(Italian Excellence Center on Integrated Logistics)
CIELI, originates in Genoa in autumn 2003, following a national valuation process
of the MIUR (Italian Ministry for University), which has chosen it among many
alternative projects, putting together different competences.
The original team comprises researchers of the University of Genoa and includes
more than ten departments belonging to the Faculties of Economics, Engineer
and Law. Thus, it guarantees a remarkable resource and interdisciplinary
approach on research, consultancy and training activities.
CIELI intends to create a network comprising:

universities and research centers;
•
industry and economic and social organizations;
•
public organizations and institutions.
Currently CIELI has signed co-operative agreements with:
•
KMI – Korea Maritime Institute
•
EPFL – Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne
Master in Planning and
Management of
Integrated Logistic
Systems
The Master provides students with high level competences in planning and
administration on logistic systems management and transportation both at
strategic and operative level, throughout a focalized training on theoretical models
as well as on professional applications.
Masters attendants will develop, through an interdisciplinary approach, a deep
technical, economical, juridical and managerial knowledge in the logistics and
transportation systems.
The Masters is mainly focused to high level skills training in the following areas:
• planning and logistics corporate system management, both at strategic and
operative level (needed skills to experts with managerial role in supply chain
control and management),
• elaboration, actuation and implementation of territorial systems integrate
management policy, with special regard to transport and infrastructure (needed
skills to experts engaged in Public Administration, Agencies and Authorities).
