It has been founded in 2002 and became an association in 2007. Netval mission is to be the “university interface” for Ministries and local administrations, industrial associations and industries, venture capitalists and financial bodies to promote the role of university research in the innovation processes. Public research is at the beginning of the innovation line, industry is at the end, a part of the path should be shared in partnership. The tools should be used in agreement. The different own missions and roles should be seen as opportunities rather than disadvantages. The efficiency strongly depends on the participation of all of the four actors.
