremo dagli ambienti di mezza montagna dove la vita rurale, fatta principalmente di
allevamento bovino, con l’opera quotidiana, di stagione in stagione, di anno in anno, ha modellato
scenografie da cartolina con gli ampi prati falciati, intervallati da boschi e siepi, così curati quasi da sembrare opera di pittori d’altri tempi. Salendo prevale la coltura del bosco, aceri e faggi di ragguardevoli
dimensioni e nuove radure, aperte dopo l’abbattimento controllato delle piante, offre nuovi spazi vitali
agli animali del bosco diversificando l’ambiente. Ecco allora cervi e caprioli che si accompagnano al
volo frequente, ai versi inconfondibili, o al sonoro battere echeggiante sui tronchi, del picchio nero. La
serata a cena, con menù locale ed un buon bicchiere, a raccontarsi la giornata appena trascorsa.
Sabato
Ore 8.00 partenza e breve trasferimento con mezzi propri (o con transfer se richiesto preventivamente)
per raggiungere uno spettacolo della natura che ci porterà verso le radici della terra e della sua storia
geologica: una profonda incisione nella roccia, operata nei millenni dall’acqua del torrente, che ha
scolpito forre e fessure scoprendo rocce stratificate e multicolori percorsa da un’acqua cristallina che
ne riflette le forme. D’inverno il gelo offre ulteriori fantasiose scenografie a chi visita i Brent de l’Art. Se
le condizioni di sicurezza lo permettono camminare sul torrente ghiacciato ed esplorare il canyon sarà
un’emozione da provare. Spettacolo della natura unito ad un pizzico di avventura. Pranzo al sacco fornito dall’alloggio. Il pomeriggio ci spostiamo di versante rimanendo in tema con la “madre terra” e le sue
sfumature profonde. Andremo ad indagare, in una delle valli principali del Parco Nazionale Dolomiti
Bellunesi, alla base delle poderose pareti del Monte Schiara – Patrimonio UNESCO – un condensato
dell’evoluzione del pianeta e dell’umanità. Ancora uno scenario unico: il Buss del Buson una profonda
faglia nata dal distacco della roccia e dall’erosione di un torrente preistorico dove contare, come gli
anelli di un albero, i millenni di storia del pianeta negli strati della roccia adagiati uno sull’altra ed al
contempo la presenza di un sito archeologico di rilevanza europea risalente al neolitico ed abitato fino
all’età del rame.
Domenica
Mattinata destinata alla vita rurale che dalla natura trae prodotti d’eccellenza. La vecchia latteria
turnaria di Valmorel, che continua un sistema di gestione secolare, dove la lavorazione del latte di quei
bovini, alimentati con i profumati foraggi della montagna, si trasforma in rotonde forme di sapore.
Un’azienda agricola, preziosa sentinella sul territorio che con sistemi biologici alleva capre e produce
gustosissimi formaggi, vi accoglierà con piacere per un gastronomico arrivederci dalle Dolomiti Bellunesi.

Donnerstag
Spätestes Eintreffen in der Unterkunft um 22 Uhr.
Freitag
8.00 Uhr Abfahrt von der Unterkunft mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug oder
einem Transfer (falls vorher angefragt) für die kurze Strecke bis zum
Ausgangspunkt der Tour. Zu Fuß geht es auf Forstwegen zwischen
Mischwald und panoramischen Plateaus bergauf, die letzteren sind regelrechte Balkons mit Ausblick auf das Valbelluna, das von den Bergen
des Nationalparks der Belluneser Dolomiten umgeben ist. Wir kommen
allmählich oben an. Die Begehbarkeit ist auch wenn Schnee liegt gut,
Schneeschuhe könnten sich als nützlich erweisen und den Fußmarsch
erleichtern. Kleine steile Stellen, die zu überwinden sind und schon
überschreiten wir die Waldgrenze und erreichen die Hochalmen. Wir
gehen von den Umgebungen des Mittelgebirges aus, in denen der
ländliche Lebensraum hauptsächlich auf Rinderzucht ausgerichtet ist.
Die tägliche Arbeit hat Saison für Saison und Jahr für Jahr ansichtskartenähnliche Szenen mit großen, abgemähten Wiesen geschaffen, die
von Wäldern und Hecken unterbrochen sind. All dies wirkt so gepflegt,
dass es das Werk eines Malers aus vergangenen Zeiten sein könnte.
Bergauf herrscht der Wald vor, Ahorn und Buchen von beachtlicher
Größe und neue Rodungen, die durch das kontrollierte Fällen der
Bäume entstanden sind, bieten den Waldtieren neuen Lebensraum
und gestalten die Umgebung vielfältiger. Oft sieht man Hirsche und
Rehe gemeinsam flüchten, hört das unverkennbare Röhren oder das
Echo des Klopfens eines Schwarzspechts auf einem Baumstamm. Beim
Abendessen mit einheimischer Speisenfolge und einem guten Tropfen
erzählt man dann vom soeben vergangenen Tag.
Samstag
Abfahrt um 8.00 Uhr und kurze Fahrt im eigenen Fahrzeug (oder mit
einem Transfer, falls vorher angefragt), um ein Naturschauspiel zu
erreichen, das uns zu den Ursprüngen der Erde und ihrer geologischen
Geschichte bringt: ein tief gehender Einschnitt im Fels, der durch das
Wasser des Wildbachs entstand und Schluchten und Risse prägte, die
mehrfarbige Felsschichten freilegten, durch die ein kristallklares Wasser
fließt,das die Formen widerspiegelt. Wer im Winter die Brent de l’Art
besucht, findet noch andere fantastische Szenografien vor, die durch
den Frost entstehen. Wenn die Sicherheit gewährleistet ist, kann man
auf dem vereisten Wildbach laufen und den Canyon erforschen, eine
Emotion, die man nicht auslasssen sollte. Einzigartiges Naturschauspiel
mit einem Hauch von Abenteuer. Von der Schutzhütte zubereitetes
Lunchpaket. Am Nachmittag bewegen wir uns hangabwärts, bleiben jedoch beim Thema “Mutter Erde” und ihren tief gehenden Nuancen. Wir
begeben uns in eines der Haupttäler des Nationalparks der Belluneser
Dolomiten, unten an den mächtigen Felswänden des Monte Schiara –
einem UNESCO-Welterbe – finden wir eine Mischung der Entwicklung
unseres Planeten und der Menschheit vor. Erneut ein einzigartiges
Szenarium: Das Buss del Buson ist eine tiefe Verwerfung, die durch das
Ablösen des Felsens und die Erosion eines prähistorischen Wildwassers entstand. Wie Baumringe kann man die übereinander liegende
Schichten des Felsens zählen, die Jahrtausende der Geschichte unseres
Planeten darstellen, gleichzeitig besichtigt man eine für ganz Europa
bedeutende Ausgrabungsstätte aus der Jungsteinzeit, die bis in die
Kupferzeit besiedelt war.
Sonntag
Der Vormittag ist dem Landleben gewidmet, das der Natur hervorragende Produkte gewinnt. Die alte Genossenschftsmolkerei setzt
eine Jahrhunderte alte Tradition fort, mit der sich die Milch der Kühe,
die mit duftendem Bergheu gefüttert werden, in runde aromatische
Käseformen verwandelt. Ein landwirtschaftlicher Betrieb, der nach den
Grundsätzen der ökologischen Landwirtschaft Ziegen züchtet und
ein wertvoller Vorreiter auf diesem Gebiet ist, stellt ausgezeichnete

ancient defensive walls and the overlooking Castello di Alboino and
Santuario dei Santi Vittore e Corona, whose history is still under study.
In winter, the beauty of Feltre better stands out: snow whitens roofs and
the wonderful Vette Feltrine, included in Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti

splendid ski slopes, suitable to the whole family. Beautiful walks and
paths with “ciaspe” (typical snowshoes) await those who don’t ski. This

for children who, thanks to the help of ski school teachers, can have
their first experience with this sport. Along the ski slopes many shelters
can be found, to have a rest at lunch time. In the afternoon you can
keep on skiing or decide to relax lying under the sun or taking a quite

Una giornata dedicata interamente allo sci: risalite fra i boschi di abete e splendide discese su piste
ottimamente preparate in grado di accontentare tutta la famiglia. Per chi non scia, belle passeggiate
o percorsi con le ciaspe. Quest’area sciistica è particolarmente adatta anche ai più piccoli, poiché offre
piste che non presentano pendenze molto significative. Con l’insegnamento degli esperti maestri della
Scuola di Sci i bambini potranno compiere le loro prime esperienze in questo sport. Lungo le piste sono
collocati vari rifugi che potranno offrirvi ristoro per l’ora di pranzo. Nel pomeriggio potrete ancora dilettarvi nello sci, oppure optare per rilassarvi distesi al sole o facendo una tranquilla passeggiata. Per non

für die ganze Familie eignen. Wer nicht Ski fährt, unternimmt schöne
Spaziergänge oder Schneeschuhwanderungen. Dieses Skigebiet eignet
sich besonders auch für die Kleinsten, es sind Pisten vorhanden, die
kein starkes Gefälle aufweisen. Im Unterricht mit den erfahrenen Lehrer
der Skischulen können die Kinder ihre ersten Erfahrungen in dieser
Sportart sammeln. Entlang der Pisten befinden sich einige Schutzhütten, die Ihnen zur Mittagszeit Stärkung bieten. Am Nachmittag können
Sie sich wieder mit den Skiern vergnügen oder sich in die Sonne legen
und entspannen oder in Ruhe spazieren gehen. Um das Kennenlernen

In the afternoon you will visit to Belluno old town centre, with its sixteenth century palaces, churches, porches and the many fascinating details that will surprise

nature interest. In the past, this valley was permanently
inhabited but over the years, due to the building of the
dam and the consequent artificial lake, submerging
all cultivable lands and some houses, it was eventually
abandoned. After lunch, you will visit the monumental
sanctuary in Nevegal and the western Alps botanic
garden within the natural reserve of Monte Faverghera,
living collection of samples of all alpine plants. Dinner

The morning destination is two museums representing
human labours. On the one hand the Ethnographic
museum in Seravella di Cesiomaggiore, which with
tools and images retraces in detail the labour of local
peoples who, in their spare time, cultivated the Belluno
mountain lands. On the other, the peculiar and unique
Bicycle museum representing the labour suffered in
part for necessity in part for pleasure and sport passion.
A good lunch downstream concludes the weekend
before greeting us in the Valle Unica where we are sure

Obiettivo della mattinata sono due musei che rappresentano le fatiche dell’uomo. Da una
parte il Museo Etnografico a Seravella di Cesiomaggiore che con attrezzi ed illustrazioni
ripercorre con dovizia di particolari le fatiche delle popolazioni locali che nel tempo hanno
coltivato le terre montane bellunesi. Dall’altro le fatiche sopportate un po’ per necessità, un
po’ per diletto ed un po’ per piacere sportivo: il singolare ed unico Museo della Bicicletta. Un
buon pranzo conclude il soggiorno, prima dell’arrivederci, perché siamo certi che vorrete

einer Alpenstadt in Staunen versetzen, Belluno ist
auf ihre kennzeichnende Bergwelt stolz. Wie es die
Tradition Bellunos vorschreibt, gönnt man sich gegen
Abend einen Aperitif. Nach dem Anstoßen erreichen Sie
einen der Aussichtspunkte mit Blick auf den Piave: Hier
können Sie das Schauspiel eines Sonnenuntergangs
im Valbelluna, der im Süden hinter dem Massiv des

Nach einem guten Frühstück wird eine typische
Molkerei der Berge Bellunos besucht, hier kann man die
unverfälschte Güte der traditionellen Käseherstellung
kosten, die ein außergewöhnliches Qualitätsniveau
erreicht. Die Tour wird in Richtung eines geschützten
Bereichs fortgesetzt, man betritt den Nationalpark der
Belluneser Dolomiten. Entdecken Sie Orte von seltener, naturbezogener Schönheit. In der Vergangenheit
war dieses Tal fest bewohnt, aber nach dem Bau des
Staudamms, und folglich der Schaffung des künstlichen
Sees, der das bebaute Land und einige Niederlassungen überschwemmte, wurde es verlassen. Nach dem
Mittagessen wird die monumentale Wallfahrtskirche
auf dem Nevegal und der Botanische Garten der
Ostalpen besucht, er liegt im Naturschutzgebiet des
Monte Faverghera, eine gedeihende Kollektion aller

An diesem Vormittag sind zwei Museen das Ziel, in
denen die Mühsal des Menschen gezeigt werden. Das
eine ist das Ethnografische Museum in Seravella di
Cesiomaggiore, das mit Werkzeugen und Abbildungen
sehr ausführlich die Schwerarbeit der einheimischen
Bevölkerung schildert, die in der Vergangenheit den
Boden der Belluneser Berge bebaut hat. Das andere
zeigt Anstrengungen, die teils gezwungenermaßen,
teils aus Spaß und teils aus sportlichem Ehrgeiz ertragen wurden: Das einzige und einzigartige Fahrradmuseum. Vor dem Abschied von diesem einzigartigen Tal
noch ein gutes Mittagessen, das den Aufenthalt im Tal
abschließt. Wir sind überzeugt, dass wir uns hier wieder

The cycling tour starts from Belluno, ancient town
of Celtic origin, now chief town of the wide Dolomiti
province. After a visit to the old town centre, we take
the road northwards. First we will stop at the ancient
convent of Certosa di Vedana along the way, then we
will go deeply into Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi.
An excursion can be taken going alongside a limpid
and pure stream, reaching wide grasslands where herds
of deer and roe deer are used to graze peacefully. After
the packed lunch, we reach a place rich in history and
landscapes: a glaze to one of the most ancient mansion
in Val belluna, beyond which a tomb of a Longobard
warrior was discovered. We will also visit two museums
of local culture: the Ethnographic museum and the
Bicycle museum in Cesiomaggiore, the first is located
in the nineteenth-century Villa Azzoni Avogradro in
Seravella and preserves the history of evolution of the
labour carried out in the these mountains; the latter
derives from years of passion for bicycles and exhibits
bicycles from the origins up to the models of recent
world records. Dinner and overnight stay have been
organized in Feltre. Luggage will not be a problem, the
package includes the sending of your luggage directly
to your accommodation.
Sunday
Today’s destination is Arsiè, a small town at the border of the Trento province. Its main attraction is the
wonderful lake on which the steep surrounding rocks
degrade. You can have a refreshing drink at the end
of the cycling tour, enjoying the clear water, the cool
breeze and the grassy shores. You can extend your tour
by taking one of the different paths around the town,
one of which takes you to the fort, residue of the Great
War, panoramic viewpoint, surrounded by huge grazing
with alpine huts and cows. The ancient fortress close
to the lake is another idea for a tour extension. At the
agreed time, the transfer will take you from the shores
to Belluno, carrying your bicycles too.

nord. Raggiungiamo in primis l’antico convento, la Certosa di Vedana, posto lungo il percorso,
per poi penetrare nel Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi. Si potrà compiere una piacevolissima
escursione fiancheggiando un limpido e puro torrente, fino a grandi prati dove, solitamente,
pascolano in tranquillità branchi di cervi e caprioli. Dopo aver pranzato al sacco, raggiungiamo
un luoghi ricchi di storia e di panorami: uno sguardo ad una delle antiche ville padronali della Val
Belluna, a dietro la quale è stata rinvenuta la sepoltura di un guerriero longobardo, e la visita a
due musei della cultura locale, il Museo Etnografico e quello della Bicicletta a Cesiomaggiore. Il
primo è ospitato in una location incantevole, l’ottocentesca Villa Azzoni Avogradro a Seravella, e
conserva la storia dell’evoluzione del lavoro agreste in queste montagne. Il secondo è il frutto di
anni di passione per le due ruote ed espone biciclette dalle origini ai modelli dei record mondiali.
Il pernottamento e la cena sono stati organizzati a Feltre. I bagagli non saranno un problema:
compreso nel pacchetto, infatti, è previsto il servizio che li recapita direttamente in alloggio.
Domenica
La meta odierna è Arsiè, un piccolo paese vicino ai confini con la Provincia di Trento. La sua più
grande attrattiva è lo splendido lago su cui degradano le ripide rocce circostanti. Le acque azzurre sfiorate dalla fresca arietta e la spiaggia erbosa saranno lo scenario perfetto dove sorseggiare
una dissetante bibita alla fine del nostro tour ciclistico. Attorno al paese ci sono vari percorsi
che permettono di estendere la vostra escursione. Uno di questi conduce al forte, residuo della
Grande Guerra, punto panoramico, contornato da gradi pascoli con malghe e mucche al pascolo.
Vicino al lago anche la Rocca antica è un ottimo spunto per un’altra piccola escursione. All’orario
concordato, presso la spiaggia, il transfer vi riporterà a Belluno, trasportando anche le biciclette.

Freitag
Ankunft in Belluno. Abendessen und Übernachtung.
Samstag
Die Radtour beginnt in Belluno, der antiken Stadt
keltischen Ursprungs, die heute die Hauptstadt der
weitläufigen Dolomitenprovinz ist. Nach der Besichtigung des historischen Stadtkerns, nehmen wir die
Straße Richtung Norden, die uns aus der Stadt führt.
Als Erstes erreichen wir die Kartause Vedana, die an der
Strecke liegt und kommen danach in den Nationalpark
der Belluneser Dolomiten. Entlang dem klaren und
sauberem Wildwasser kann man einen sehr schönen
Ausflug unternehmen, man erreicht große Wiesen, auf
denen häufig Hirschrudel und Rehe grasen. Nach dem
Verzehr des Lunchpakets erreichen wir geschichtsträchtige Orte und herrliche Ausblicke: Ein Blick auf eine
der antiken, herrschaftliche Villen des Val Belluna,
hinter ihr wurde die Grabstätte eines langobardischen
Kriegers gefunden, Besichtigung zweier Museen der
einheimischen Kultur, das ethnografische Museum und
das Fahrradmuseum in Cesiomaggiore. Ersteres ist in
einem zauberhaften Ort untergebracht, die Villa Azzoni
Avogradro a Seravella aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, in der
die Entwicklung der Arbeit im landwirtschaftlichen
Bereich dieser Berge aufbewahrt wird. Zweiteres ist das
Ergebnis einer jahrelangen Leidenschaft für Zweiräder,
ausgestellt sind Fahrräder, wie sie am Anfang aussahen
bis hin zu den Weltrekord-Modellen. Übernachtung
und Frühstück sind in Feltre reserviert. Mit dem Gepäck
gibt es keine Schwierigkeiten: Der direkte Transport des
Gepäcks in die Unterkunft ist im Paket enthalten.
Sonntag
Das heutige Ziel ist Arsiè, ein kleiner Ort in der Nähe der
Grenze zur Provinz Trient. Sein großer Anziehungspunkt
ist der herrliche See, zu dem die umliegenden steilen Felswände abfallen. Das von einer frischen Brise
gestreichelte blaue Wasser und der grasbewachsene
Strand sind das perfekte Szenarium für ein durststillendes Getränk nach unserer Radtour. Rund um den Ort
gibt es verschiedene Strecken, auf denen wir unseren
Ausflug ausdehnen können. Einer dieser Wege führt
zur Festung, ein Überbleibsel aus dem Ersten Weltkrieg,
heute ein Aussichtspunkt, der von großen Weiden mit
Schutzhütten und weidenden Kühen umgeben ist.
Ein optimales Ziel für eine weitere kleine Tour in der
Nähe des Sees ist der antike Felsen. Am Strand zum
vereinbarten Zeitpunkt trifft das Transportfahrzeug ein,
das Sie und auch die Fahrräder nach Belluno bringt.
