Alkoholgehaltsbestimmung
von Spirituosen und Ethanol-Gemischen
Für die Bestimmung des Alkoholgehaltes ist ein zu der Empfehlung R44
(Stand 1985) der Internationalen
Organisation für das gesetzliche
Messwesen (OIML) konformes
Thermoalkoholometer zu verwenden.
Ein Thermoalkoholometer bestimmt
sowohl den Alkoholgehalt in
Volumen­prozenten als auch die
Temperatur der Mischung in Grad
Celsius. Die Volumenprozente
bezeichnen das Volumen von Ethanol,
das in einer wässrigen Mischung von
Ethanol enthalten ist. Die nachstehende Tabelle dient der Umrechnung der
bestimmten Volumenkonzentration
von Ethanol in einer Mischung auf
Referenzbedingungen von 20 °C. Die
umgerechneten Volumenkonzentra­
tionen entsprechen den Alkoholtafeln
der Empfehlung R22 (Stand 1975) der
OIML.
Das Thermometer zeigt die Temperatur der Mischung an – vorderste
Spalte der Tafel: T (°C) – und das
Alkoholometer zeigt die Volumenkonzentration – oberste Zeile: % vol – an.
Die auf Referenzbedingungen
bezogene Volumenkonzentration ist
im Schnittpunkt von Spalte und Zeile
abzulesen. Dieser Wert entspricht
dem Gehalt an reinem Alkohol in der
Mischung bei Referenzbedingungen.

Die Umrechnungstabelle beinhaltet
die Korrektur der Oberflächenspannung. Bei dieser Korrektur muss der
Durchmesser des Stängels und die
Empfindlichkeit des verwendeten
Alkoholometers berücksichtigt
werden. Es wurden die Kenndaten
von Klasse II Instrumenten gemäss
OIML R44 berücksichtigt, die
üblicherweise bei der Eidgenössischen
Alkoholverwaltung verwendet
werden. Aufgrund dieser Korrektur
sind geringfügige Unterschiede zu
anderen amtlichen Alkoholtafeln
möglich. Die Differenz beträgt
maximal 0.1% vol. Die Werte der
Tabelle stimmen mit den Werten aus
dem elektronischen Alkoholrechenprogramm der Eidgenössischen
Alkoholverwaltung überein, wenn
diese auf 1 Stelle nach dem Komma
gerundet werden.

Weisungen für die Messung
(siehe auch Gebrauchsanleitung zum
Gerät)
– Bei jeder Musterziehung ist darauf
zu achten, dass das gezogene Muster bezüglich der verbleibenden
Ware im Behälter repräsentativ ist.
Vor der Musterziehung gut
homogenisieren!
– Das Thermoalkoholometer und das
Standglas müssen für eine
Messung stets sauber, das Alkoholometer zudem absolut trocken
sein. Das saubere Standglas ist vor
der Messung mit der zu bestimmenden Spirituose 3-mal auszu­
spülen. Die Probe langsam in das
Standglas giessen.
– Das Alkoholometer ist, zuoberst
spitz gehalten, senkrecht und
langsam in die Flüssigkeit einzutauchen, bis es selber schwimmt. Es
darf dabei höchstens 5 mm tiefer
eintauchen als bei natürlicher
Schwimmlage. Der herausragende
Teil des Stängels darf nicht nass
und dadurch schwerer werden.

– Das Instrument muss im Zylinder
frei und etwa mittig schwimmen
können. Der seitliche Abstand des
unteren, breiten Teils des Alkoholometers soll deshalb beidseits
mindestens je 7.5 mm betragen
und zum Boden des Standglases
sollte der Abstand mindestens
2 cm sein. Das Standglas ist im
Übrigen senkrecht zu halten.
– Nach mindestens 1 Minute, besser
2 Minuten Wartezeit kann am
Thermometer die Temperatur und
an der Skala des Stängels die
Volumenprozente abgelesen
werden. Für das Ablesen der
Volumenprozente sind die Augen
dicht unter die Höhe des Flüssigkeitsspiegels zu halten. Der
Flüssigkeitsspiegel bildet eine gut
sichtbare Schnittlinie am Stängel
des Alkoholometers. Auf dieser
Ebene wird abgelesen. Massgebend ist der Wert für denjenigen
Teilstrich, welcher vom waagrechten Flüssigkeitsstand erreicht oder
überstiegen wird.
Détermination de la teneur alcoolique
des alcools et eaux-de-vie
Pour déterminer la teneur alcoolique,
il convient d’utiliser un thermoalcoomètre (alcoomètre muni d’un
thermomètre) conforme à la recommandation R44 (édition1985) de
l’Organisation internationale de
métrologie légale (OIML). Un
thermoalcoomètre permet de
déterminer aussi bien le titre alcoométrique en pour-cent du volume que la
température du mélange en degrés
Celsius. Autrement dit la teneur
alcoolique effective d’un mélange
d’alcool éthylique et d’eau en
pour-cent du volume, soit la relation
entre le volume d’alcool pur et le
volume du mélange, rapportés tous
deux à la température de référence de
20° C (tableau ci-après). Les concentrations volumiques converties
correspondent aux tables alcoométriques internationales de la recommandation R22 (édition 1975) de
l’OIML.
Le thermomètre indique la température du mélange - 1ère colonne
verticale de la table T (°C) – et
l’alcoomètre indique le pour-cent
alcoolique apparent - colonne
horizontale supérieure: %vol. Le
pour-cent effectif se trouve à
l’intersection des deux colonnes. Il
désigne la teneur alcoolique réelle du
mélange, aux conditions de référence.

La table de conversion comprend la
correction de la tension superficielle.
Cette correction tient compte du
diamètre de la tige et de la sensibilité
de l’alcoomètre utilisés. Ont été
retenus les paramètres des instruments de la classe 2 conformément à
la Recommandation R44 de l’OIML
qui sont habituellement utilisés
auprès de la Régie fédérale des
alcools. Sur la base de cette correction, des différences minimes (0.1%
vol. maximum) par rapport à d’autres
tables alcoométriques officielles sont
possibles. Les valeurs de la table
correspondent à celles tirées du
programme électronique d’alcoométrie de la Régie fédérale des alcools,
lorsque celles-ci sont arrondies à
1 chiffre après la virgule.

– Lors de chaque prélèvement
d’échantillon, il convient de veiller
à ce que celui-ci soit bien représentatif de la marchandise devant être
analysée. Une bonne homogénéisation préalable du liquide est
indispensable
– Le thermoalcoomètre et le récipient
de mesure (éprouvette) doivent
être soigneusement nettoyés avant
l’emploi. L’alcoomètre doit être
parfaitement sec. Après nettoyage,
l’éprouvette doit être rincée à trois
reprises avec le liquide qui doit être
analysé. Verser lentement le liquide
dans l’éprouvette.
– L’alcoomètre doit être saisi
délicatement par le sommet et
plongé à la verticale avec soin dans
le liquide jusqu’au point où il
commence à flotter par lui-même.
Il ne doit pas s’enfoncer de plus de
5 millimètres. Le sommet de
l’instrument ne doit pas être
humide, ce qui l’alourdirait.

– L’instrument doit pouvoir nager
librement à au moins 7.5 millimètres des parois. La distance par
rapport au fond de l’éprouvette
doit être d’au moins 2 cm.
L’éprouvette doit être tenue bien
droite.
– Après l’immersion, il convient
d’attendre au moins 1 minute,
voire deux, avant de lire le résultat
de la teneur alcoolique et la
température. La lecture de
l’instrument se fait depuis le bas.
On lit la valeur pour le dernier trait
visible sous le niveau du liquide
lorsque le regard est placé
légèrement en retrait de la surface.
Le dernier trait atteint ou dépassé
lorsque l’éprouvette suit la ligne
horizontale est donc déterminant
pour la valeur de mesure.

Per determinare il tenore alcolico va
utilizzato un termoalcolometro
(alcolometro munito di un termometro) conforme alla Raccomandazione
R44 (edizione 1985) dell’Organizzazione Internazionale di Metrologia
Legale (OIML) Un termoalcolometro
permette di determinare il tenore
alcolico effettivo di una miscela di
etanolo e d’acqua in percento del
volume, ossia la relazione fra il volume
di etanolo e il volume della miscela,
rapportati ambedue alla temperatura
di 20°C. La tabella qui sotto permette
di convertire la concentrazione
volumetrica dell’alcool in una miscela
alla temperatura di riferimento 20 °C.
Le concentrazioni volumetriche
convertite corrispondono alle tavole
alcolometriche della Raccomandazione R22 (edizione 1975) dell’OIML.
Il termometro indica la temperatura
della miscela – prima colonna verticale
della tavola: T (°C) – e l’alcolometro
indica il percento alcolico apparente
– colonna orizzontale superiore: %
volume. Il percento effettivo si trova
all’intersezione delle due colonne.
Esso corrisponde al tenore alcolico
reale della miscela alle condizioni di
riferimento.

La tabella di conversione comprende
la correzione della tensione superficiale. Per questa correzione vengono
prese in considerazione il diametro
dello stelo e la sensibilità dell’alcolometro utilizzato. Sono stati presi in
considerazione i dati caratteristici
degli strumenti della classe II secondo
la Raccomandazione R44 dell‘OIML
che vengono utilizzati abitualmente
dalla Regia federale degli alcool. Per
via di questa correzione piccolissime
differenze con altre tavole ufficiali
sono possibili. La differenza non
supera il 0.1 %. I valori della tabella
corrispondono a quelli del programma d’alcolometria della Regia federale
degli alcool per la conversione dei
valori costatati, se esse vengono
arrotondate ad una cifra dopo la
virgola.

Istruzioni per la misurazione

dell’apparecchio)
– Ad ogni prelievo di campione di
merce bisogna badare affinché il
campione abbia un carattere
rappresentativo. Pertanto, prima di
procedere al prelievo di un
campione di merce, è opportuno
compiere una buona omogeneizzazione.
– Il termoalcolometro e il recipiente
contenente la soluzione (provetta)
devono essere minuziosamente
puliti prima del loro impiego.
L’alcolometro, in particolare,
dev’essere assolutamente asciutto.
La provetta pulita dev’essere
risciacquata per tre volte con la
soluzione destinata al controllo.
Versare lentamente la soluzione da
analizzare nella provetta.
– L’alcolometro, tenuto dal pollice e
dall’indice, con la parte affusolata
verso l’alto, dev’essere immerso
lentamente e perpendicolarmente
nel liquido, finché la parte emergente (asta) non si bagni, e di
conseguenza, si appesantisca. Si
può immergere lo strumento fino a
5 mm sotto il livello di galleggiamento normale.

– Lo strumento deve poter galleggiare liberamente e nel mezzo del
cilindro. La distanza laterale della
parte larga dello strumento deve
essere pertanto di almeno 7.5 mm
e la distanza dal fondo della
provetta deve essere di almeno
2 cm. La provetta deve essere
inoltre tenuta perpendicolarmente.
– Dopo un minuto (meglio due)
dall’immersione, si procede alla
lettura della temperatura e del
tenore alcolico; ai fini di una lettura
adeguata, bisognerà tenere
l’occhio appena un po‘ al di sotto
della superficie del liquido. A
questo punto si potrà costatare che
il livello di quest’ultimo segnerà un
tratto ben distinto sull’asta dello
strumento. La lettura sarà pertanto
effettuata in conformità a questo
tratto. Si considererà decisivo il
valore del tratto che raggiunge o
supera il livello perpendicolare del
liquido.
