Winner of the public competition for admission to undergraduate studies at
the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa.
1989-1993
Undergraduate study in Humanities in Pisa University; undergraduate
program in Art history at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa. M.A. (diploma
di laurea) in 1993: dissertation on the topic “Researches on the history of
cult-images in Italy”, advisor Enrico Castelnuovo. Final licence for the
undergraduate program of the Scuola Normale Superiore in 1993.

Post-graduate study at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa. Ph.D. in 1999,
