JOHQs mission
IT JOHQ is the HQ responsible for planning, preparation,
and direction of operations and national / multinational /
joint exercises
JOMSC (Joint Operational Modelling & Simulation
Centre)
provide support IOT accomplish this mission by creating
operational scenarios in a synthetic environment
M&S areas
Analysis: Support to OA, planning ((eg.
eg. Defence Planning).
Acquisition: Support to Procurement activity.
Training: Support to Education, Training e Exercise to various levels.
OPS Support: Operational planning support, training, conduct and evaluation phase to various levels.

What is a CAX
A CAX is a Command Post Exercise (CPX) in which computer
based simulation models are used to place commanders, staffs
and their command and control systems in an operationally
realistic environment in order to perform decision-making,
practice
staff
procedures
and
co-ordinate
between
headquarters.
