The Concluding Session of the XVI European Conference is aimed at both refrigeration technicians (installers and maintenance personnel) and manufacturers, in
order to provide an insight into the latest technologies of
the systems/plants.
The Conference – organised as always by the Centro
Studi Galileo in collaboration with the United Nations
and Regione Piemonte – counted a number of the
world’s leading experts among its presidents,
coordinators and speakers. This included the directors
of the International Institute of Refrigeration in Paris, the
FAO, major UN agencies, the French Association of
Refrigeration, AREA (the European Association of
Refrigeration and Air Conditioning that unifies all of the
comparable associations across Europe), etc.
Given the importance of the event, the introduction to
the Conference will be presented by the Deputy Minister
of Agriculture, Food and Forestry, Sen. Andrea Olivero.
The optimisation of refrigeration systems has, as an
objective, the improvement in the quality of food, and
this is also in line with the objective of the EXPO.
