REGULATIONS OF THE EQUIPPED AREA - Bagno 81 in Rimini The establishment of an area equipped for welcoming domestic animals (dogs) by Bagno 81 no problem in
Rimini is authorised by the appropriate Uffici Comunali (council authorities) under art. 4, para 1 letter J of
the Ordinanza Balneare della Regione Emilia Romagna n. 1/2011.
The area of the beach designated for domestic animals is a suitably equipped area, enclosed and
private, that protects the comfort and peace of mind of beach users. An appropriate signage
informs clients in the surrounding area of its designated use. A protective zone or fence surrounds
this area, which has an independent access and a dedicated waste bin. The hours of use of the facility
coincides with the opening times of the beach complex.
The equipped area has a fast and efficient system for distributing shovels for collecting animal
waste and in any case a shovel is provided on entering the establishment. The removal and
disposal of animal waste must be fast and effective and disposed of in the appropriate allocated waste bins.
Access to the equipped area is restricted to healthy animals with veterinary certification (record of
vaccination or equivalent documentation), dated not less than 20 days and not more than twelve
months from date of entry, as proof of vaccination for “distemper”, “canine infective hepatitis”
and “leptospirosis” and treatment received no less than 2 days and not more than 20 days for
“echinococcus”. Access is refused for dogs not able to get on with other animals in restricted spaces and to
female dogs on heat. Dogs from foreign countries also need to prove that they meet the required regulations
with the appropriate documentation as required by Reg. CE n. 998/2003.
The owner or keeper of the dog is required to sign the document enclosed with these regulations
prior to using the authorised areas. This document will be kept by the manager of the
establishment. The owner or keeper of the dog must insure that any person to whom the dog is
entrusted is capable of controlling it properly and that the dog behaves in an appropriately harmonious
manner with people and animals and in particular in a manner that preserves the safety and comfort of other
clients of the beach.
Access to the designated area is permitted to dogs on leashes not longer than 1.50 m. The owner or
person in charge is at all times responsible for the welfare, control and behaviour of the animal
and is legally, criminally and civilly liable for any damage or injury to person, animal or property
caused by the animal in question. Anyone inside the beach establishment that accepts the charge of a dog not
his own property will be held liable during that period. The animals will have to be in possession of a
muzzle (not worn but to be used when necessary and when requested by the relevant Authority).
Dogs must be kept below the allocated areas in the shade. Leashes can be secured to fixed points
in the shady area, as long as the guardian is at all times able to exercise adequate control.
Large size dogs are allowed access only if the owner/keeper is in possession of a statement signed
by a veterinary doctor (where it is stated that the animal is of a docile temperament and the
owner/keeper can guarantee proper guardianship) or is in possession of a temporary licence

according to art.1 para. 4 of the Ordinanza del Min. Salute e Politiche Sociali (regulation by the
health and social policy minister)of the 3rd of March
Animals are not allowed access to the sea and the showers of the establishment with the exception of
the fountains allocated for their use.
The manager of the beach will withdraw access to owners of animals who, because of their
temperament or character or dangerousness, may cause disturbance to the peace and quite of the
beach or to public safety.
The manager of the beach reserves the right to change the location allocated in the shady area if it is
deemed necessary for the peace and quite of users of the beach.
In case of incompatibility of dogs with other guests, or improper behaviour on the part of their
owners, the management reserves the right to ask them to leave the beach immediately.
A third party insurance policy is welcome.

4. To be aware of the provisions contained in the Beach regulations by the Emilia Romagna Region
n.1/2011 and of the local bylaws relating to the access of animals to the beaches of establishments or
authorised areas. Particularly is expressly forbidden under Article. 4 letter. J this Ordinance,
continuing to take or make any kind of animal on the beach and in water, although equipped with a
muzzle and / or leash. Pets may be accepted only in a special area equipped prepared by dealers and
may in special bowls or drinking fountains specially dedicated and sign posted from the resort
And finally, authorises the manager of the establishment to provide the present statement to the legally
appointed bodies on demand and be willing to provide them with all relevant documentation on
vaccinations as in (1.) above.
