Morando involved in social activities to voice all the dogs that every day help those people
who are facing psychophysical difficulties. There are many “little worlds” in which our fourfooted friends offer their support and give smiles. This is the subject contained in five videos
named "Friendly Paws: Petsparadise video-documentaries” .
Subjects of the Petsparadise magazine, published online in November, are:
Pet Therapy regulations in Italy: Interview with dr. Luca Farina, Director of the
national center for assisted interventions with animals.
Pet Therapy in hospital: Pet Therapy lesson in the “Spinal Unity” of Niguarda Hospital
(Milan), in collaboration with Dog4Life.
Children and dogs learn to grow up together: lesson of anthropology teaching in the
toy and game center of Segrate (Milan)
A help against Alzheimer's: meeting in «Casa Alzheimer», conducted by Mara Pinciroli
of IPSE (European psychological institute)
Dog’s training for therapy: Interview with Manuela Molteni, responsible of
Association SpazioPerNoi – applied zooanthropology.
Morando Spa, leading company in pet food, in partnership with Petsparadise, decided to
support the "Friendly Paws" project: a campaign of social solidarity to help some kennels in
need and to help directly our four-footed friends.
In November 2013, three videos (one per week) were shared on the Facebook page
"Migliorcane”.
For each video that exceeded 400 likes from users, Morando donated its Migliorcane
Professional products to a kennel in need.
As showed by the results success, Facebook users responded to the initiative with great
enthusiasm. 3 posts with “Zampe Amiche” videos indeed got:
More than 4.500 likes
More than 1.900 sharings
More than 200 comments
So, Morando succeeded in helping three kennels in Italy:
Hold “Gli Amici di Susy” in Villacidro, Medio Campidano (Sardinia)
Pavullo’s Kennel (Modena)
“Asilo del Cane” in Palazzolo Milanese (Milan)
Not only information, but also participation to help concretely the man’s best friend.
