Why Innovation & Entrepreneurship?
 CERN is working at the forefront of science and



technology
Many ideas developed for HEP research can have
applications in many other domains
Maximize impact and visibility of the “side effects”
of research
By design CERN is a dynamic place where young
talents come and go, how do we support them
beyond their experience at CERN and capitalize on
them?
