CARATTERISTICHE TECNICHE
The EPC sockets, with range from 63A to
125A, are particularly suitable to power
welding equipment, compressors, generators and large mobile equipment in general.
The AP series plugs are available with three
or four poles plus earth. Closure of the circuit breaker is possible only when the plug
is inserted, and extraction of the plug is
possible only when the circuit breaker is in
the “open” position.

l’alimentazione di saldatrici, compressori,
generatori e grosse utenze mobili in genere. Le spine della serie AP sono costruite
in modelli a tre poli o a quattro poli più
terra. La manovra di chiusura dell’interruttore possibile solamente con spina inserita, mentre l’estrazione della spina è possibile solamente con l’interruttore in posizione di “aperto”.

Explosion-proof sockets and plugs are manufactered according to the
standards EN 60079-0: 2006, EN 60079-1: 2004, EN 61241-0: 2006,
EN 61241-1: 2004 and EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE 94/9/EC: 1994.

These sockets and plugs can be installed indoors or outdoors in
potentially hazardous atmospheres due to the presence of explosive
or combustible gases and dusts. They are installed in the following
zones: zone 1, zone 2, zone 21 and zone 22.

STRUCTURE
COSTRUZIONE
The body and cover of both the socket and the plug are made of UNI
4514, UNI 3049, UNI 3051 or UNI 3599 copper-free aluminium alloy.
The body of the EPC socket consists of a GUB-03 enclosure with four
1 1/2” GAS UNI 6125 threaded entries. The body of the EPRC consists of a CCA-03E enclosure with two 1 1/2” GAS UNI 6125 threaded
entries. Inside is a switch that works by operating the knob on the
side (see illustration below). All the pins are made of chrome finished
brass. The CRV-4200 bi-component resin is temperature resistant up
to 120°C and the NBR standard seals are resistant to temperatures
between -30°C and+100°C. The socket features a cap with chain,
stainless steel screws and RAL 7035 epoxy coating.
Il corpo ed il coperchio della presa e la spina sono costruiti in lega di
alluminio UNI 4514, UNI 3049, UNI 3051 o UNI 3599 esente da rame.
Il corpo della presa EPC costituito dalla custodia GUB-03 presenta
n° 4 imbocchi filettati 1 1/2” GAS UNI 6125; Il corpo della EPRC costituito dalla custodia CCA-03E presenta n° 2 imbocchi filettati 1 1/2”
GAS UNI 6125. All’interno è installato un interruttore che agisce con
la manovra in alluminio montata lateralmente (figura sottostante). Tutti
gli spinotti sono in ottone con finitura di cromatura. La resina bicomponente è la CRV-4200 resistente a temperature fino a 120°C.
Le guarnizioni standard sono in NBR resistente a temperature di
-30°+100°C. La presa è fornita con tappo di chiusura con catena per
l’imperdibilità. Tutta la viteria è in acciaio inox. La verniciatura è epossidica RAL 7035.

in 2003, the threading to couple our plugs and receptacles has been changed from
Withworth to ISO. You are kindly invited to pay attention to the threading, when you
order the spare parts and/or the plug only, since the receptacles manufactured nowadays (ISO threaded) do not fit the old plugs and vice versa. Starting January 2008 no
more spare parts Withworth threaded will be manufactured nor will be available.
Con la ricertificazione dei nostri prodotti in accordo alla direttiva 94/9/CE, entrata in
vigore nel 2003, le filettature di accoppiamento delle nostre prese e spine non sono più
di tipo Withworth, bensì di tipo ISO. Vi preghiamo pertanto di fare attenzione al tipo di
filettatura, quando ordinate i ricambi e/o la sola spina, in quanto le prese attualmente
prodotte (con filettatura ISO) non sono compatibili con le vecchie spine e viceversa.
Dal mese di Gennaio 2008, inoltre, i ricambi con filettature Withworth non saranno più
prodotti né saranno disponibili.

The plug does not come out of the socket if the switch is set to “ON” (with the knob up) or if the arrows “e” are not lined up.
La spina non uscirà dalla presa se l’interruttore è in posizione “ON” (con la manovra verso l’alto) o comunque se i riferimenti “e” non sono allineati sullo
stesso asse.
