STORIA-HISTORY
L’unità d’Italia risale al 1861, con la spedizione dei
mille, quando Garibaldi è sbarcato in Sicilia con un
esercito di circa mille uomini e ha risalito l’intera
penisola. Però solo il 2 giugno 1946 l’Italia è
diventata ufficialmente una repubblica, con le
elezioni, a cui tutti gli italiani sono stati chiamati a
votare, e per la prima volta hanno votato anche le
donne.
The official date of the unification of Italy is 1861,
when Garibaldi lead an army of about one
thousand men from Sicily to the north.
However Italy became officially a republic only on 2
June 1946 , after the second world war, when all the
Italians (women for the first time),voted.
