Gli adattatori Powerline ZyXEL sono apparati che trasformano la rete elettrica in un cablaggio dati,
o uno switch. Il PLA 5205 è l’adattore Powerline top di gamma, che integra una porta Gigabit Ethernet
e sfrutta il nuovo standard Homeplug AV2 per trasmette dati tramite la rete elettrica
alla velocità di 600Mbps, una velocità superiore a quella di una normale rete dati.

Attraverso la tecnologia Powerline, l'adattore ZyXEL PLA 5205 permette la creazione di un Network stabile e ad
elevate prestazioni, superiori a quelle di una normale rete dati cablata, per avere accesso a streaming multipli anche
in alta definizione, gaming multiplayer, e navigazione internet simultaneamente. PLA 5205 è conforme allo standard
HomePlug AV2 che garantisce trasmissione dati fino a 600Mbps ed è dotato di una porta LAN Gigabit.
Tecnologia SmartLink™ Plus
La tecnologia SmartLink™ Plus di cui è dotato il PLA 5205 permette di trasmettere il segnale Powerline su tutti e
tre i fili del cablaggio elettrico, aumentando la distanza massima di trasmissione del 50% e superando la gran parte
dei problemi legati alle interferenze elettriche, alle multiprese filtrate ed in generale ai molti disturbi che
danneggiano il segnale.
Streaming multimediale ottimizzato
Le funzioni avanzate di QoS (Quality of Service) migliorano la qualità e la velocità dello streaming audio/video
multimediale, grazie ad un meccanismo automatizzato di assegnazione delle priorità del traffico, a seconda che sia
normale traffico dati, streaming video, navigazione internet o traffico VoIP.

Impostazioni di sicurezza intuitive
La trasmissione dati tramite la rete elettrica è protetta dal logaritmo di criptaggio a 128-bit, Advanced Encryption
Security (AES), per offrire una elevata sicurezza all'intera rete. La trasmissione criptata può essere configurata
attraverso un semplice pulsante presente su tutti gli adattatori PLA 5205, senza la necessità di installare software o
effettuare configurazioni aggiuntive.

Quando non è presente un collegamento Ethernet attivo da più di 60 secondi, l'adattatore ZyXEL PLA 5205 entra in
modalità di risparmio energetico, riducendo il consumo elettrico a 0.5 watt, e permettendo di diminuire lo spreco di
energia.
