What is a conjugation?
 A conjugation is used when we take a Verb (Action word) in its
Infinitive form and change it to say who did the action.
 Infinitive verbs are verbs that are not changed/do not have a “who”
completing the action
 In English, an infinitive is to read or to jump. Add “to” to any action
word
 In Italian, an infinitive has an –ARE, –ERE, or –IRE at the end of it.
An example would be “Guardare” (to watch)
 We will be exploring Regular –ARE verbs today
 Some Italian verbs are irregular and are not conjugated in the pattern
we will learn today
 Verbs can also be irregular in English. An example is “to be” which is
conjugated into I am, you are, he/she is, etc.
