Vermeiren commode chairs are the product of our experience in
the sector and the attention that we have always paid to disabled persons, always providing them with a functional and
practical product.
Precautions
It is recommended that you attentively follow the instructions given in the booklet
so that you can make best use of the product and maintain its performance for
as long as possible.
Products covered in the present manual may undergo slight changes which do
not affect use.
If clients make any changes to the product they will immediately void the guarantee.
Maintenance of the commode chairs must be performed regularly and carefully.
Failure to do this will limit the product’s lifetime.
The present manual is subject to periodic revision and will be subject to adaptations by the manufacturer.
How to read the manual
The first part describes the models, the second describes the accessories and the
instructions common to all the models.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING COMMODE CHAIRS
Before use.
Assembly
The commode chair is delivered in a cardboard container with the back rest not
mounted. This must be positioned in the proper guides and fixed with the
predisposed bolts.
Before use
Put the back rest in the desired position and fasten it, fixing the inclination and
tightening the handles to fasten it properly.
Regulate footboards in the desired inclination and define length of foot rests.
Remember that alteration is made as follows:
loosen the nut behind the footboard tube, pull out the internal part of the tube
up to the desired length, fasten bolt at the end.
Insert armrests in their position and ensure that they are blocked. To remove
them, just press the attach button and pull them upwards. Check that the brakes
work; if they do not contact your trusted reseller for correct and safe alteration.

Use of commode chair
When the commode chair is ready it can be used both indoors and outdoors
with the following warnings.
Indoors:
Ensure that the bowl has not been shifted or removed.
To sit on or get off the commode, do not push on the foot rests, but these must
be positioned after the person has sat down. If you should pick up objects on
furniture or other surfaces, do not lean out of the commode and avoid sitting on
the edge to stop the chair tipping over.
Outdoors:
When the chair is being pushed by an accompanier, lean well against the back
rest and place arms on the arm rests.
Do not confront steep descents or ascents with inclinations over 10%.
Should you stop on a sloping surface make sure that the chair is stopped with
the parking brakes. It is recommended not to go up or down steps over 3 cm
high.
If the user should fall while climbing steps without the aid of an accompanier
Vermeiran declines all liability for damages and accidents that may derive
therefrom.
If the user is wearing a jacket or any particularly large clothes, these must be
held in such a way that they cannot get into the spokes of the wheels.

Maintenance and repair
Any work needed for repair of the commode chair must be performed by a specialised workshop or by the reseller. If repairs are carried out privately
Vermeiren declines all responsibility for the guarantee if this has not yet expired.
The commode chair does not need particular maintenance, the working of the
brakes and state of the tyres must be periodically checked.
Cleaning
The commode chair must be periodically cleaned, at least once a week.
Corrosive, acid, petrol based or similar products should not be used. Use a
simple detergent diluted with water. The bowl must be carefully cleaned after
each use.
Important notice.
While accompanying people, do not surmount obstacles by lifting the chair
with the handles.

Nel caso in cui i clienti portino o porteranno delle modifiche all’ausilio faranno
decadere immediatamente la garanzia.
La manutenzione delle sedie da comodo deve essere eseguita periodicamente
e con cura; la mancata esecuzione della stessa limiterà la durata dell’ausilio.
Il presente manuale è soggetto a revisione periodica e subirà gli adeguamenti
previsti dalla casa costruttrice.

loro larghezza, e tipo di copertoni l’uso anche
all’esterno.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO DELLE SEDIE DA COMODO
Prima dell’utilizzo
Montaggio
La sedia da comodo viene consegnata in una scatola di cartone con lo schienale smontato che deve essere posizionato nelle apposite guide e fissato con i
perni predisposti.
Prima di utilizzarla si deve
Portare lo schienale nella posizione desiderata e fissarlo definendo l’inclinazione e stringendo bene le manopole per fissarlo adeguatam ente.
Regolare le pedane nell’inclinazione desiderata e definire la lunghezza dell’appoggiapiedi.
Si ricorda che la regolazione avviene nel seguente modo:
allentare il dado posto nel retro del tubolare della pedana, far scorrere la parte
interna del tubo fino al raggiungimento della lunghezza desiderata, serrare
alla fine il bullone.
Inserire i braccioli nel loro allocamento ed assicurarsi che siano bloccati. Per
rimuoverli basta premere il pulsante di aggancio e tirarli verso l’alto.
Controllare che i freni siano funzionanti, in caso contrario è opportuno prendere contatto con il vostro rivenditore di fiducia per una corretta e sicura regolazione.

Utilizzo della sedia da comodo
Quando la sedia da comodo è pronta si può utilizzarla sia all’interno che
all’esterno con seguenti avvertenze.
Per l’interno:
Assicurarsi che la vaschetta non sia stata spostata o rimossa.
Per sedersi o scendere dalla comoda non ci si deve appoggiare sugli appoggiapiedi ma gli stessi debbono essere posizionati dopo che la persona si è
seduta. Se dovete prendere degli oggetti sui mobili o su altri piani, non sporgetevi dalla comoda ed evitate di sederVi sul bordo per evitare che la comoda
si possa ribaltare.
Per l’esterno:
Quando la sedia è spinta da un accompagnatore ci si deve appoggiare bene
allo schienale e le braccia debbono essere posti sull’appoggiabraccia.
Non affrontate discese o salite ripide o con pendenze superiori al 10%.
Nel caso in cui ci si deve fermare su di un piano inclinato, assicuratevi che la
sedia sia fermata con i freni di stazionamento. Si consiglia di non affrontare o
scendere gradini se l’altezza degli stessi è superiore ai 3 cm.
In caso di caduta della persona durante il superamento di gradini senza l’ausilio di un accompagnatore la Vermeiren declina ogni responsabilità per i
danni e gli infortuni che ne possano derivare.
Se la persona è vestita con giacche o abiti particolarmente grandi, gli stessi
debbono essere raccolti in modo tale che non possano entrare nei raggi delle
ruote.

Manutenzione e riparazione.
Tutte le opere necessarie per la riparazione della sedia da comodo debbono essere eseguite da una officina specializzata o dal rivenditore. Se
le riparazioni vengono eseguite in proprio, la Vermeiren declina ogni
responsabilità per il proseguo della garanzia se non ancora scaduta.
La sedia da comodo non necessita di particolari manutenzione, deve
essere verificato periodicamente il funzionamento dei freni, e lo stato
delle gomme.
Pulizia
La sedia da comodo deve essere pulita periodicamente, almeno una
volta alla settimana. Non debbono essere usati prodotti corrosivi, acidi,
benzina o simili, si deve utilizzare un semplice detergente diluito in
acqua. La vaschetta deve pulita con cura dopo ogni utilizzo.
Avvertenza importante.
Durante l’accompagnamento delle persone, per il superamento degli ostacoli,
è assolutamente proibito sollevare la sedia utilizzando i braccioli.

garanzia e’ limitata alle sostituzione di parti riconosciute

eingehenden Endkontrolle unterzogen, um auch letzte,

In order to claim tis warranty, part “B” of this card has to be
given to your official Vermerien dealer. The warranty is only
valid when parts are replaced by Vermeiren in Belgium.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Les fauteuils manuels standard sont garantis 5 ans, les fauteuils ultra légers 4 ans. Les fauteuils électroniques, tricycles, lits et d’autres produits: 2 ans contre tous vices de
construction ou de matériaux (batteries 6 mois).
Cette garantie est expressément limitée au remplacement
des éléments ou pièces détachées reconnues défectueuses.
CONDITIONS D’APPLICATION
Pour prétendre à cette garantie, il faut présenter le certificat
de garantie que vous avez conservé à votre distributeur Vermeiren. La garantie est uniquement valable au siège de la
société.
RESERVES
Cette garantie ne pourra être appliquée en cas de:
- dommage dû à la mauvaise utilisation du fauteuil,
- endommagement pendant le transport,
- accident ou chute,
- démontage, modification ou réparation fait en
dehors de notre société,
- usure normale du fauteuil,
- non retour du coupon de garantie.

In dieser Garantie eingeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die auf
einen Produkt- oder Verarbeitungsfehler zurückzuführen
sind, Dieser Garantie unterliegen keine Schäden aus unsachgemäßer Benutzung. Ebenfalls sind Verschleißteile
von der Garantie ausgenommen.
Garantía de 5 años para sillas de ruedas estándar. Garantía
de 4 años para las sillas de ruedas ligeras. Garantía de 2
años para las sillas de ruedas electrónicas, triciclos, camas
y otros productos (las baterías tienen una garantía de 6
meses). Garantía de 3 años para las sillas de ruedas multiposición. Esta garantía se limita a la sustitución de las
piezas defectuosas o recambios.
CONDICIONES DE APLICACIÓN
Para reclamar ésta garantía, debe de entregar a su distribuidor oficial de Vermeiren el apartado "B" de esta tarjeta.
La garantía sólo es válida cuando las piezas son sustituidas
por Vermeiren Bélgica.
EXCEPCIONES
Esta garantía no es válida en caso de:
- Daños debidos a un uso incorrecto de la silla de ruedas,
- Daños durante el transporte,
- Involucración en un accidente,
- Desmontaje, modificación o reparación que no haya sido
realizada por nuestra compañía y / o distribuidor oficial de
Vermeiren,
- Desgaste normal de la silla de ruedas,
- Que no se entregue la tarjeta de garantía
