SIMBOLI
Classe I: La spina dell’apparecchio è provvista del polo per la messa a terra; collegarla
solamente in prese con la messa a terra a norma di sicurezza elettrica.
Il triangolo che riporta il punto esclamativo indica all’utilizzatore che ci sono da leggere
importanti operazioni e istruzioni di cura nella documentazione che accompagna il prodotto.
Il bidone barrato indica che il prodotto risponde ai requisiti richiesti dalle nuove direttive
introdotte a tutela dell’ambiente (2002/96/EC, 2003/108/EC, 2002/95/EC) e che deve essere
smaltito in modo appropriato al termine del suo ciclo di vita. Chiedere informazioni alle
autorità locali in merito alle zone dedicate allo smaltimento dei rifiuti. Chi non smaltisce il
prodotto seguendo quanto indicato in questo paragrafo ne risponde secondo le norme vigenti.

Leggere attentamente le avvertenze contenute nel presente libretto. Conservare con cura questo
manuale per ogni ulteriore consultazione.
Dopo aver tolto l'imballaggio assicurarsi dell'integrità dell'apparecchio. In caso di dubbio non
utilizzare l'apparecchio e rivolgersi a personale professionalmente qualificato. Gli elementi
dell'imballaggio (sacchetti in plastica, polistirolo espanso ecc.) non devono essere lasciati alla
portata dei bambini in quanto potenziali fonti di pericolo.
Si raccomanda di non gettare nei rifiuti domestici i materiali costituenti l’imballaggio, ma
consegnarli negli appositi centri di raccolta o smaltimento dei rifiuti, chiedendo eventualmente
informazioni al gestore della nettezza urbana del proprio comune di residenza.
Prima di collegare la spina elettrica del prodotto accertarsi che i dati di targa siano rispondenti a
quelli della rete di distribuzione elettrica.
In caso di incompatibilità tra la presa e la spina del prodotto fare sostituire la presa con altra di
tipo adatto da personale professionalmente qualificato. In generale è sconsigliabile l’uso di
adattatori, prese multiple e/o prolunghe. Qualora il loro uso si renda indispensabile è necessario
utilizzare solamente adattatori semplici o multipli e prolunghe conformi alle vigenti norme di
sicurezza.
Questo prodotto dovrà essere destinato soltanto all'uso espressamente indicato in questo libretto
di istruzioni. Ogni altro uso è da considerarsi improprio e quindi pericoloso. Il costruttore non può
essere considerato responsabile per eventuali danni derivati da usi impropri, erronei ed
irragionevoli.
Questo apparecchio non deve essere utilizzato da persone (compresi i bambini) con ridotte
capacità fisiche, mentali o sensoriali o con esperienza e/o competenze insufficienti, a meno che
non siano supervisionate da una persona responsabile per la loro sicurezza o non vengano da
essa istruite sul corretto utilizzo dell’apparecchio.
Tenere lontano l’apparecchio dalla portata dei bambini.

l’apparecchio in prossimità di fonti di calore, fiamme libere o gas.
Non utilizzare l'apparecchio con mani bagnate o umide. Non utilizzarlo a piedi nudi.
NON IMMERGERE IN ACQUA O ALTRI LIQUIDI.
Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare l’integrità del cavo elettrico, e se risulta danneggiato non utilizzare
l’apparecchio; durante il funzionamento proteggere il cavo da bordi taglienti, oli, umidità e fonti di
calore.
Non utilizzare l’apparecchio col cavo avvolto o aggrovigliato, ma stenderlo e liberarlo dai nodi.
Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione o il prodotto per scollegare la spina dalla presa di corrente.
In caso di guasto e/o di cortocircuito, spegnere e non utilizzare l’apparecchio. Per la riparazione
chiamare il numero di assistenza tecnica telefonica; non tentare di riparare l’apparecchio.
Scollegare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente:
- prima di rifornire il serbatoio.
- prima di effettuare la pulizia dell’apparecchio.
- quando si lascia l’apparecchio incustodito anche solo per brevissimo tempo.
- quando i bambini non possono essere sorvegliati.
- dopo ogni utilizzo dell’apparecchio.

PERICOLO DI USTIONE! La piastra del ferro si scalda in breve tempo e richiede molto tempo
per raffreddarsi; durante questo periodo di tempo non toccarla con le mani.
Lasciare sempre raffreddare la piastra dopo ogni utilizzo e prima di riporre il ferro da stiro.
Far fuoriuscire il vapore residuo dalla piastra utilizzando il comando apposito, dopo ogni utilizzo e
prima di scollegare la spina, per permettere al ferro di raffreddarsi più rapidamente.
Non usare il ferro vicino a tendaggi o materiali facilmente infiammabili.
ATTENZIONE! Durante l’utilizzo del ferro da stiro, non rivolgere la piastra verso il viso, fare
attenzione durante la fuoriuscita del vapore.
Usare solo acqua distillata, non introdurre altri liquidi nel serbatoio.
Non riempire il serbatoio oltre il livello MAX.
Riporre il ferro in verticale durante le pause e dopo l’utilizzo. Non lasciare la piastra a contatto col
vestiario. Non lasciare il ferro incustodito.
Porre sempre attenzione al cavo che non venga a contatto con la piastra calda.
Al primo utilizzo del ferro da stiro rimuovere la pellicola di protezione sulla piastra, qualora sia
presente.
Non stirare indumenti molto umidi, lasciarli asciugare prima di applicare il ferro da stiro.
Non stirare sopra cerniere o bottoni per non rovinare la piastra.
Prima di scollegare la spina portare sempre il termostato in posizione ‘0’.
Non utilizzare l’apparecchio come unità di riscaldamento.
Non introdurre nel serbatoio dell’acqua miscele smacchianti, aceto o agenti disincrostanti.
Svuotare sempre il serbatoio quando si è terminato di stirare o si intende riporre l’apparecchio.
Non lasciare il ferro incustodito durante l’uso e quando è collegato alla corrente elettrica.

FUNZIONAMENTO
Riempimento del serbatoio
ATTENZIONE ! quando termina l’acqua nel serbatoio, spostare il termostato in posizione 0 e
scollegare la spina prima di effettuare il riempimento. Inserire solo acqua distillata nel
serbatoio senza superare il livello massimo.
Regolare la temperatura
Regolare la temperatura della piastra seguendo i riferimenti in tabella:

NOTA: se non si conosce la composizione del tessuto, regolare al minimo la temperatura della
piastra, aumentandola gradualmente. Se il capo è costituito da più tessuti è opportuno regolare la
temperatura della piastra al minimo.
Stirare a vapore
Posizionare il ferro in orizzontale e riempire il serbatoio, facendo attenzione a non superare il livello
MAX.
Collegare la spina alla presa di corrente e posizionare il ferro in verticale.
Regolare la temperatura della piastra agendo sul regolatore (9). A temperatura raggiunta la spia di
funzionamento (6) si spegne.

Regolare il vapore agendo sul comando di regolazione (3) come indicato di seguito:

NOTA: per la stiratura a vapore continuo è necessario regolare la temperatura tra il valore ●●● e
MAX.
Premere il tasto (5) se si desidera utilizzare il getto di vapore.
Quando il vapore termina controllare il livello dell’acqua nel serbatoio ed eventualmente riempirlo.
NOTA: se dal ferro non esce vapore, è necessario riempirlo nuovamente d’acqua. Scollegare il ferro
da stiro dalla prese di corrente e riempire il serbatoio, facendo molta attenzione a non far
sgocciolare l’acqua sull’apparecchio.
Stirare a secco
Assicurarsi che il regolatore vapore (3) sia posizionato su 0.
Collegare la spina alla presa di corrente.
Regolare la temperatura della piastra agendo sul regolatore di temperatura (9) tra il valore ● e ●●.
Attendere che la piastra raggiunga la temperatura impostata.
A temperatura raggiunta la spia (6) si spegne: è ora possibile cominciare la stiratura a secco.
Auto-pulizia
Questa funzione serve per eliminare le impurità e i residui di calcare che inevitabilmente si formano
all’interno della piastra. Eseguire questa operazione sopra uno straccio.
Regolare al massimo la temperatura della piastra.
Regolare il vapore al massimo e premere il pulsante Self Clean (10).
Ripetere alcune volte per pulire efficacemente la camera del vapore.
Scollegare la spina dalla presa di corrente. Attendere che il ferro si raffreddi ed asciugare la piastra
con un panno morbido.
Svuotare il serbatoio dall’acqua prima di riporre il ferro.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
ATTENZIONE ! Attendere il completo raffreddamento dell’apparecchio prima di iniziare le
operazioni di pulizia. Staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di ogni operazione di
pulizia e/o manutenzione.
Per pulire la piastra utilizzare un panno di cotone morbido o una spugnetta non ruvida senza
l’ausilio di detergenti di alcun tipo. Per le altre parti invece utilizzare un panno morbido inumidito
con acqua. Mai pulire con dei diluenti, prodotti abrasivi in genere. Prima di riporre l’apparecchio,
svuotare il serbatoio dall’acqua residua.
ATTENZIONE ! in caso di contatto accidentale di liquidi con le parti elettriche interne, non
utilizzare il ferro da stiro e non cercare di ripararlo. Chiamare il numero di Assistenza
Tecnica autorizzato.

DANGER OF BURNS! The iron soleplate becomes hot quickly and takes a long time to cool
down, do not touch it with your hands.
Always wait for the iron to cool down completely after each use and before storing.
All residual steam must be released after each use by using the steam button in order to
allow the appliance to cool down quickly.
Do not use the appliance near curtains, furniture or other inflammable objects.
CAUTION! when using the iron, never direct the steam jet towards face. Use caution during
steam emission.
Use only distilled water for your steam iron.
Do not overfill the water tank; Max level must not be exceeded.
Always place the iron vertically after use and during a pause. Do not let the iron in contact
with clothes.
Make sure the power cord doesn’t come into contact with the hot iron soleplate.
When using the iron for the first time, remove the protective plastic film on the iron, which
may be present in some cases.
Do not iron wet clothes; wait until they are dry or nearly dry before ironing them.
Do not over metallic buttons, zippers, as these may scratch the soleplate.
Before unplugging the iron from wall socket, always turn thermostat at “0”.
Do not use this appliance as a heater.
Do not fill in the tank with cleaning mixtures, vinegar or descaling agents.
Always empty the tank from water when the ironing operations are finished And before
storing the iron.
Never leave the iron unattended during ironing and when the appliace is connected.

OPERATING THE IRON
Refilling water tank
WARNING ! Once water inside the water tank is finished, set the thermostat regulator at
“0” immediately and then unplug the iron before refilling. Fill the water tank only with
distilled water, do not exceed the Max. Level indicated.
Setting the temperature
Refer to the following chart to set the temperature according to the type of clothes to be ironed.

NOTE: When you don’t know the type of cloth to be ironed, set first the low temperature and then
increase it gradually. In case clothes are made up of different kind of materials, we recommend to
set the low temperature.
Steam ironing
Place the iron on a flat surface and fill the tank with distilled water. Do not overfill.
Plug the iron into the socket. Place the iron in vertical position while it’s heating.
Set the required temperature by using the dial (9). When the set temperature is reached and the
iron is ready for use, the indicator light (6) will switch off.

It is possible to obtain continuous steam emission by using the steam regulator (3), as shown as
following:

NOTE: when operating the steam ironing, set the temperature between level ●●● and MAX to emit
steam.
Press the steam button (5) to emit steam jet/burst of steam.
In case no more steam is emitted from the soleplate, check the water level and refill the water tank
if necessary.
NOTE: if the iron doesn’t emit steam, check the water level to refill the tank. Unplug the iron from
the electric socket and refill the water tank paying attention the appliance doesn’t come in contact
with water.
Dry ironing
Check the steam regulator (3) is set at “0”.
Plug the iron into the wall socket.
Set the temperature between level ● and ●● by using the temperature dial (9).
Wait until the iron soleplate has reached the temperature.
When the desired temperature has been reached, the indicator light (6) switches off and the iron is
ready for dry ironing.
Self-Clean
This option helps to eliminate impurity and limestone from the soleplate and water tank. We
recommend to perform this operation on a cloth.
Set the temperature of the iron at the maximum level.
Set the steam regulator at Max steam level and press the Self-Clean Button (10).
Repeat the operation several times.
Unplug the iron. Wait for a few minutes to let the plate cool down and then clean it with a soft cloth.
Always empty the water tank before storing the iron.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING ! Wait until the iron has cooled down completely and always unplug it from the
mains before cleaning.
Clean the soleplate only with a soft cloth, never use abrasives or solvent agents. The rest of the
iron can be cleaned with a soft damp cloth. Never use harsh cleaning solutions. Always empty the
water tank before storing the iron.
WARNING ! In case inner parts of the appliance comes into contact with water or other
liquids, do not use the iron and do not attempt to repair it by yourself. Please contact an
Authorized Customer Service.
