Avete acquistato una cornice foto digitale e vi ringraziamo della fiducia che ci date.
La vostra cornice digitale si integrerà perfettamente al vostro ambiente familiare. Potrete vivere
momenti conviviali con la vostra famiglia ed i vostri amici, condividendo i vostri file multimediali
(foto, video, musica), memorizzati su una penna USB o una scheda memoria compatibile, o da
album on line e da periferiche remote (tecnologia DLNA 1.5 e UPnP).
Questo manuale vi guiderà attraverso passi semplici a:
• attivare la vostra cornice digitale,
• vedere una sequenza di vostre foto,
• leggere file audio e video,
• gestire la vostra cornice e risolvere gli eventuali problemi.
Raccomandazioni e istruzioni di sicurezza
• Non installate la cornice digitale in un posto umido (bagno, lavanderia, cucina, ecc.) a meno di
1,5 m da una sorgente d'acqua, nè all'esterno. La cornice digitale deve essere utilizzata a una
temperatura ambiente compresa fra 15 °C et 35 °C.
• Non installate la cornice digitale in un luogo polveroso.
• Utilizzate esclusivamente l'adattatore rete fornito, allacciatelo alla rete elettrica,
conformemente alle istruzioni d'installazione di questo libretto e alle indicazioni riportate sulla
targhetta di identificazione (tensione, corrente, frequenza) posta sull'adattatore stesso. Per
precauzione, in caso di pericolo, gli adattatori rete servono da sezionatori dell'alimentazione di
230 V. Devono essere situati in prossimità dell'apparecchio ed essere facilmente accessibili.
• Le pile/batterie possono essere facilmente ingerite dai bambini piccoli. Non lasciate mai i
bambini giocare con il telecomando. Per non danneggiare il telecomando, utilizzate
unicamente pile identiche o di tipo equivalente. La pila fornita non è ricaricabile. La
manipolazione delle pile al litio esige il rispetto delle misure di sicurezza seguenti : non
gettatele mai nel fuoco, non ricaricatele, non inseritele al rovescio (il segno + deve essere
orientato verso l'alto), non mischiatele a pile usate dello stesso tipo o di tipo differente, poichè
esiste il rischio che prendano fuoco o si verifichino perdite di liquido.
• Certi dispositivi medici, sensibili o di sicurezza possono essere disturbati dalle
radiotrasmissioni dell'apparecchio, in ogni caso, si consiglia di rispettare le raccomandazioni
di sicurezza.

Installazione

Inserite il cavo d'alimentazione nell'ingresso sotto la cornice digitale, quindi passate il cavo
nella guida.
Collegare l'alimentatore alla presa della rete elettrica.

Togliete la cornice amovibile dalla cornice digitale, quindi sollevate la pellicola protettiva
dallo schermo tirando la linguetta.

Riposizionate la cornice amovibile (o quella fornita con l'apparecchio, se desiderate
personalizzarlo), come indicato nell'illustrazione seguente :

Durante la fase di avvio, viene visualizzato uno schermo introduttivo. Attendete qualche
istante fino alla visualizzazione dello schermo d'installazione.
Selezionate la lingua con i tasti e del telecomando quindi confermate la scelta
premendo il tasto OK.
Lo schermo seguente appare dopo la scelta della lingua :
Se desiderate collegare la cornice digitale alla rete, consultate il capitolo seguente (Collegare la

Altrimenti, premete il tasto Menu del telecomando. Accedete così al menu principale della cornice
digitale.

Collegare la cornice digitale alla rete Wi-Fi
La connessione Wi-Fi può essere configurata con la funzione Wi-Fi facile WPS (rilevamento
automatico) o manualmente.

Associate il modem alla cornice digitale premendo per più di 5 secondi il tasto REG, 1 o
Wi-Fi.

Sullo schermo d'installazione dell cornice, selezionate Wi-Fi facile WPS tramite i tasti e
del telecomando.
Convalidare la scelta premendo il tasto OK.
La procedura di connessione è lanciata, l'operazione richiede circa 2 minuti.
Una pagina visualizzata sullo schermo vi indica che la cornice digitale è connessa al
modem. Premete il tasto OK del telecomando.

Connessione Wi-Fi manuale
La configurazione manuale deve essere utilizzata nei casi seguenti :
• l'installazione Wi-Fi facile WPS è fallita ;
• la funzione Wi-Fi facile WPS non è disponibile sul modem.
Prima di incominciare, è necessario:

• munirsi delle informazioni rete relative al modem (nome
della rete SSID, codice WEP o WPA,...). Queste
informazioni si trovano generalmente sotto l'apparecchio.
• attivare, se necessario, il modo associazione del modem.
Per informazioni complementari sulla configurazione di rete del
modem, consultate la relativa istruzione d'uso.

In funzione della configurazione del modem, può essere necessario immettere un codice
WEP o WPA :

Se il codice del modem contiene dei caratteri non disponibili sul
telecomando o sulla tastiera virtuale della cornice digitale,
riconfigurate il modem prima di proseguire l’installazione.

PRIMA DI CONFERMARE, si deve associare il modem alla cornice, premendo per più di 5
secondi il tasto REG, 1 o Wi-Fi.
Dalla cornice Wi-Fi, potete ora selezionare Confermare con i tasti e del
telecomando, quindi convalidare con il tasto OK.

Potete ora scegliere la configurazione rete della cornice digitale : configurazione
automatica delle informazioni rete attraverso DHCP (consigliato) o configurazione
manuale. Si consiglia di utilizzare la configurazione automatica.

La procedura di connessione è lanciata, l'operazione richiede circa 2 minuti. La frase Si
prega di attendere durante l'installazione è visualizzata sullo schermo.
La cornice digitale è ora connessa alla rete Wi-Fi ed è pronta per l'uso.
La connessione wi-fi permette di associare la cornice digitale ad un album di foto on line, per
visualizzare sull'apparecchio le immagini contenute nell'album. Vi invitiamo a creare per prima
cosa, se non l'avete già fatto, un album on line di vostre foto, su Virgilio Foto Album e/o Picasa,
per poterle visualizzare sul vostro Wi Foto in maniera semplice e veloce.
Spegnere / Accendere la cornice digitale
Importante
Non spegnete la cornice scollegando direttamente il cavo di
alimentazione dalla presa di rete. Si potrebbero danneggiare o
perdere dei file.
Per spegnere la cornice digitale, premere per più di 2 secondi il tasto ON/OFF situato dietro
l'apparecchio.
Per riaccendere la cornice digitale, premere di nuovo per più di 2 secondi il tasto ON/OFF.
Se desiderate unicamente spegnere / riaccendere lo schermo senza spegnere completamente la
cornice digitale (mettere lo schermo in standby), potete utilizzare uno dei metodi seguenti :
• premere brevemente (per meno di 2 secondi) il tasto ON/OFF situato dietro
l'apparecchio ;
• premete il tasto
del telecomando.
Quando lo schermo è spento (in standby), il LED azzurro del tasto ON/OFF è acceso.

Interfaccia utente
Navigazione nell'interfaccia utente
La navigazione nei menu si effettua dal telecomando. Utilizzate principalmente i tasti , , e
per spostarvi e il tasto OK per confermare la scelta.
Quando è necessario, la cornice digitale mette a vostra disposizione una tastiera virtuale che
consente di immettere testo, numeri, caratteri di punteggiatura, ecc.
Selezionate con i tasti , , e il campo di immissione quindi premete il tasto OK per
visualizzare la tastiera virtuale.
I differenti caratteri possono essere immessi in modo maiuscolo o minuscolo, le illustrazioni
seguenti vi consentono di identificare rapidamente quale modalità deve essere attivata e per
quale carattere.

La cornice digitale comprende 2 menu principali, il menu Media e il menu Regolazioni.
Per accedere a questo schermo, premete il tasto Menu del telecomando. Ora, è sufficiente

Le cartelle Virgilio foto album, Picasa e Multimedia che ricevono i file scaricati possono essere
accompagnate dagli indicatori seguenti :
• numero di nuovi file ricevuti ;
• crocetta rossa indicante che è sorto un problema (perdita della connessione Wi-Fi,
indisponibilità del servizio album foto, ecc.). Un messaggio esplicito viene visualizzato
anche sulla parte inferiore dello schermo per consentire la soluzione di qualsiasi
problema sulla cornice digitale.

Visualizzazione su Wi Foto di numero seriale e PIN
Per associare la cornice digitale ad un album di Virgilio occorre inserire nella sezione dedicata del
portale Virgilio due parametri: numero di serie e PIN.

Lanciare una sequenza di immagini
Lanciare una sequenza di immagini da una scheda memoria o da una
penna USB

Inserite la scheda memoria nella porta prevista, con il lato posteriore rivolto verso la
cornice digitale. Per inserire una scheda memoria di tipo Secure DigitalTM o Memory
StickTM, premete la scheda fino al bloccaggio. Premere di nuovo la scheda per sbloccare e
togliere la scheda fino al bloccaggio.

Se desiderate collegare una penna USB, togliete le protezione per liberare l'accesso alla
porta mini-USB della cornice digitale, collegate l'adattatore USB fornito alla porta mini-USB

Selezionate una foto come punto di partenza della sequenza di immagini, quindi premete il
tasto OK del telecomando.
La sequenza di immagini si lancia e visualizza le foto che si trovano nella directory
corrente.
Nota
La procedura per lanciare una sequenza di immagini da
un'altra risorsa è identica a quella descritta precedentemente.
Basta selezionare la cartella desiderata (es. : Virgilio foto
album) invece della cartella corrispondente alla penna USB o
alla scheda memoria.
Per ascoltare una musica di accompagnamento durante l'esecuzione della sequenza di immagini,
dovete definirla prima di lanciare la sequenza di immagini. A tal fine, consultate il paragrafo
Ascoltare una musica di accompagnamento, pagina 18.
Azioni possibili durante l'esecuzione della sequenza di immagini
In qualsiasi momento, potete agire sulla sequenza di immagini, con i tasti di navigazione e di
controllo del telecomando. Potete spostarvi fra le foto visualizzate, ingrandire una foto,
sospendere temporaneamente la sequenza di immagini o arrestarla.
Per spostarvi manualmente fra le foto della sequenza di immagini, utilizzate i tasti e del
telecomando.
Per sospendere/rilanciare la sequenza di immagini, premete il tasto
del telecomando.
Per aumentare o diminuire le dimensioni della foto visualizzata, utilizzate i tasti e . La
sequenza di immagini passa in standby in modalità zoom. Lo zoom predefinito è del 100%. I valori
di zoom disponibili sono del 125% e del 150%.
Nota
La qualità della visualizzazione dipende dalla qualità originale
delle foto.
Per arrestare la sequenza di immagini, premete il tasto
del telecomando.
Personalizzare la sequenza di immagini
Durante l'esecuzione della sequenza di immagini, sono disponibili le regolazioni seguenti :
• modificare la frequenza di visualizzazione delle foto (fra 5 e 60 secondi)
• attivare/disattivare la funzione Crystal Image per l'ottimizzazione automatica delle foto.
Questa funzione consente di migliorare automaticamente la qualità delle foto (nitidezza,
luminosità, contrasto) e di correggere l'effetto "Occhi rossi".
• modificare il tipo di transizione da una foto all'altra (aleatorio, persiana, rettangolo,
mosaico, ecc. )
• attivare/disattivare la musica di accompagnamento

La cornice digitale consente di ascoltare una musica di accompagnamento durante l'esecuzione
della sequenza di immagini. La musica di accompagnamento può essere un file audio o una
playlist.

Configurazione / Gestione delle risorse
Questo capitolo presenta le informazioni necessarie per gestire le risorse della cornice digitale e,
in particolare, le procedure per:
• registrare file in memoria ;
• definire le risorse utilizzate (scaricare da servizi Internet, copiare) ;
• gestire i file.
Organizzazione dei file
La cornice digitale può accedere ai file registrati nella sua memoria interna o su periferiche esterne
o distanti.
La memoria interna predefinita è composta delle cartelle seguenti :
• la cartella Virgilio foto album
• la cartella Multimedia
• la cartella Picasa (se questo servizio è stato configurato)
Le periferiche esterne sono:
• una penna o una periferica USB
• le schede memoria (SD, MS e CF)
• le cartelle condivise situate su un apparecchio compatibile DLNA 1.5 collegato e
identificato sulla stessa rete locale (server UPnP ad esempio)
Nota
Tutte le foto e tutti i file multimediali sono accessibili tramite il
menu Media.
Copiare file da una periferica esterna
La copia dei file nella memoria interna della cornice digitale può essere effettuata a partire da più
tipi di media:
• una penna USB collegata alla cornice digitale ((o periferica USB),
• una scheda memoria collegata alla cornice digitale,
• una cartella condivisa da una periferica distante compatibile DLNA 1.5 collegata e
identificata sulla stessa rete locale.

Per copiare dei file nella memoria interna della cornice digitale, procedete come segue:

Una volta nella cartella origine, spostatevi utilizzando i tasti , , e del
telecomando. Per accedere al contenuto di una directory, premete il tasto OK.
Una volta identificata la foto o il file multimediale, selezionatela, quindi premete il tasto
del telecomando.
Nota

Se la memoria è satura (15 MB max attribuiti), un messaggio vi avverte.
Se desiderate comunque copiare il file, selezionate l'opzione Copia per confermare. In tal
caso, il sistema elimina automaticamente i file più vecchi e non bloccati fino a che sia
liberato lo spazio necessario.
Nota

Tutte le foto e tutti i file multimediali sono automaticamente
copiati nella cartella Multimedia della cornice digitale,
accessibile tramite il menu Media.
Se non volete un'eliminazione automatica e preferite eliminare
manualmente i file per liberare spazio, selezionate
l'opzione Cancella.
Consultate il paragrafo Eliminare dei file, pagina 25 per
eliminare manualmente dei file.
Una volta copiati il o i file, premete il tasto Menu del telecomando per tornare al menu
principale.
Scaricare file da album on line
Il download di file multimediali da siti on line richiede la configurazione dei servizi sulla cornice
digitale.
Per prima cosa, dovete aprire l'album di foto on line desiderato, quindi avere a disposizione le
informazioni di identificazione seguenti:
• per Virgilio foto album, numero di serie di 15 cifre e password di 8 cifre della cornice digitale,
• per Picasa, login e password di connessione dell'album di Picasa.
Potete quindi associare la cornice digitale al vostro album dal menu Download.
Nota
Non tutti i caratteri speciali (come ad esempio @ e $) possono
essere usati per nominare le foto su Picasa, vi invitiamo
pertanto a non utilizzare i caratteri speciali per nominare le
vostro foto su un album di Picasa.

Per associare un vostro album on line alla cornice digitale, dovete
inserire i parametri d'identificazione su Virgilio foto album. Per
creare o gestire un album su Virgilio foto album ed associarlo alla
cornice digitale collegatevi alla sezione dedicata di Virgilio alla
pagina http://cornicedigitale.alice.it, inserite quindi il numero di
serie di 15 cifre (riportato sull'etichetta del prodotto) e la password
di 8 cifre (generata dalla cornice).
Picasa
1. Selezionate il campo Media Service con i tasti e , quindi
confermate con il tasto OK.
2. Selezionate il servizio Picasa con i tasti e , quindi
confermate con il tasto OK.
3. Selezionate il campo Login con i tasti e quindi immettete
il login dell'album, di Picasa direttamente tramite il telecomando
o premete il tasto OK per visualizzare la tastiera virtuale.
4. Selezionate il campo Password con i tasti e quindi
immettete la password dell'album di Picasa direttamente
tramite il telecomando o premete il tasto OK per visualizzare la
tastiera virtuale.
5. Selezionate il campo Nome dell'album con i tasti e ,
quindi immettete il nome dell'album in linea Picasa da
associare alla cornice digitale.
Attenzione : la prima lettera deve obbligatoriamente essere in
maiuscolo, anche se il nome dell'album in linea incomincia da
una minuscola. Non inserire gli spazi nel nome dell'album, se è
composto da più parole.
Una volta configurato il servizio, la cartella chiamata Picasa
appare nel menu Media. Questa cartella è destinata a ricevere le
foto scaricate da Picasa. Impostare ora e data sulla cornice digitale
prima di caricare le foto da un album Picasa.

Selezionate il campo Download più tardi con i tasti e , quindi confermate con il

Selezionate la frequenza con cui la cornice digitale deve collegarsi automaticamente al
servizio selezionato (15 min - 30 min - 1 ora - 4 ore - 12 ore - 24 ore) e aggiornate le foto
scaricate con i tasti e .
Premere il tasto OK per confermare la scelta.
Una volta il o i servizi configurati, selezionate il tasto Confermare con i tasti e , quindi
premete il tasto OK.
Il download si effettua in modo automatico con la frequenza che avete indicato.
Nota
All'accensione, la cornice non effettua il download automatico
delle foto, che avviene quando è trascorso il tempo impostato.
Se non volete attendere per aggiornare le immagini, effettuate
il download manuale.
Download dei file
La capacità di memorizzazione degli spazi Virgilio foto album e Picasa sulla cornice digitale è di
circa 90 immagini ciascuno (15 MB). Se non bloccate certe foto, le foto più vecchie saranno
sostituite dalle più recenti. Tuttavia, queste foto non saranno cancellate dal vostro album in linea;
potete scaricarle in ogni momento su un PC, scambiarle o stamparle.
Se la memoria della cornice digitale per gli spazi Virgilio foto album e Picasa è piena o l'album da
cui si effettua il download delle foto è vuoto sullo schermo comparirà il messaggio Album vuoto/
Memoria piena.
Importante
I file scaricati non sono bloccati e possono essere eliminati al
successivo aggiornamento. Per conservare i file preferiti,
bloccateli (consultate il paragrafo Bloccare/Sbloccare un file,
pagina 24).
Il download si effettua in modo automatico con la frequenza che avete indicato nei servizi Internet.
Nota
Il download automatico sulla cornice è impostato di default a 1
ora.
È disponibile anche una funzione di aggiornamento manuale. Se avete modificato i file
multimediali del vostro album Internet e desiderate aggiornarli sulla cornice digitale senza
attendere il download automatico, potete utilizzare la funzione Download immediato.

• le foto sono ordinate nelle rispettive cartelle Virgilio foto album e Picasa,
• i file audio/video sono ordinati nella cartella Multimedia, qualunque ne sia l'origine.
Su un album di Virgilio non nominate due immagini
differenti con lo stesso nome. Se viene inserita una foto
Importante nell'album con il nome di una già presente, l'ultima
sostituisce la precedente.
Gestire i file/risorse
Le procedure descritte in questo paragrafo sono applicabili unicamente sulle cartelle:
• Multimedia
• Virgilio foto album
• Picasa
Le uniche operazioni possibili sulle periferiche esterne o distanti sono la lettura e la copia di file.
Bloccare/Sbloccare un file
Si consiglia di bloccare i file che si intende conservare per evitare che vengano eliminati
automaticamente durante un'operazione di copia o di aggiornamento delle cartelle.
Per bloccare/sbloccare un file, si procede come segue:

E' possibile visualizzare sulla cornice digitale le foto presenti su dispositivi (PC e cellulari abilitati)
collegati alla propria rete locale tramite protocollo DLNA.

Modificare/Personalizzare la visualizzazione
Il menu Personalizzazione vi fornisce la possibilità di modificare :
• la lingua dell'interfaccia,
• la luminosità dello schermo (11 livelli),
• lo stato della modalità standby e la relativa fascia oraria.

1. Selezionate con i tasti e ,l'ora di inizio della modalità
standby (casella 1), quindi confermate con il tasto OK.
2. Utilizzate i tasti e , per selezionare l'ora desiderata, quindi

Reimpostare la cornice digitale
Questa procedura cancella tutte le regolazioni della cornice digitale e rilancia un'installazione
completa.

Regolare la data e l'ora
La funzione Calendario permette di regolare data e ora, per effettuare le regolazioni procedete
come indicato di seguito.

All'attivazione della sveglia, la cornice digitale visualizza l'ora e una campana lampeggiante
(icona
). La cornice digitale esegue anche il suono definito come modalità di sveglia: suono
predefinito "buzzer" o il file audio definito nel menu Musica di sottofondo.
Nota
La cornice digitale esegue automaticamente il suono
prestabilito (buzzer) se all'attivazione della sveglia il file audio
non è disponibile.
Per arrestare la sveglia, premete qualsiasi tasto del telecomando. Lo schermo standby viene
quindi visualizzato. Per uscire dalla modalità standby, premete di nuovo qualsiasi tasto del
telecomando. In assenza di alimentazione 230 V la funzione sveglia non è disponibile.

Manutenzione
Sostituzione delle pile del telecomando
Per cambiare le pile del telecomando, seguite i passi successivi :

Aprite lo scomparto della pila come indicato nel disegno sullo scomparto stesso.
Estrarre la pila usata.
Inserire una pila nuova 3V al litio dello stesso tipo, rispettando il senso d'inserimento.
Il segno + deve essere rivolto verso di voi.
Richiudete lo scomparto della pila.
Pulizia
Per pulire la cornice digitale, seguite i passi successivi :

Spegnete la cornice digitale, premendo per più di 2 secondi il pulsante ON / OFF situato
dietro l'apparecchio.
Pulire lo schermo con un panno morbido senza pelucchi, tenendo conto della lista dei
prodotti autorizzati/vietati :

Asciugare delicatamente la superficie. Esercitate una pressione minima.
Quando utilizzate un prodotto detergente, applicate sempre la soluzione sul panno quindi
utilizzate il panno per pulire la cornice digitale.
Se vaporizzate un liquido direttamente sulla cornice digitale, potete danneggiarla. Questi danni
non sono coperti dalla garanzia.

Risoluzione dei problemi

download.
Si raccomanda di non utilizzare la cornice digitale per tutta la durata dell'aggiornamento e di
seguire le istruzioni visualizzate sullo schermo.

Ambiente
La protezione dell'ambiente è una preoccupazione essenziale del fabbricante.

L'imballaggio
Per facilitare il riciclaggio, rispettate le regole di raccolta differenziata vigenti localmente per
questo tipo di rifiuti.
Le pile
Il vostro prodotto contiene pile, esse devono essere depositate presso i punti di raccolta stabiliti.
Informazioni agli utenti
