Concorso Internazionale di Composizione dedicato al
territorio franciacortino dal titolo “TERRA DI FRANCIACORTA”
Art 1. Il tema del concorso è: TERRA DI FRANCIACORTA.
“Composizione di un’Opera in tre atti da eseguire su libretto
scelto o redatto dagli stessi candidati”.
Alcuni temi consigliati su cui sviluppare la composizione sono
i seguenti: Mons. Geremia Bonomelli (vescovo), il Bollicine
Franciacorta, vigneti e il metodo franciacorta, altri personaggi
del territorio, luoghi e cantine del territorio...
Art 2. La durata dell'opera non dovrà superare i novanta (90)
minuti.
Art. 3. Il concorso è aperto a compositori di ogni nazionalità,
senza limiti di età.
Art 4. Le partiture dovranno prevedere:
Interpreti: tre voci femminili e tre voci maschili. È previsto
anche l’impegno di un coro di voci miste (SCTB). Non è
obbligatorio l’impiego dell’organico nella sua totalità
Organico strumentale: non superiore a quarantatre (43) elementi di cui: 2 fl., 2 ob. (di cui un cr. Ing.), 2 cl. (di cui un cl. basso),
2 fg., 2 cr., 2 tr., 2 trb., 1 tuba, 1 perc., 1 timp., 1 arpa, Celesta e
archi (8 v.ni primi e 6 v.ni secondi, 5 viole, 4 violoncelli e 2
contrabbasso, da utilizzare anche con divisioni delle parti). Non
è obbligatorio l’impiego dell’organico nella sua totalità.
Art 5. Dovranno essere inviati in busta chiusa: cinque copie
della partitura e del libretto stampati e rilegati, una copia della
riduzione per canto e pianoforte, un CD contenente i file dell'Opera con software Finale 2010 (o versione successiva) e i PDF
della partitura e della riduzione per pianoforte entro il 31
Ottobre 2014 al seguente indirizzo:

Farà fede la data del timbro postale relativa all’invio. Tutte le
spese sono a carico del mittente. Ulteriori informazioni potranno essere richieste alla segreteria della Filarmonica utilizzando

Art 9. Il risultato sarà reso noto attraverso pubblicazione sul
sito della Orchestra Filarmonica della Franciacorta (www.orchestradellafranciacorta.it). Il vincitore sarà contattato tramite posta
elettronica o telefonicamente. Entro quindici giorni dalla comunicazione il vincitore dovrà inviare, tramite invio PDF le parti
strumentali dell'Opera.
Art 10. Al vincitore sarà assegnato una borsa di studio dal
valore di Euro mille (€ 1.000,00).
Art 11. Inoltre l’Opera selezionata sarà eseguita in forma
scenica in prima assoluta in un prestigioso teatro bresciano nel
mese di settembre 2015 all'interno degli avvenimenti e eventi
EXPO 2015. La Direzione artistica potrà dare circolazione a tale
opera e al suo allestimento qualora vengano individuate collaborazioni artistiche di livello idoneo. Potrà essere prevista la
stampa della partitura e la eventuale registrazione in CD e/o
DVD.
Art 12. ll compositore che risulterà vincitore sarà ospite
dell'Orchestra Filarmonica della Franciacorta nel corso degli
ultimi due giorni di prove e nel giorno della prima esecuzione.
Art 13. La partecipazione al concorso comporta la incondizionata accettazione del presente bando e il versamento di € 100,00
a mezzo bonifico bancario, intestato a:

La ricevuta del versamento dovrà essere inserita nella busta
chiusa allegata al plico contenente le partiture e NON alla busta
chiusa contenente i documenti identificativi. Le opere prescelte
che risultassero non ottemperare agli obblighi del presente
articolo saranno escluse dal concorso.
Art 14. La giuria assegnerà i premi a una sola Opera, ma potrà
segnalare anche altre partiture senza obbligo di esecuzione né di
corresponsione di premi in denaro.
Art 15. Le copie della partitura rimarranno comunque a far parte
dell’archivio del concorso “TERRA DI FRANCIACORTA”.
Art 16. In nessun caso sarà restituita la quota di partecipazione
al concorso.
Art 7. Le opere potranno essere inviate autonomamente dai
compositori e/o dagli editori.
Art 17. La partecipazione al concorso, regolata dal presente
bando, comporta l’incondizionata accettazione del bando
stesso. I concorrenti non avranno nulla da pretendere circa
articoli, comunicati stampa, messe in onda su web ed ogni altra
disposizione attuata per la divulgazione del concorso.
Il bando viene pubblicato in due lingue, italiano e inglese. Solo
il testo italiano ha validità ufficiale e legale.
Art 8. Una giuria di esperti di fama internazionale, incaricata
dall'Orchestra Filarmonica della Franciacorta, sceglierà l’opera
vincitrice a cui saranno assegnati i premi. Il giudizio della giuria
è insindacabile ed inappellabile.
Art 18. In caso di controversia sarà valido il testo italiano e
competente il Foro di Brescia.

Art 6. Le partiture dovranno essere anonime e contrassegnate
da un motto riproposto anche su una busta chiusa contenente il
nome, il curriculum e una foto dell’autore. Non saranno aperte
le buste corrispondenti alle partiture non selezionate.

A free pre-registration on the “Philharmonic Orchestra of Franciacorta’s” site would be appreciated
“The composition of an Opera in 3 Acts based on the italian
libretto written by the own composer or by another writer”.
Suggested themes: Mons. Geremia Bonomelli (bishop), il
Bollicine Franciacorta, vineyards and franciacorta's method,
other characters of the country, places and wine cellar
Art 2. The act must be no longer than 90 minutes.
Art 3. The competition is for composers of any nationality
without age limits.
Art 4. The scores must provide for:
Interpreters: three female voices and three male voices and coro
(SCTB). The use of all the elements is not required.
Instrumental ensemble not more than 43 elements 2 fl., 2 ob.
(whereof cr. Ing.), 2 cl. (whereof cl. basso), 2 fg., 2 cr., 2 tr., 2
trb., 1 tuba, 1 perc., 1 tymp., 1 harp celesta .and strings (8violins
1st and 6 2nd, 5 violas, 4 cellos and 2 doublebass, to use with a
division of the parts ). The use of all the elements is not required.
Art 5. Five readable copies and one reduction for piano and voice
, a CD with the Opera's file (software Finale 2010 or later) ,
PDF's score and reduction must be sent before the 31st october
2014 (will be the postmark) to:

Art 6. The scores must be anonymous and marked by a motto,
repeated on a closed envelope containing the name, the
surname, the curriculum vitae and a picture of the author. Envelopes will not be opened when corresponding to the non-selected
scores.
Art 7. The Operas could be sent by the the authors or the editors
themselves.
Art 8. A Jury of internationally renowned experts, chosen by the
Philharmonic of Franciacorta will choose the winner. The Jury’s
decision is unquestionable and final.
Art 9. The result will be comunicated here: www.orchestradellafranciacorta.it. The winner will be contacted by e-mail or by
phone and, within 15 days of notification, he/she’ll send, in PDF,
the instrumental parts.
Art 10. To the winner will get a €1.000,00 grant.
Art 11. In addition the winning work will be performed in a
staged first-ever in a Brescia's theatre on september 2015 inside
the EXPO 2015. The artistic direction will be free to promote
the winning Opera for other occasion through collaborations
with high artistic level. The score could also be printed and the
Opera became a CD or/and a DVD.
Art 12. The winner composer will be the guest of the Philharmonic Orchstra of Franciacorta for the last 2 days of the rehearsals and the day of the first public performance.
Art 13. To partecipate to this competition you must agree to all
these points and you must pay 100 euros by bank transfer to:

The payment receipt must be included in the closed enveloped
attached to the one cointaining the scores. The works that do not
comply with the requirements of this article will be excluded
from the competition.
Art 14. The Jury will give the awards to only one Opera, but it
will be able to indicate other scores, although these will not be
played and win anything.
Art 15. Copy of the score will remain in the archive of the
“TERRA DI FRANCIACORTA” competition.
Art 16. In any case the fee for the participation will not be
refunded.
Art 17. The participation to the competition, regulated by this
competition announcement, implies an unconditional acceptance of the competition itself. The competitors will have nothing
to expect (articles, press realeses, airing etc.). The competition
announcement is printed in 2 language, in italian and in english.
Only the italian text has an official and legale validity.
Art 18. In case of dispute, the italian text will be considerated
the only valid one and the court of Brescia will be the competent
one.
