The VIII AIZ Congress is organised by AIZ,
University of Eastern Piedmont, University of
Turin, and Polytechnic of Turin, under the
auspices of AIMAT and Torino city.

Oral Presentations
Conference Venue
The time available for each oral presentation is 20
minutes included discussion. Multimedia facilities
and overhead projectors will be available for
presentations (Windows XP preferred).
The VIII AIZ Congress will be held at Villa Gualino
Congress Centre, Viale Settimio Severo, 63, Turin
(Italy). Villa Gualino is located on the hills of Torino,
with a panoramic view over the town and the
surrounding Alps. Recently restored by the Piedmont
Regional Administration, the Villa is now a structure for
the promotion of research and advanced training
programmes and for the carrying out of cultural and
scientific exchange initiatives.
Poster Presentations
Poster presentations will be organised and
displayed during the congress days. The
recommended
dimensions
for
poster
presentations are 85 cm (width) x 120 cm (height).
The presence of at least one author of each
poster contribution is kindly recommended.
Language
Oral contributions can be given in Italian or
English. However, due to the presence of foreign
invited speakers, it is kindy requested to prepare
slides in English.
The book of abstract of the
Congress will be published by

Stop 39 - C.Vittorio Emanule - Porta Nuova F.S. – Take bus
52 and then bus 73. Get off at Settimio Severo.
From Porta Susa Station:

Bus 73. Get off at Settimio Severo.
From the airport Torino Caselle
Take the train line TO-CE, direction of Torino Dora for 5
stops. Get off at Torino Dora. Take Bus 52 in direction of
Adua Cap. Get off at MONCALIERI. Take Bus 73 in direction
Zara. Get off at Settimio Severo.
By car:
from Milan/Aosta: ring road exit- Regina Margherita.
from Savona or Piacenza: ring road exit- Corso Unità d'Italia.

Accompanying Person: 100 Euros
The Congress fees will cover the affiliation fee
2007 (26 €) to the AIZ (Italian Zeolite Association),
conference materials, coffee-breaks and social
events.
