BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF MARCO TATULLO
Marco Tatullo is the Scientific Director of the Research Institute
Tecnologica, a private centre mainly focused on regenerative
medicine, stem cell research and biomaterials.
Dr. Tatullo received the doctoral degree in Doctor in Dental
Sciences (DDS) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bari,
Italy.
In 2013 he received the PhD in “Medical Biochemistry, Medical
Biology and Physics” , Faculty of Medicine, University of Bari. In
2015 he obtains the National Scientific Abilitation as Associate
Professor in the field of “Dentistry” (SSD-MED/28). Expert of the Field in
“Biochemistry and Medical Biochemistry” (Scientific Sector Bio/12), obtained from
the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bari, Italy.
He is Invited Professor in the post-degree course entitled "Implantology and oral
surgery: the correct management of oral hygiene" at the University of Bari, Medical
Faculty, and Invited Professor in the post-degree Master entitled "Advanced oral
surgery and Implantology" at the University of Bari, Medical Faculty. Visiting
Professor at the University “Marie Curie” de Parìs in a post-graduate teaching
session. Invited international collaborator of “Institut de Biologie Paris-Seine” (IBPS)
- Jussieu Campus -University Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC-Sorbonne) in association
with INSERM (Institut national de la santé et de la recherche médicale)

articles published in international high-quality journals, indexed on PubMED.
Research interests include MSCs from oral sources for medical applications and
tissue engineering, development and characterization of biomaterials for
regenerative medicine applications, test and development of medical devices, GMP
cell therapy, tissues banking.
