all up-and-over doors in the Steel range bear the CE mark. Each product is
accompanied by a CE Declaration of Conformity, issued by Ballan and validated
by a Notified Body, which certifies respect of all mechanical requirements, of
additional compulsory performance specifications, and in the case of poweroperated doors, of the requirements for automated operation as specified by
the EN 13241-1 Product Standard. Complete and unparalleled safety that
frees users from the binding choice of a manual or power-operated door. Many
people are unaware of the fact that retrofitting a manually operated door with
an automation system requires a certification procedure, which constitutes a
significant problem for the majority of doors on the market. To get around this
problem Ballan offers doors that are “ready for operator fitting”.Marked with the
letters HF, these models use design solutions that ensure full compliance with
European directives regarding power-operated doors, enabling the automation
installer to issue the relative CE declaration of conformity.

La completa protezione dagli infortuni è garantita da Ballan. Infatti tutta la produzione
di porte basculanti Steel è contrassegnata dalla Marcatura CE. Ogni prodotto è
corredato dalla Dichiarazione di Conformità CE, rilasciata dall’azienda e convalidata
dall’Ente Notificato, che certifica il rispetto di tutti i requisiti meccanici, delle prestazioni
aggiuntive obbligatorie e, per le porte motorizzate, delle disposizioni per il funzionamento
automatizzato stabilite dalla Norma di Prodotto EN 13241-1.
Una sicurezza completa che non teme confronti e che libera l’utente dal vincolo della scelta:
manuale o motorizzata. Come non tutti sanno, l’applicazione successiva dell’automazione
(per le porte manuali) dev’essere certificata: un problema non da poco per la maggior
parte delle porte in commercio.
Per risolverlo Ballan propone le porte “predisposte alla motorizzazione”.
Contrassegnati dalla sigla HF, questi modelli adottano soluzioni costruttive che
li rendono conformi alle Direttive Europee (relative al funzionamento automatizzato),
consentendo all’installatore della automazione di rilasciare la Dichiarazione di Conformità CE.

La purezza dell’acciaio zincato. Chi cerca l’essenzialità estetica, con ZINK GT scopre
anche una sorprendente durabilità. Infatti, per la costruzione del modello entry level della
linea di porte basculanti Steel, Ballan utilizza una tecnologia di derivazione aeronautica, che
prevede l’unione delle lamiere tramite giunti temprati inseriti ad altissima velocità.
Questa tecnica, denominata “saldatura a freddo”, aumenta la resistenza alla corrosione,
perché evita l’asporto di zinco nel punto di unione.

The purity of galvanised steel. Those who value the aesthetic simplicity of ZINK
GT will also be pleased with its astonishing durability. To produce the entry
level model in the Steel range, Ballan adopted technology derived from the
aeronautics industry that involves joining steel sheet components by means of
hardened joints driven at very high speed.
This technique, know as cold welding, increases corrosion resistance because
none of the zinc coating is removed at the site of the joint.

La pureté de l’acier galvanisé. À ceux qui cherchent des lignes esthétiques
essentielles, ZINK GT offre aussi une durée de vie exceptionnelle. En effet,
Ballan utilise pour la construction du modèle d’entrée de gamme de la ligne
de portes basculantes Steel une technologie dérivant du secteur aéronautique
qui consiste à assembler les tôles au moyen de « joints trempés » réalisés à
très grande vitesse.

passo 110 (80+30 mm). Una soluzione estetica raffinata e dall’elevato valore tecnico, perché

anche l’effetto di irrobustire la porta. Più elegante sì, ma anche resistente.

Costruita in lamiera d’acciaio, stampata e zincata, prevede l’anta mobile in tubolare elettrosaldato di sezione 60 mm, rinforzata da due profili a omega. È completa di battute e controbattute laterali, foderine laterali asportabili (per ispezionare funi e contrappesi) in acciaio
zincato e/o in acciaio preverniciato simil Ral 9016.
La struttura Spazio è dotata di dispositivo paracadute contro la chiusura accidentale dell’anta mobile, targhetta identificativa del costruttore e dichiarazione CE per
l’uso manuale.

counterweights) made of galvanized and/or prepainted steel sheet with mock
Ral 9016 finish.
The Spazio structure features an anti-fall device against accidental closure of

Disponibile a funzionamento manuale o elettrico, Sikura HF è la struttura in lamiera
d’acciaio ad alto spessore e dimensioni massime fino a 6500 mm di larghezza e
3000 di altezza. Con montanti laterali da 120 mm in lamiera di spessore 15/10 di mm e
traversa superiore da 100 mm sempre in lamiera di spessore 15/10 di mm.
Grazie alla predisposizione alla motorizzazione HF, Sikura HF può essere motorizzata
successivamente, rispettando la Norma di Prodotto EN 13241-1. Questo perché la
predisposizione alla motorizzazione HF comprende gli “spazi di sicurezza” di 25 mm fra i
leveraggi, guarnizioni perimetrali fra anta mobile e telaio fisso (montanti laterali più traversa
superiore), bracci di leva rinforzati e autocentranti per garantire una corretta chiusura dell’anta
mobile. Le caratteristiche tecniche sono le medesime del modello Sikura.

SIKURA HF STRUCTURE.
Available for manual or powered operation, Sikura is the structure in heavygauge steel sheet with maximum dimensions of up to 6500 mm in width and
3000 in height. With 120 mm side jambs in 15/10 mm gauge steel sheet and
100 mm transom, also in 15/10 mm steel sheet.
Thanks to the provision for fitting HF operators, Sikura HF can be retrofitted
with an operator in compliance with the EN 13241-1 Product Standard. This
is because the retrofit provision for HF operators includes 25 mm safety
clearances between lever mechanisms, perimeter seals between mobile leaf
and fixed framework (side jambs and transom), and reinforced and self-centring
lever arms to ensure correct closing of the mobile leaf.
The technical characteristics are the same as those of the Sikura model.
Sikura HF is equipped with an anti-fall device against accidental closure of the
mobile leaf, manufacturer’s identification nameplate and CE Declaration for
manual operation.

Disponible en fonctionnement manuel ou électrique, Sikura est la structure en
tôle d’acier de forte épaisseur, aux dimensions maximales jusqu’à 6500 mm de
largeur et 3000 de hauteur. Avec des montants latéraux de 120 mm en tôle de
15/10 mm d’épaisseur et traverse supérieure de 100 mm, également en tôle de
15/10 mm d’épaisseur. Grâce au prééquipement pour la motorisation HF, Sikura
HF peut être motorisée dans un deuxième temps, en totale conformité avec la
norme de produit EN 13241-1. En effet, le prééquipement pour la motorisation
HF comprend les « espaces de sécurité » de 25 mm entre les mécanismes, les
joints sur le périmètre entre le tablier et le cadre fixe (montants latéraux plus

Con la scelta del KIT, la porta viene fornita completa di automazione preferita installata, non
necessita di collaudo in cantiere perchè l’impianto elettrico è già inserito e precablato. A tutti
gli effetti può essere paragonata a un “elettrodomestico” che non ha bisogno di un elettricista
per la messa in funzione. E’ sufficiente collegare la porta all’impianto elettrico del garage ed è
subito pronta all’uso, con un risparmio di tempo ed economico più che evidente.
- Con il KIT ORO la porta viene fornita completa con l’automazione scelta e full optional.
- Con il KIT ARGENTO la porta viene fornita completa di automazione come per il KIT ORO,
ma senza il lampeggiante a led con l’antenna integrata.
- Il KIT BASE è per chi cerca una automazione conveniente, sempre già installata nella
porta.
Operators designed and developed by Ballan: always the perfect choice

The first three operators are designed for installation in the following structures:

Thanks to the kit, the door is ready to use immediately.
When the client chooses a KIT, the door is supplied complete with the chosen
operator installed and does not require testing on the construction site because
the electrical system is prefitted and prewired. The supplied product is comparable
to a home appliance because there’s no need to call an electrician to start using it.
The door operator is simply connected to the garage electrical supply resulting in
significant savings in time and expense.
- With the GOLD KIT the door is supplied complete with the chosen operator and
a full set of optionals.
- With the SILVER KIT the door is supplied complete with the chosen operator,
as for the GOLD KIT, but in this case without the LED flashing light with integral
antenna.
- The BASIC KIT is designed to meet the most economic operator, again
preinstalled on the door.

da die Elektrik schon eingesetzt und verkabelt wurde. Es kann effektiv als ein
„Haushaltsgerät“ betrachtet werden, das keinen Elektriker für die Inbetriebnahme
benötigt. Es ist ausreichend, das Tor an den Strom der Garage anzuschließen,
wonach es sofort einsatzbereit ist, wodurch Zeit und Installierungskosten gespart
werden.
- Mit dem GOLDBAUSATZ wird das Tor einschließlich der gewünschten
Automatisierung und full optional geliefert.
- Mit dem SILBERBAUSATZ wird das Tor einschließlich Automatisierung wie bei
dem GOLDBAUSATZ, aber ohne die Blinkleuchte mit Led und integrierte Antenne
geliefert.

The pedestrian door incorporated in the mobile leaf is made entirely of galvanized
and pressed steel sheet. The door construction features a tubular perimeter profile
(designed and made by Ballan), a horizontal brace, and the corrugated external
steel sheet. The pedestrian door equipped with aluminium hinges and complete
with handle and lock can be located to the side of the main leaf or centrally,
depending on the dimensions of the up-and-over door. The pedestrian door is

Champion, the multi-purpose door, constructed entirely in galvanised sheet
steel, is resistant, durable and lightweight. The specially profiled frame can be
fixed by means of expansion plugs or wall-mounted bolts. The opening leaf,
reinforced, has deep stiffeners and sturdy horizontal struts to ensure optimal
strength.

The galvanised Champion multi-purpose door, comes complete with a Yale lock
with double lever handle fitted with double keyhole cover in ABS.
On request it can be finished with a base or paint finish in RAL colours.

La porte polyvalente Champion galvanisée, est munie de serrure type Yale avec
double poignée à levier équipée d’une double plaque cache-trou en ABS.
Sur demande, elle peut être finie avec une couche de fond ou peinte dans les
couleurs Ral.
Elle prévoit plusieurs possibilités d’installation. Le prééquipement de l’ouverture
« à tirer » droite peut être changé librement par la simple rotation du vantail.
Das verzinkte Mehrzwecktor Champion ist mit einem Schloss Typ Yale mit
doppeltem Hebelgriff und einer zweifachen Lochabdeckplatte aus ABS
ausgestattet.
Auf Anfrage kann es mit Untergrund oder Lackierung in Ral-Farben verschönert
werden.
Es ermöglicht verschiedene Installationsmöglichkeiten. Die Vorrüstung der
rechten Öffnung „zum Ziehen“ kann nach Wahl durch einfache Drehung des
Flügels geändert werden.
