FIBBIA A ROTAZIONE
ROTARY BUCKLE
Le cinture da competizione Sabelt impiegano una fibbia a sgancio rapido
a rotazione realizzata con componenti in lega di alluminio pressofusa,
acciaio e, nelle versioni ultraleggere, titanio e magnesio; il meccanismo,
collaudato da trent’anni di utilizzo da parte di piloti professionisti, si
contraddistingue per le seguenti caratteristiche:
In Sabelt competition harnesses we use rotary quick release buckles
made with die-casted aluminium alloy and steel components, titanium
and magnesium in the ultra light versions.

La versione con minileva e riparo proteggi leva, sviluppata in
collaborazione con J.P. Montoya, ha le caratteristiche di avere una
protezione inferiore e una leva con profilo poco prominente atte a
preservare la leva stessa dal contatto accidentale con le gambe o con le
braccia del pilota.
The mini lever version with lever protection cover, developed together
with J.P. Montoya, thanks to its lower protection and small profile lever
shape, avoids the accidental contact with driver legs or arms.

The characteristics of Sabelt safety
brought them to be recognized as
“Hans® Friendly” from Hubbard/
Downing Inc. Usa. In case of Hans®
usage, Sabelt recommends to use only
6 points harnesses and to read the
“Guide for the use of Hans® in motor
sport” edited by FIA Institute (1/12/04)
carefully.
Nel caso di utilizzo di collare Hans®, la
Sabelt raccomanda di impiegare solo
cinture a 6 punti di ancoraggio e di
attenersi alle prescrizioni de “Guide for

Sabelt developed two different shoulder
straps solutions for Hans:
EH1: 2” webbing in the section in
contact with the Hans® device
EH2: composed by two webbings: a 3”
one for body restraint and a 2” with its
own regulation system for restraining
Hans® device.

PUNTI DI ANCORAGGIO
FIXING POINTS
Nella scelta dei punti di ancoraggio delle cinture la Sabelt consiglia di
utilizzare gli ancoraggi previsti dal costruttore del veicolo.
In choosing the position of the fixing points of safety belts, Sabelt
recommends to use anchorage points provided by the car manufacturer.
Le figure 1 e 2 mostrano l’ubicazione degli ancoraggi per vetture
derivate dalla serie.
Pictures 1 and 2 show the location of the anchorages in series derived
cars.
Gli ancoraggi dei rami addominali (A-B) si trovano uno a dx e uno a sx
sul longherone della vettura (per vetture con guida a sx).
Anchorages (A-B) for lap straps are located one on the left and one on
the right, on the car side member (in LHD cars).
Per gli ancoraggi delle bretelle (C o C-D) si usano gli ancoraggi inferiori
delle cinture posteriori (ubicati generalmente sotto i cuscini posteriori);
per reperirli, consultare il libretto di uso e manutenzione della vetture.
For the shoulder straps anchorages (C or C-D)we use the lower
anchorage of the rear seat belts (usually located under the rear
cushions); see the car use & maintenance leaflet to locate them.
Per le cinture omologate FIA, nel caso in cui si rendesse necessaria la
realizzazione di ulteriori punti di ancoraggio,questi dovranno essere
conformi alle prescrizioni dell’Allegato J (Art.253-42).
For FIA homologated harnesses, in case of more anchorage needed, they
will have to follow the regulations of Annexe J (Art.253-42).
