GIOVE Virtual Factory GIOVE Virtual Factory (GIOVE-VF) is a virtual reality
collaborative environment aimed at supporting the factory design by
selecting machines, operators and other resources and place them in the 3D
scene of the virtual factory.
VF-GUI is an interface, generated dynamically from the data model, to
create and visualize Factory projects and libraries. It is adopted to
explore, modify information contained in local or remote repositories the
user may have access to.
ARENA Simulation Module integrates the commercial simulation
software tool ARENA and a set of libraries for the automatic model
generation within the VFF.
CHRONOS is an optimization tool that can be adopted to solve
optimization problems related to manufacturing production systems
such as: buffer allocation, pallet sizing, kanban number optimization.
