Introduzione
La Camera di commercio di Cuneo presenta, nell’anno di Expo 2015, le strutture turistiche contrassegnate
dal marchio di qualità “Ospitalità Italiana”.
Il progetto nazionale ha riscontrato sin dal 1999 l’interesse e l’attenzione degli operatori cuneesi del settore, pronti
a cogliere le opportunità loro offerte dal sistema camerale per incrementare e valorizzare la qualità dei propri servizi.
Per l’anno in corso sono state 24 le nuove strutture che per la prima volta hanno ottenuto il prestigioso riconoscimento, a fronte di 5 cancellazioni, a testimonianza di una qualità che va non soltanto acquisita ma che deve essere mantenuta
nel tempo. Le 437 strutture turistiche complessivamente in possesso del marchio 2015 testimoniano gli investimenti effettuati
negli anni dalla Camera di commercio in questo progetto, coerente con le politiche comunitarie, nella consapevolezza di quanto
il turismo sia sempre più settore chiave dell’economia, il cui indotto si riverbera direttamente nei diversi ambiti dell’economia.
L’irripetibile occasione offerta alla nostra provincia dalla prossimità dei luoghi dell’Esposizione universale di Milano e la
stessa rilevanza del patrimonio enogastronomico cuneese, nella sue mille tradizioni e produzioni tipiche, rappresentano
un’opportunità imperdibile per mostrare al mondo la ricchezza culturale, produttiva e la grande varietà paesaggistica del
nostro territorio. Patrimoni questi riconosciuti e tutelati dall’Unesco, che abbinati alla sapiente lavorazione dei prodotti del
territorio possono far rivivere, agli ospiti delle nostre strutture turistiche, tradizioni, sapori e colori preservati nel tempo.
Insieme al sistema camerale, la Camera di commercio ha messo a punto strumenti innovativi idonei a valorizzare adeguatamente il lavoro e l’impegno delle imprese presso i milioni di visitatori che si recheranno a Milano.
Avvalendosi delle enormi potenzialità offerte dal web, in collaborazione con Unioncamere nazionale, Symbola e il Ministero dell’agricoltura con il portale Italian Quality Experience, viene presentata una vetrina delle tante eccellenze agroalimentari del nostro Paese, elemento imprescindibile per attrarre turisti sul nostro territorio. Il parallelo accordo del sistema camerale piemontese con Explora consente la presentazione turistica del territorio regionale e delle sue strutture sul
portale internet (wonderfulexpo2015.info), con la realizzazione di un opuscolo, tradotto in una decina di lingue straniere,
anch’esso consultabile sul sito ufficiale della manifestazione internazionale.
Con le strutture che si fregiano del “Marchio Ospitalità Italiana”, la provincia di Cuneo avalla e prosegue il percorso della
qualità, testimone di una ricerca costante e di una serietà operativa che si pongono al servizio del turista e del cliente,
per anticipare le attese della clientela, sempre più portata a muoversi con intelligente consapevolezza, a scegliere e a
perseguire mete precise.

The Cuneo Chamber of Commerce takes pride in presenting the Italian tourist facilities bearing the quality
brand “Ospitalità Italiana” (Italian Hospitality) in the year of Expo 2015.
This national project has since 1999 won the interest and attention of enterprises active in the tourism sector
of the Cuneo province, on the ground of the attractive opportunities offered by the Italian Chamber of Commerce system to increase and promote the quality of service offered by their members.
For the current year, 24 new facilities were for the first time awarded this prestigious recognition, against five cancellations, meaning that, in addition to being achieved, quality also needs to be maintained in time.
A total of 437 tourist facilities now bear the 2015 brand as evidence of the significant investment effort made over
the years by the Cuneo Chamber of Commerce in this project, consistently with the EU policies, given the key role and
multiple beneficial effects of tourism and other allied industries in the Italian economy.
The unique opportunity offered to our province for its proximity to the location of the Milan Expo and the value behind
the Cuneo food and wine tradition – with countless local specialties and typical products – are all assets to be leveraged
in order to show the cultural richness, productivity and great variety of landscapes in our territory to world visitors. This
local heritage is now recognised and protected by UNESCO and, together with refined techniques for the processing of
local products, will offer guests visiting our facilities a unique occasion to experience the distinctive tastes, smells colours
and sights of our time-honoured tradition.
In the context of the Italian Chamber of Commerce system, the Cuneo Chamber has introduced innovative tools for the
several millions visitors who will soon be arriving in Milan to be aware of the work and commitment of our local enterprises.
Developed on a web-based platform in association with the Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce Unioncamere,
Symbola and the Italian Ministry for Agriculture, the portal Italian Quality Experience will showcase Italy’s excellence in
agrifood, as a key element to attract tourists. A parallel agreement was signed by the Piedmont Chambers of Commerce
with Explora with a twofold aim, i.e. to present the regional territory and its facilities to tourists on another web-based
portal (wonderfulexpo2015.info), and to publish a brochure in about ten languages, which can also be viewed in its
digital version on the Expo official website.
With the Italian Hospitality Brand awarded to tourist facilities, the Cuneo province is now continuing its long-standing
commitment to quality, as a token of its constant and unswerving search for the best possible service to be offered
to tourists and customers. In this effort, the provincial government is also acting in anticipation of the requirements of
customers, given the growing awareness among them of quality as a key prerequisite in their choice of destinations.

Introduzione
In aumento i turisti in provincia di Cuneo a testimoniare l’impegno degli albergatori, ristoratori, titolari
di pubblici esercizi e di strutture, la professionalità, la disponibilità nel mettersi in gioco, l’attenzione per
l’aggiornamento costante, la considerazione dei nuovi orientamenti della clientela.
In tale ottica, la Camera di commercio ha promosso una recente iniziativa di aggiornamento professionale
rivolto a ristoratori e agriturismi. La qualificazione dell’offerta turistica è infatti alla base del progetto “Marchio
Ospitalità Italiana” a cui aderiscono, in provincia di Cuneo, oltre 400 strutture.
In qualità di presidente della Commissione di valutazione, che verifica l’esistenza delle condizioni per entrare a far parte
del prestigioso marchio, ho avuto modo di constatare con quanta passione e impegno ci si adoperi per ottenere il riconoscimento, promosso dalla Camera di commercio in collaborazione con Isnart, l’Istituto nazionale ricerche turistiche.
Il marchio non si conserva con una sola visita iniziale. Le verifiche annuali da parte di tecnici qualificati accertano il
mantenimento dei requisiti nel corso del tempo.
Tra le priorità nella concessione del marchio l’eleganza e il lusso non sono requisiti primari, così come le coraggiose
invenzioni enogastronomiche in cucina; sono invece elementi fondamentali di valutazione le caratteristiche dei locali e
degli spazi adiacenti (dal parcheggio a una segnaletica adeguata), la pulizia, l’attenzione all’arredo, l’esposizione del
menù nei ristoranti, il comfort delle camere per gli alberghi, l’attenzione per il territorio e la fornitura di tutti i servizi
necessari per rendere gradevole la sosta dell’ospite.
Una garanzia di base su cui il gestore può immaginare nuove opportunità per attrarre la clientela, con lo scopo di far crescere la fiducia, di infondere sicurezza, di indurre alla fidelizzazione, facendo sentire a casa propria l’ospite e di riuscire
in tal modo ad attirare una parte dei turisti in arrivo per l’Expo 2015.

“Marchio di qualità”
The flow of tourists to the Cuneo province is growing as a result of efforts made by hotel, restaurant and
bar owners and operators of miscellaneous tourist facilities, who clearly demonstrated their professionalism, preparedness to face new challenges, focus on constant updates, and awareness of new customer
preferences.
With that in mind, the Cuneo Chamber of Commerce has recently promoted a training initiative meant for restaurant
and holiday-farm owners and operators. The qualification of tourist offerings lies at the heart of the “Italian Hospitality
Brand” project, with more than 400 member facilities in the Cuneo province.
As chairman of the Board of Examiners entrusted with the task of checking that members meet the requirements to
be awarded the brand, I had the opportunity to acknowledge the passion and commitment of candidates to obtain
this recognition promoted by our Chamber of Commerce in association with ISNART, the Italian National Institution
for Research in Tourism.
An initial visit does not suffice for a member to retain the awarded brand. Annual follow-up visits by quality technicians are meant to assess that requirements still apply in time.
Among the priorities for the award of the brand, elegance and luxury or innovative food and wine proposals are no
primary requirements; key elements assessed rather include the characteristics of premises and adjacent spaces
(primarily parking lots and a suitable signage), cleanliness, accurate furnishings, a menu put on display at restaurants, the comfort of hotel rooms, a focus on the local territory and the supply of all services and amenities needed for
the overall guest’s experience to be pleasant.
This recognition is a baseline from which operators and owners can build new initiatives to attract their customers,
with the ultimate aim to inspire confidence, and a sense of safety, and encourage customer loyalty, for guests to feel
at home and for tourist arriving in Milan for the Expo 2015 event to be also encouraged to visit our province.

5. The Agency acts as a Showcase for the Region, with information and a catalogue of offers for tourists through marketing agreements with hotels/ restaurants in the area.
6. The Agency enhances the region’s image with respect to the environment, accessibility and social responsibility.
7. The Agency accepts the primary forms of payment and offers a customer satisfaction service.
8. The Agency makes insurance information available to its clients, in a clear and transparent manner, using the proper
contract forms.
