Going through the past 25 years, in Italy and abroad, Steel Pool Cantieri designs and builds
metallic shells for civil, commercial and industrial buildings, as well the principal and
secondary structures to sustain them.
Steel Pool Cantieri garners the essence that the designer wants to communicate, shaping it
in technical and constructive solutions based on the principal concepts of the modern
construction industry: extensive use of structural metallic or wood elements (usually
interconnected), widespread use of dry construction systems, full utilization of innovative
products and materials for the cladding.
The pursuit of lightness has been a constant during the whole Steel Pool Cantieri career,
basically because lightness is the key concept to optimize energy and matter, essential and
unnecessary. The search of lightness forces to constantly explore the market to find innovative
materials to be harmonized together, giving the possibility to create objects and shapes
always more fascinating: exquisite shapes, thin structural grills that hold lightweight shells in
the same way.
The dry construction systems complete the lightness and the fascinating aspects giving to the
buildings the eco sustainability status and obtaining optimal performances from the energy
point of view, through the realization of different functional layers using only elements
mechanically assembled on site without any wet fastener (plaster, mortar, cement, etc..).
The use of the metals in the facade cladding draws a parallel with the high fashion style:
façade panels are perforated, assembled, stitched with the same brilliance and care reserved
to an haute couture dress.
The research of scenic and chromatic effects has become a fundamental and distinguishing
element too: most of the time even the imperfections became peculiarities, in that way it’s
appreciated more and more the shimmering chromaticism of the natural colors following the
oxidation effects, the same that happens with a threadbare jeans when it becomes aged and it
frays.

We take the opportunity to introduce our company, in case in any of your project there are
some metallic works or parts, structural, roofing and cladding for architectural facades,
realizations with various types of materials such as copper "TECU ®", zinc titanium "Rheinzink
®" and “Vm Zinc”, aluminium Prefa ® and Kalzip ®, as well as stainless steel, corrugated sheets,
perforated metal sheets, undulated metal sheets, sandwich panels and more.
Our company has gained specific experience in the crimping systems for roofs and walls, in
the integrated photovoltaic systems, in the dry system construction: INNOVATION, ENERGY
SAVING and ENVIRONMENT have always been inspiring principles for us.
