Young, Famous and British!
Not all film stars are American! Read about these two film stars
– they’re young, famous and British!
His name is Daniel Jacob Radcliffe. His date of birth
is 23rd July 1989 and he’s from Fulham, in south-west
London. His father’s name is Alan Radcliffe and his
mother’s name is Marcia Gresham. His father is a
literary agent and his mother is a casting agent.
The family has got two dogs. Their names are Binka
and Nugget. Daniel is famous for his part as Harry
Potter in the films of the books, including Harry Potter
and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the
Half-Blood Prince. Daniel, or Dan to his friends, is now
very rich. He’s got about £23 million and now he gets
about £8 million for every new film. Dan gives a lot of
money to charities. In his free time Dan likes playing
the bass guitar – his guitar teacher is Gary Oldman,
another famous actor. He’s a rock music enthusiast
and his favourite bands are The Beatles and Arctic
Monkeys. His hobbies are watching Formula 1 racing
and playing table tennis and video games and he’s a
fan of Fulham Football Club.
Kiera Knightley is her real name and her date of birth is 22nd of March,
1985. She’s from Teddington in south-west London. Now she’s a
Hollywood actress and her name is Keira (the spelling is different!).
Her father’s name is Will Knightley. He’s an actor in the theatre and
her mother is Sharman MacDonald. She’s
also an actress and an author. Keira has
got one brother. His name’s Caleb and
he’s five years older than Keira. She’s
famous for her roles in the films Bend it
like Beckham and the three Pirates of the
Caribbean films: The Curse of the Black
Pearl, Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s
End. In her free time Keira is a fan of West
Ham United Football Club. She’s also a
painter and her house in Richmond is full
of her paintings. Her friends are the Italian
actor Andrea Logiudice and the American
actress Sienna Miller.
